Abstract

The MICE industry is a driving force for the creative industry, through meeting activities, Incentive Tours, Conferences and Exhibitions can be the initial capital to encourage creative thinking in formulating concepts and so on. Of the many MICE potentials that exist in Cirebon City, there are several obstacles faced by the MICE industry, including: 1) Event creativity is still minimal, 2) Budgeting and marketing strategies are not yet optimal including MICE promotion, 3) Lack of socialization of MICE activities. 4) There is no development strategy planned by the government that can indicate the direction to be taken in the development of the MICE Industry, 5) Lack of human resource education (HR); 6) Weak transport, capital and tax policies; 7) Lack of research on MICE. This study aims to determine the application of the Penta Helix concept in the development of creativity and innovation in the MICE industry in Cirebon city. Data collection in this study took from primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from observations and informants related to those managing the tourism sector and the Creative Economy in Cirebon City, especially the MICE Industry. Primary data was obtained using three data collection techniques, namely (1) observation; (2) In-depth interviews (Indept interview); and finally (3) Library Studies. While secondary data can be obtained from collecting data sourced from the library, policy studies and government institutions. All data obtained will be analyzed in three stages, namely data reduction, data display/presentation of data and conclusion.

Abstract

Sukomulyo Village, a village around Borobudur's Super Priority Tourism Destination, wants to develop into a tourist destination. The correct form of tourist destination is to become a tourist village. Efforts to become a tourist village are certainly a challenging thing. It is necessary to conduct research first to find out the village's potential so that it can declare it to be a tourist village because it has adequate facilities. To achieve the goal, cooperation efforts are needed between the village government and the villagers to create synergy in understanding. In addition, it is necessary to explore the potential of Sukomulyo village to determine its readiness to become a tourist village. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods through field observations and interview discussions. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of Sukomulyo village to become a new tourist village around the Super Priority Tourism Destination of Borobudur and produce tour packages. The results of this study show that the potential of Sukomulyo village can be designed as a strategy to become a tourist village to attract potential tourists.

Abstract

Digital marketing has had a long-term impact and made a game changer in the business world. The use of social media has been growing since 2020—the phenomenon of decreasing the number of followers harms sales. Seller is conscious about improving and maintaining their followers on social media to keep running the business well. Purpose to find out the extent of the participation of Instagram social media as a promotional medium to increase the marketing of culinary business products on @siomayjodoh's Instagram accounts. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interview, and documentation. Data triangulation methods were used to analyze in this study through data reduction, data presentation, drawing, and conclusion. The results showed the use of Instagram social media as an attractive promotional medium with various features that can be used to support the increase in culinary business products in online marketing. This research only collected data on MSME's “Siomay Jodoh" Instagram from 2022 until 2024 as data collection. MSMEs “Siomay Jodoh” is a local business in Cirebon, and there's no previous research about the MSMEs “Siomay Jodoh”.

Abstract

In the business world, having a good image is undoubtedly something that needs to be considered. This good image can be a way of income, especially for Plaza Hotel Semarang. Unfortunately, problems have arisen in the past and dragged on until now. This study aims to determine the public relations strategy to create and maintain a positive image of Plaza Hotel Semarang. The research method used to obtain quality data is through interviews and literature studies on related issues. The result is that Plaza Hotel Semarang has begun to design a new strategy to change its image among the wider community. However, some internal problems require special attention to be addressed first, especially in human resources. The researcher also listed several related inputs that are constructive and can be implemented appropriately for Plaza Hotel Semarang.

Abstract

The fact that marketing continues to evolve towards digital dynamics, E-WoM is present as a key element in the latest marketing strategies. This study will provide a brief overview of E-WoM as a natural form of marketing carried out by consumers and how optimized marketing strategies can benefit from it. The study focuses on studying the impact of the spread of E-WoM on consumer visiting interest and aims to examine the role and impact of E-WoM management on consumers. The qualitative approach is carried out by the author with case studies, field studies, to literature studies assisted by documentation and interview methods. The data analysis model is drawn conclusions with a data triangulation model. In the process of using social media, berkah jaya bake house seems to rarely post pictures, but still has high polularity due to the influence of E-WoM. Planning for the reconstruction of the E-WoM marketing strategy is carried out at the locus of "Berkah Jaya Bake House", especially through social media accounts.

Abstract

Event management is the application of project management that is specifically engaged in the process of making and developing personal events or group events, associations, formal agencies and informal agencies with varying scales. In event management, there is time management, management, and human resources (HR) involved, resulting in a function that is responsible for planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating elements. In supporting learning on campus, students are required to carry out an event commonly called Entrance of Portal to Hospitable International Competitions & Seminars (EPHICS). The event is an application of the theory learned in class. As a form of student creativity in realizing the management of Event Management in the Hospitality Sector. The implementation of the EPHICS 2.0 program is the result of the collaboration of students of the D4 Convention & Event Management Study Program together with D4 Hospitality Management through recruitment activities as a support in the concept of study program collaboration, with the involvement of students who play the role of organizers directly at the EPHICS 2.0 event, a forum is created as a place for creativity that has the potential to get a lot of attention from the community. Abstract

The current Kacirebonan Palace still exists and continues to make changes along with the development of tourism, making the Kacirebonan Palace one of the attractions of tourist destinations that travelers or tourists must visit. Therefore, tourism activities must be prepared homestay facilities for tourists who come to the Kacirebonan Palace. The research method that will be used includes observation, interviews, and also documentation to find out how community participation in homestay development at the Kacirebonan Palace in implementing and implementing using the criteria recommended in the ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan (ATSP): 2011-2015 homestay building. The results of the data collection will be descriptive and qualitative. Based on ASEAN Tourism Strategic Plan (ATSP) criteria: 2011-2015 homestay building. The Kacirebona Palace community can develop homestays as tourism products at the Kacirebonan Palace.

Abstract

Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi terdapat di Kecamatan Cisolok Kabupaten Sukabumi, dimana memiliki potensi obyek dan daya tarik wisata yang dapat menjadi peluang dalam kegiatan pariwisata dan dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang tradisi Tatali Paranti Karuhun dan mengidentifikasi kegiatan apa saja yang membuat Kearifan lokal di Kampung adat Sirnaresmi menjadi sebuah daya tarik wisata  Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui profil sosial, ekonomi dan budaya di Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi dalam menggali potensi yang terdapat dimasyarakat. Penelitian ini akan menghasilkan potensi-potensi obyek dan daya tarik wisata yang terdapat di Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi melalui observasi dan survey, wawancara termasuk juga akan menghasilkan profil sosial, ekonomi dan budaya masyarakat Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi melalui studi dokumentasi dan wawancara. Kegiatan wawancara untuk mempeproleh data dilakukan dengan sesepuh adat (Abah Gede) Kampung Adat, tokoh masyarakat serta masyarakat yang ada di Kampung Adat yang telah ditentukan oleh peneliti berdasarkan purposive random sampling. Hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi akan dianalisis dengan analisis kualitatif deskriptif.  untuk melihat peluang pariwisata yang terdapat di Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi berdasarkan faktor pendorong dilihat dari aspek fisik, sosial, bidaya dan arsitektur bangunan. Serta atraksi apa saja yang sudah berjalan di kapung adat sirnaresmi. Peluang-peluang pariwisata yang terdapat di Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi diharapakan dapat berkontribusi terhadap pemberdayaan masyarakat sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat Kampung Adat Sirnaresmi dan juga sebagai pendukung pariwisata berbasis masyarakat (community based tourism/CBT) bagi kabupaten Sukabumi.
