Abstract

This study is development research, which aims at producing guided inquiry-based IPA (Natural Sciences) learning tools in energy and life system subject which is valid, practical, and effective, discovering the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of guided inquiry-based IPA learning tools in energy and life system subject developed. The development of learning tools employed Thiagarajan (Four-D) model which consists of four stages, namely defining, design, development, and dissemination. The test of learning tools was conducted to the students of grade VII.1 at SMPN 36 Makassar of academic year 2018/2019. Data collecting employed observation sheet and questionnaire. The data were then analyzed by using descriptive analysis technique. The products produce in this study are the lesson plan (RPP), student’s worksheet (LKPD), and student’s textbook (BAPD). The results of the validation on the learning tools developed, it is obtained the mean score based on the assessors which met the valid criteria and all of the components of learning tools are valued as reliable. The result of the field test on the practicality of learning tools developed shows that there is consistency between the result of experts’ perceptions and observers’, which is both gave high criteria or good. The learning tools are also effective to be applied because the result of the field test indicates that there is consistency between the result of experts’ perceptions and observers’. The result of experts perceptions gave the effectiveness result with high criteria or good. The result of observation on four indicators of effective criteria were all met.

Abstract

Metode pengawetan telur diperlukan untuk meningkatkam daya simpan dan menjaga mutu telur. Mutu (kualitas) telur akan menurun selama disimpan. Salah satu metode pengawetan telur yang sederhana adalah pelapisan eggshell atau sering disebut kerabang atau cangkang telur, menggunakan extrak tumbuhan dengan kandungan antibakteri dan antioksidan. Penelitian bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh pelapisan eggshell menggunakan extrak tumbuhan selama disimpan pada temperatur rendah terhadap indeks albumen, indeks yolk dan kedalaman kantung udara. Metode penelitian yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Pelapisan eggshell terdiri dari kontrol, sereh daun jeruk dan daun pandan. Telur ayam disimpan selama 35 hari dalam refrigerator. Data pengamatan dianalisis dengan ANOVA satu arah kemudian uji lanjut Duncan pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian yaitu metode pelapisan eggshell dengan extrak tumbuhan berpengaruh nyata terhadap mutu telur. Pelapisan eggshell menghasilkan nilai indeks albumen mutu III, indeks yolk mutu III dan kedalaman kantung udara mutu I setelah disimpan 35 hari. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah pelapisan eggshell dengan sereh dapat menjaga mutu telur paling baik dengan nilai indeks albumen, indeks yolk dan kedalaman kantung udara lebih rendah selama disimpan pada temperatur rendah 35 hari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether green accounting and environmental costs affect the financial performance of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2021 to 2023. This research uses a purposive sampling technique, thus the secondary data utilized is based on specific criteria obtained from the annual reports and sustainability reports. A total of 66 samples (consisting of 22 companies) over three (3) years were used and analyzed using the Statistical Program for Social Science version 29 software. The data analysis employed includes descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The independent variables include green accounting, measured using the dummy variable PROPER, and environmental cost, measured by the allocation of funds for community development programs against profit. The dependent variable is financial performance, measured by return on assets. The results indicate that green accounting does not significantly affect financial performance, whereas environmental cost has a negative impact on financial performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan bagaimana kode etik pustakawan sebagai aturan profesional bagi profesi pustakawan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kajian literatur (Library Research) dari berbagai sumber terpercaya melalui buku, jurnal dan sumber tertulis lainnya yang mendukung pembahasan isi artikel penelitian ini. Hasil pembahasan ini  bahwa kode etik pustakawan harus dipahami oleh anggota profesi, agar anggota profesi pustakawan dalam melaksanakan tugas selalu bersikap ramah, sopan santun dan suka menolong kepada pengguna, teman sejawat, anggota profesi yang lain dan masyarakat. Dengan isi yang terkandung didalam kode etik pustakawan diharapkan agar para anggota pustakawan dapat melaksanakan  aturan yang tertulis dalam kode etik pustakawan dan mempraktikkan dalam melaksanakan tugas.