Abstract

Business analytics plays an important role in optimizing the management of product marketing strategies. One of the most popular analytical tools in business analytics is sales forecasting. Businesses need to conduct sales forecasting to optimize marketing management in the form of product availability predictions, predictions of capital adequacy, consumer interest, and product price governance. However, the problem that is often encountered in forecasting is the number of forecasting methods available so that it makes it difficult for business people to choose the best forecasting method. The aims of this research is to develop a forecasting software tha can be accessed online based on computational intelligence, which is a software that can make forececasting with various methods and then intelligently choose the best forecasting method. The software development method used in this study is the SDLC with waterfall model. The result of this research is the Auto sales forecasting software was developed using the R programming language by combining various package and can be accessed online through the page Http://bakrizal.com/AutoSalesForecasting. This software can be used to conduct forecast analysis with various methods such as Simple Moving Average, Robust Exponential Smoothing, Auto ARIMA, Artificial Neural Network, Holt-Winters, and Hybrid Forecast. This software contains intelligence computing to choose the best forecasting method based on the smallest RMSE value. After testing the sales transaction data at the Futry Bakery & Cake Shop in Makassar, the results show that the Robust Exponantial Smoothing method is the best forecasting method with an RMSE value of 0.829

Abstract

The aims of this study is to apply the Auto Sales Forecasting software to predict sales transaction data. The Auto Sales Forecasting software consists of two main features namely descriptive analysis and forcasting features along with its visualization. Forecasting methods contained in the Auto Sales Forecasting application are forecasting methods of Simple Moving Average, Robust Exponantial Smoothing, Auto ARIMA, Artificial Neural Network, Holt-Winters, and Hybrid Forecast. The Auto Sales Forecasting software can intelligently choose the best forecasting method based on RMSE values. The results showed that the Auto Sales Forecasting software successfully analyzed the sales transaction data. From the analysis it was found that there were 43 types of products produced and sold by the Futry Bakery & Cake Store. Three of them are the types of products that are most in demand by consumers, namely Sweet Bread, Maros Bread, and Traditional Cakes 3500. The best selling product type, Sweet Bread, is used to build forecasting models. The best forecasting method is the Robust Exponential Smoothing method with the smallest RMSE value of 0.83 on the variable number of sold out products. Forecasting results using the Robust Exponantial Smoothing method show that the average number of products to sell for the next seven days ranges from 116 products with a certain confidence interval value.

Abstract

Pembangunan kapasitas sumberdaya manusia memiliki peran penting dalam pengembangan organisasi. Keberhasilan suatu lembaga atau organisasi sangat tergantung pada sumber daya manusia yang mengelolanya. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia bertujuan untuk dapat memeperbaiki kinerja karyawan. Selain itu tujuan diselenggarakan pengembangan sumber daya manusia aparatur untuk membekali, meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi kerja guna meningkatkan kemampuan, produktivitas dan kesejahteraan. Balai Riset Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau dan Penyuluhan Perikanan, yang selanjutnya disingkat BRPBAP3, merupakan Unit Pelaksana Teknis Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan di bidang riset perikanan budidaya air payau dan penyuluhan perikanan, yang berada di bawah dan bertanggung jawab kepada kepala badan yang menangani riset kelautan dan perikanan serta pengembangan sumber daya manusia kelautan dan perikanan.Kendala yang dihadapi peneliti dilingkup ini masih minimnya pemahaman alat-alat analisis dalam mengelola data. Peningkatan sumber daya manusia BRPBAP3 dilakukan dengan memberikan kesempatan bagi peneliti untuk mengikuti berbagai pelatihan yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan Sumber Daya Manusia di lingkup Balai Riset Perikanan Budidaya Air Payau dan Penyuluhan Perikanan, dilaksanakan pelatihan Pengolahan data statistik pada tanggal 7 Januari 2019 Pelatihan tersebut diikuti oleh para peneliti.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan mengolah data statistik menggunakan software R Studio. R Studio merupakan software Statistika yang populer, lengkap, dan berlisensi gratis sehingga peneliti dapat terhindar dari tuntutan hukum saat mengolah dan menganalisis data. Software ini memiliki visualisasi grafik yang lebih canggih dibandingkan software statistika lainnya. Selain itu, R Studio juga dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan aplikasi berbasis desktop maupun website. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi langsung dipraktekkan oleh peserta, serta tanya jawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menyampaikan pengetahuan secara umum tentang manfaat statistika dalam olah data, teori dasar statistik, dan pengenalan software. Demonstrasi digunakan untuk memberikan keterampilan langsung mengenai teknik-teknik olah data dengan berbagai kasus penelitian. Tanya jawab digunakan untuk melengkapi hal-hal yang belum terakomodasi oleh kedua metode di atas. Pelatihan ini melibatkan seluruh tingkat akademisi Kota Makassar yang terdiri dari Dosen, Peneliti, Karyawan, dan Mahasiswa. Hasil pelatihan olah data statistik dapat dinyatakan berhasil. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari: (1) Kehadiran peserta sesuai dengan terget yaitu 82% (82 dari 100 Peseerta) (2) Hasil pelatihan dinyatakan sangat baik yang ditandai dengan banyaknya peserta yang paham dan beberapa dosen mengajak kerjasama untuk melakukan pelatihan di instansinya (3) Peserta sangat antusias mengikuti pelatihan yang dilihat dari keseriusan mengikuti pelatihan dan banyaknya peserta yang melakukan konsultasi setelah pelatihan.

