Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan efektivitas pembelajaran IPA berbasis empat pilar pendidikan yaitu learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengentahuan Alam tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Desain penelitian quasi-experiment bentuk Nonequivalent control-group design, dengan mengambil pretes sebelum diberi perlakuan kemudian dilakukan postes. Dari hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi (p-value) dengan ANCOVA adalah 0,026. Karena nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara peserta didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran IPA berbasis empat pilar pendidikan dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran secara konvensional. Data hasil analisis efektivitas didapatkan nilai probabilitas (Sig.) 0,000< 0,05 artinya pembelajaran IPA berbasis empat pilar pendidikan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. The Effect of Four Pillars Education in Science Learning to the Critical Thinking Ability Abstract  The purpose of the research to determine the effect and effectiveness of the four pillars of education in science learning (learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be) to the critical thinking ability. This research was conducted in the eighth grade junior high school in the subject of Natural Science of the academic year 2017/2018.  By using a quasi-experimental research design in the Nonequivalent control-group design form, by taking pretest before being treated then post tes. Based on the research data the significance value (p-value) with ANCOVA is 0.026. Because the significance value is less than 0.05, there is a significant influence between students who use science learning based on the four pillars of education with students who use conventional learning. The results of the effectiveness data analysis obtained the probability value (Sig.) 0,000 <0,05 which means that science learning based on four pillars of education is effective in improving student’s critical thinking skills.

Abstract

In the digital and disrupt era 4.0 requires innovation in meeting human needs, especially in commerce. The purpose of this study is to increase student interest in entrepreneurship through e-commerce textbooks. This research is a research and development research with ADDIE model. Product validity data collection using questionnaires and tests to find out the increase in entrepreneurship. The results of data analysis and discussion can be concluded that from the development of e-commerce teaching materials validation of material experts, media experts and peers shows that products in the excellent category are appropriate to use. Small group product trials obtained an ideal percentage of 85.2% and were categorized very well. The results of the analysis of increasing entrepreneurial skills from the use of e-commerce teaching materials obtained an N-Gain value of 0.45, indicating that e-commerce development to improve entrepreneurship capacity is effective and appropriate for use in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to explain how the effect of the use of logic gates flipbook using livewire against logical thinking ability of students. The research subjects were informatics engineering students who took digital circuit courses in semester 6 of 2018/2019. The research design was pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest type. From the results of simple regression data using SPSS that is obtained p Value Sig. 0,000 <0,05, which means that the use of flipbook logic gates using livewire has an effect on the ability to think logically in informatics engineering students. The percentage 64.5% of logical thinking ability is influenced by the use of flipbook material for livewire logic gate assistance. The simple regression equation as follows Y = = -81,776 + 18,503x, that?s means the flipbook using livewire in logical gate material has a positive influence on students' logical thinking abilities.

Abstract

The characteristics of  Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) related to change of reflection power and wavelength shift in the fiber optic due to changes in temperature. Furthermore, the refractive index alo  affects the sensitivity of FBG. Using the Coupled-mode theory, the derivation of mathematical formula can be found to justify the effect of temperature in FBG. Also, the Coupled-mode theory is integrated numerically by the Transfer Matrix method to achieve the final equation of the effect of temperature in FBG. To obtain optimal results, several different parameter values are given to be analyzed. The results show that the temperatures are affecting the wavelength but have no effect on the peak of reflection power. In addition, by increasing the temperature and value of the refractive index will affect the enhancement of the sensitivity of FBG. These characteristics are a good opportunity to produce filters, sensors, or other applications by utilizing the characteristics of temperature in FBG.

Abstract

Media Learning Management System (LMS) menjadi hal favorit untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Google Classroom merupakan bagian dari Media Learning Management System (LMS). Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar mahasiswa informatika dalam penggunaan Google Clasroom berbasis mobile dalam pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pre-experimental dengan desain one-shoot case study. Analisis pengaruh menggunakan One Sample T Test dengan SPSS 16. Hasil didapatkan nilai sig. (two-tailed) 0,001 yang artinya nilai Sig. < 0,05. Sesuai dengan hipotesis H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, menujukan bahwa ada pengaruh penggunaan google classroom bebasis mobile terhadap motivasi belajar.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the impact of online learning using Google Meet based on Android Mobile on the learning interest of informatics students. This research uses quantitative descriptive by describing the data on student interest and response during learning using Google Meet based on Android Mobile and the results of the analysis using linear regression analysis to make conclusions. Research Results The use of Google Meet based on Android Mobile has an impact on learning interest in conditions of online learning. Then the percentage of influence on the use of Google Meet based on Android Mobile in interest in learning is 51.9%. The response also showed a percentage of 71% had good criteria to receive as learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

Transformer life can be reduced due to several things. One of the causes of reduced age is loading. Loading causes an increase in the temperature of the transformer. The aging of this insulation is so fast if the insulation operates in temperatures that exceed the permissible limits, namely at a Hot Spot temperature of 98°C. If a transformer experiences a Hot Spot temperature of 98°C, then its life shrinkage will be so fast that it can reduce the expected life of the transformer. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research to describe the effects of loading on the transformer. From the results of the study, the percentage of unbalance transformer loads with 100 kVA and 200 kVA TRAFINDO brands did not meet the standards because the percentage value was more than 20%. The results of the analysis of the calculation of life loss and the remaining life of all transformers that are burdened above 80% are still normal or have little effect on the life of the transformer and the estimated remaining life is still above 20 years. So, all transformers operating at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Bumiayu is still by the standard.

Abstract

The grounding system is direct protection against instrumentality and human. The grounding process is carried out using the principle of creating a path for the fault current to the ground and making the equipment have a potential that is close to the value of the ground potential. The supply of a grounding system should be supported by the grounding resistance worth needed by PUIL, which is below 5 Ohm. To maintain the value of grounding resistance, it is necessary to check each 6 months in step with the standards of PUIL. The grounding test was carried out using an earth tester. In the analysis of the 7 grounding points of the PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Bumiayu concluded that there are 4 grounding points that have met PUIL standards because the value of their grounding resistance is below 5 Ohm. Meanwhile, the other 3 points haven't met PUIL standards because they are worth more than 5 Ohm

Abstract

Electric energy is a very important energy because it is used by good people for housing, offices, business, and industry. As many as 75.7 million PLN customers in Indonesia with the use of electrical equipment, and the development of the modern era, especially in the covid-19 pandemic as it is today, led to the emergence of violations aimed at circumventing the use of electricity so that the bills do not soar. To solve this problem, PLN has P2TL (Electricity Usage Control) activities aimed at suppressing non-technical shrinkage and avoiding customer fraud. The result of this study is that it can classify the type of violations on electricity users during the Covid-19 Pandemic precisely in August 2020, calculated as many as 93 Electricity Customers in PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Bumiayu, with Violations of Class I / K2 as many as 89 Customers, Violations of Class II as much as 1 Customer, and Violations of Class IV as many as III Customers. Violators of electricity users are sanctioned in the form of follow-up bills that are adjusted based on the type of group.