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the program of activities at the Ridha Community Reading Center (TBM) and ways to educate the Asahan community by making people like reading and improving the quality of reading interest in Teladan Village, Kisaran Regency. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. In the data analysis section using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this study used source triangulation, time triangulation, and method triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the Ridha Community Reading Center (TBM) activity program in the exemplary urban village of the Asahan district can attract the public's attention by creating various programs, while the activity programs provided by Ridha's TBM to attract the public's attention are: 1). reading corner; 2). library cart; 3). reading taxis and smart stalls; 4). Declaration of literacy village; 5). Workshops; 6). Storytelling; 7). Dancing the Gubang dance; 8). white swallow martial arts; 9). Poetry reading and poetry reading competitions; 10). Traditional game practice; 11). Social inclusion (learning to make savory banana chips and roll cakes); 12). Aerobic Gymnastics and 13). TBM Ridha Studio. An activity program that makes the Asahan community gain knowledge and very useful learning.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani Gembala Jaya adalah kelompok tani yang mata pencaharian utamanya adalah sebagai petani. Kelompok tani ini juga memiliki usaha sampingan yaitu usaha ternak kambing. Secara prinsip kelompok tani ini telah menerapkan pertanian terpadu yaitu dengan memanfaatkan pupuk kandang yang dihasilkan ternak sebagai pupuk di lahan pertanian. Masalah  prioritas pada Kelompok Tani Gembala Jaya adalah kekurangan pupuk kandang yang disebabkan lambatnya proses dekomposer dan belum tepatnya penanganan limbah pupuk kandang ternak kambing yang dimilikinya sehingga perlu disuplai dari luar Desa Karang Jaya. Solusi untuk permasalahan tersebut diantaranya : 1) Melakukan sosialisasi tentang penanganan limbah peternakan yang baik, 2) Melakukan sosialisasi tentang manfaat pembuatan dekomposer  berupa bioaktivator berbasis isi rumen, dan 3) Melakukan pendampingan pelatihan pembuatan bioaktivator berbasis isi rumen sebagai dekomposer limbah ternak yang dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk tanaman. Pelatihan ini juga bermanfaat bagi kelompok tani ternak untuk bisa mengolah limbah peternakan sehingga meminimalisir pencemaran lingkunga serta peningkatan pengetahuan mereka, sehingga dengan kegiatan in ada peningkatan pengetahuan terkait dengan penggunaan teknologi terbarukan. Mitra sasaran untuk kegiatan ini adalah Kelompok Tani yang berjumlah 15 orang. Tahapan kegiatan dimulai dengan melakukan kegiatan sosialisasi tentang pengolahan limbah peternakan terutama feses kambing, dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan pembuatan bioktivator berbasis isi rumen. Dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok tani tentang pembuatan bioaktivator sebagai starter pengolah limbah peternakan.

Abstract

Yogyakarta is a province that has many features, both cultural and natural. One of the factors driving the economic growth of a region is the agricultural sector, which can be a promising opportunity, apart from being a producer of economic growth it can also have the opportunity to be a driver of growth in other development sectors in an area. One of them is the expansion of the agro-tourism business from Bolu hamlet, Seyegan sub-district, Yogyakarta, which will empower the younger generation, especially youth organizations, as managerial actors in tourism villages. Improving financial management skills for the community, especially in agro-tourism villages, is one of the solutions to existing problems. Through this community service activity, it is hoped that the community, especially youth organizations, will understand the concept and meaning of a cash book, namely a financial journal that contains notes on cash receipts and payments, and understand the benefits of a cash book, namely being able to know the financial condition of a business based on detailed and consistent recording. , as well as a reference to see which part of the business can be the biggest sales driver or discover what causes the biggest expenses. The result of this community service activity is to add insight to the community, especially youth organizations about the bookkeeping system, recording daily transactions so that the business being carried out can provide the expected benefits.