Abstract

LPPM/P3M adalah lembaga yang bertanggung jawab atas pengelolaan dan peningkatan riset dan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh sivitas akademika. Salah satu indikator penunjang kinerja riset yang terus ditingkatkan oleh LPPM/P3M adalah jurnal ilmiah. LPPM/P3M terus berupaya agar seluruh jurnal yang ada di Kampus mereka mampu meraih akareditasi dari DIKTI dan terindeks di database internasional besar seperti SCOPUS dan Thomson Reuters. Sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pengelolaan jurnal di lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi Swasta, LPPM/P3M akan mengadakan workshop bertajuk “Manajemen Tata Kelola Jurnal dan Pelatihan Penggunaan OJS Versi 3” untuk menyiapkan jurnal-jurnal akreditasi nasional dan selanjutnya terindeks dalam database internasional pada Tiga Perguruan Tinggi Swasta yang menjadi objek pengabdian yaitu STIEM Bongaya, STKIP Muhammadiyah Bone, dan Universitas Atmajaya Makassar.

Abstract

Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Korwil Dikbud Kecamatan Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto yang mengkoordinir delapan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri. Permasalahan mitra adalah: (1) kurangnya pengetahuan tentang manfaat Teknologi Informasi yang berakaitan dengan Manajemen Data Digital dan (2) belum ada kerjasama antara Sekolah dengan Google Suite for Education. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada delapan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri di lokasi Mitra untuk melakukan perapian berkas melalui manajemen data digital di cloud menggunakan kerjasama dengan Google Suite for Education. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode hybrid learning yaitu: ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan mitra pendamping baik langsung maupun secara virtual. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki pengetahuan tentang manfaat Teknologi Informasi khususnya manajemen data digital dan (2) Delapan Sekolah mitra memiliki Drive Cloud bersama yang telah bekerjasama dengan Google Suite for Education.

Abstract

SWANSTAT is a user-friendly web application and free license that developed from the R programming language using shinydashboard Package. This research aims to create SWANSTAT was to streamline the routine workflow of data analysis so that users who are unfamiliar with R can perform the analysis interactively in a web browser with a cloud computing using a shiny server. The software development method used in this study is the SDLC with the waterfall model. The result of this research is the SWANSTAT software was developed using R by combining various packages and can be accessed online through various types of browsers on http://apps.swanstatistics.com. Besides, SWANSTAT consist of various features including the best visualization, the basis of statistical methods, help documents and tutorials. This research will continuously develop this application by enriching the latest statistical method, as well as improving the quality of features for data science needs.

Abstract

This study aims to measure student satisfaction with online learning services provided by teachers using Microsoft Teams during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this research is the Customer Satisfaction Index (SCI) method with attribute measurement of satisfaction using the Servqual method which consists of five dimensions of education services. Furthermore, to see the priority scale on these attributes, the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is used. The results showed that SCI values ​​for the five service dimensions, namely Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Learning Quality obtained the criteria of Very Satisfied. While the priority analysis produces attribute mapping that can be used by teachers to improve the learning process.

Abstract

In general, solving the two-fold integral of trigonometric functions is not easy to do analytically. Therefore, we need a numerical method to get the solution. Numerical methods can only provide solutions that approach true value. Thus, a numerical solution is also called a close solution. However, we can determine the difference between the two (errors) as small as possible. Numerical settlement is done by consecutive estimates (iteration method). The numerical method used in this study is the Romberg method. Romberg's integration method is based on Richardson's extrapolation expansion, so that there is a calculation of the integration of functions in two estimating ways I (h1) and I (h2) resulting in an error order on the result of the completion increasing by two, so it needs to be reviewed briefly about how the accuracy of the method. The results of this study indicate that the level of accuracy of the Romberg method to the analytical method (exact) will give the same value, after being used in several simulations.

Abstract

One of the large real time data storage sectors is in the marketing sector in the form of sales transactions, prices, and availability of goods stored in databases in certain supermarkets.The amount of supermarkets with the digital cash register system allow storing sales transaction data. Therefore this research aims to designed an application that contains two statistical analysis methods, namely Market Basket Analysis and Sales Forecasting using shiny dashboard package in Market Basket Analysis Menu shows various features that can facilitate businessactors in optimizing product layout in a store shelves i.e. summary products, rules table, scatter plot, graph, matrix and grouphed, and Parallel coordinats. While the sales forecasting menu shows various features i.e. a description of the number of stock items, the number of items sold, capital, profit, the highest frequency of goods sold, and the value of parameter predictions for the next periods.