Abstract

Kenaikan harga BBM di tengah masyarakat banyak menuai pendapat pro dan kontra. Hal tersebut membuat statement masyarakat atas kebijakan pemerintah tersebut harus sesuai dengan keaadaan di lapangan. Terlepas dari penyebab kenaikan harga BBM harus menyesuaikan harga minyak dunia. twitter merupakan salah satu platform favorit yang digunakan masyarakat dalam berinteraksi terutama dalam menyampaikan pendapat, aspirasi dan berdiskusi mengenai pembahasan tertentu. Analisis sentimen merupakan penelitian yang berkaitan dengan suatu masalah menimbulkan persepsi pada masalahnya. Bertujuan mengklasifikasi teks dalam mengkategorikan positif atau negatif. Peneltian ini menggunakan algoritma naive bayes dengan dataset pada penelitian ini sebanyak 4239 data yang berasal dari twitter. Melalui proses tahap processing berkurang menjadi 2312 dataset yang akan di labelkan manual menghasilkan 1014 positif, 920 Netral, dan 384 Negatif. Dalam penelitian menghasilkan dataset prediksi yang berjumlah 1210 positif 813 Netral dan 294 Negatif. Untuk melihat kinerja parameter pembagian data menggunakan 2 skema dan skema yakni, 463 Data Latih, dan 1855 Data Uji sedangkan skema kedua, 811 Data Latih, 1507 Data Uji. Hasil tahapan evaluasi akurasi pembagian data menghasilkan sama untuk dataset manual 92% sedangkan dataset prediksi 72%. untuk pengukuran dataset manual presisi 88%, recall 95% dan 89% f1-score sedangkan untuk dataset prediksi menghasilkan 54% presisi, 85% recall, dan 53% f1-score.

Abstract

Background. Student mental health has become a significant concern in education, especially given the increasing academic and social pressures they face. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques effectively reduce stress and improve mental well-being in various populations. However, their application in educational settings is still relatively new and requires further research to understand their impact. Purpose. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of MBSR techniques in improving students’ mental health and learning ability in educational environments. A key focus was to measure changes in stress levels, emotional well-being, and academic performance before and after the MBSR intervention. Method. This study used an experimental design with a control group. The study sample consisted of 100 high school students divided into two groups: an intervention group that received MBSR sessions for eight weeks and a control group that did not receive an intervention. Data were collected using stress scale questionnaires, emotional well-being scales, and academic performance records before and after the intervention. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical techniques and independent t-tests to compare results between the two groups. Results. The results showed that students who attended the MBSR program experienced a significant reduction in stress levels and improved emotional well-being compared to the control group. In addition, the student’s academic performance in the intervention group also showed better improvement than the control group, although this improvement was not statistically significant. Conclusion. This study concludes that MBSR techniques effectively reduce stress and improve students’ emotional well-being in educational settings. Although the improvement in academic performance was not statistically significant, these findings point to the potential of MBSR as a beneficial approach to improving students’ mental health and learning ability. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of MBSR and the optimization of its application in educational contexts.

Abstract

Chicken eggs will experience a decrease in quality during storage. Egg preservation methods are needed to maintain egg quality and extend shelf life. This research evaluated the effect of coating egg shells using herbal solutions during storage on egg white index, egg yolk index, egg white pH, egg yolk pH and air sac depth. The research method used a completely randomised design with 2 treatment factors and 4 replications. The first treatment factor was eggshell coating consisting of 4 levels, namely control, lemongrass solution, kaffir lime leaf solution and pandan leaf solution. The second treatment factor is storage time, which consists of 5 levels, namely 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 days. Data were analysed using ANOVA with Tukey's advanced test at a significance level 0.05. The research showed that the eggshell coating method using herbal ingredients and cold storage maintained the physical quality of purebred chicken eggs during 20 days of storage compared to the control treatment at room temperature. Coating herbal ingredients using lemongrass solution is the best herbal ingredient with the lowest egg white index, egg yolk index, egg white pH, egg yolk pH and air sac depth.
