Abstract

This paper describes the social and cultural situation of Pematang Gubernur Village, Muara Bangka Hulu Sub-district, Bengkulu City. Formerly, this area belongs to Suku Lembak who lived in Tanjung Agung and Tanjung Jaya village. The population of Pematang Gubernur has increased along with the establishment of Bengkulu University housing and the relocation of government office of Bengkulu City to Muara Bangka Hulu Sub-district. Based on the sociological analysis, Suku Lembak becomes a minority group in their own territory and as a minority, they are no longer able to carry out their customs and traditions, in contrast, the migrants that have become majority group, in fact, can apply their traditions and rituals from their origin. This research found that the social structure of Pematang Gubernur Village is seeking its ideal format. The community of the village is diverse and live in different groups based on housing complex and kampong. This makes the community divided and trapped in the situation in which the interaction between groups is limited. This also makes the community of Padang Gubernur has a narrow perspective in understanding poverty by seeing it as merely a problem of success and failure in pursuing the career and business of their neighbors. They also have narrow self-orientation and non-competitive capacities.

Abstract

Abstract: The research aimed to describe: (1) the tendency of preference career interest, (2) Personality types, (3) profile of the preference of career interest based on personality type, and (4) to test the correlation betweenthe career interest and the personality variable.the research used quantitative descriptive method. The subjects in this research were 108 students of class X IPA and IPS senior high school in Bengkulu City. The data collected using the inventory career interest inventory and personality type. The results of this reaserch are the students have different type of personality and career interests. The selection of students career interests of class XI senior high school is accordance with the type of personality of students, and there is a very high correlation between the type of personality with career interests of students. It is shown from the results of obtain hypothesis test P=0,00 then p<0,05, it is conclude there was a significant correlation between personality type with career interests.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the planning of clinical supervision program, stages of clinical supervision implementation, and supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of clinical supervision in early childhood IT Auladuna Bengkulu City. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Techniques of collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques use interactive models, including: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Examination of data in this research is done by triangulation of data. The results showed (1) Implementation of principal clinical supervision begins with planning of clinical supervision program and make schedule of supervision. (2) The implementation of clinical supervision is carried out with the initial planning stage, the class observation stage, the reverse meeting stage (reverse discussion). (3) Supporting factors for the implementation of clinical supervision: a) to help overcome the learning problems faced by teachers, b) improve teacher's teaching ability, c) the supervision program created by the principal. Inhibiting factors are: a) the time of clinical supervision has been established but there are other agendas in the school so the implementation should be canceled, b) usually the teacher will be in supervision feel tense so there must be good preparation so that later get good results, c) teachers sometimes feel less ready and disturbed because not yet accustomed supervised clinical.

Abstract

The research has aimed to describe efforts of the teacher to develop autonomy of early childhood at gugus Hiporbia Ratu Samban District of Bengkulu City. Method that has used in the research is descriptive quantitative. The research has used total sampling method, with 30 teachers at gugus Hiporbia Ratu Samban District as sample. The data has obtained by questioner, and analized used precentage.  Result of the research has shown that teacher’s efforts to develop autonomy of the early childhood at gugus Hiporbia Ratu Samban District of Bengkulu City was conducted by effort preventif (66%), effort development (29%), effort kuratif (5%). Based on these result it is recommended to teachers to develop the child’s autonomy with regard effort preventif and effort kuratif. Whereas for subsequent research can investigate more about effort preventif and kuratif in more depth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada masalah apakah jenis pola asuh orang tua yang diterapkan pada anak yang berperilaku agresif di salah satu TK di Bengkulu. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan jenis pola asuh orangtua yang diterapkan pada anak yang berperilaku agresif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif.  Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 16 orang tua dari anak yang berperilaku agresif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan enam orang tua dari anak yang berperilaku agresif cenderung menerapkan pola asuh demokratis, delapan orang tua dari anak yang berperilaku agresif menerapkan secara bergantian antara pola asuh otoriter, demokratis dan permisif, dan dua orang tua dari anak yang berperilaku agresif menerapkan secara bergantian antara pola asuh otoriter dan demokratis. Disarankan kepada peneliti berikutnya untuk diteliti lebih dalam mengapa orang tua dari anak yang berperilaku agresif cenderung menerapkan pola asuh yang bergantian antara otoriter, demokratis dan permisif.

Abstract

Problems in this research is whether through experiment method can improve the ability of science to know liquid object at group B5 TK Witri I of Bengkulu City? The purpose of this class action research is to increase the ability of science to know the liquid through the experimental method at group B5 TK Witri I of Bengkulu City. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The result of this research is through experiment method can improve the ability of science to know liquid objects. Evident from the average score of children's science skills in the first cycle reached an average grade of 3.53 with 70.6% classical completeness is on the enough criteria then in cycle II the average value of children reached 4.16 with classical completeness 83.2% is in good criteria. It is suggested for the next researcher to use experimental method in improving children's science skill especially predicting aspect. Key Words : The Science Abilities, Experiment Method, Soluble And Insoluble Objects.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between methods of habituation in learning with early childhood discipline in early childhood Al-Hidayah Kota Bengkulu. The method used is descriptive quantitative with correlation type. The subjects were 30 children consisting of 8 children of B1 group, 8 children of B2 group, 7 children of B3 group and 7 children of B4 group. Technique of collecting data using observation in the form of checklist. Data analysis using Product Moment Correlation. The result of this research is there is significant correlation between method of habituation in learning with discipline of child and seen from price Fhitung0,418 bigger than price Ftabel0,374 for significant level 5% (0,418 <0,374) so that Ha accepted and Ho rejected. Based on these results it is advisable to train early childhood discipline should teachers apply methods of habituation.Keywords: Method of Habituation in Learning, Discipline of Early Childhood

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improve children's speaking skill through guessing words games at B group of PAUD Lestari in Bengkulu Tengah. Speaking skill consists of pronunciation aspect, enriching vocabulary, and sentence building. This research was a classroom action research (CAR) and conducted in 2 cycles, there’re 3 meetings for each cycle. The subject of the research was 12 children, there were 3 boys and 9 girls. The technique of collecting data was gathered by using observation. In analyzing the data, the researcher used average formula and learning completeness. The result of this research showed that there were an increasing number for speaking skill in pronunciation aspect, enriching vocabulary, and sentence building. In cycle I reach enough criteria. In cycle II increased with good criteria. Therefore, it is suggested for further researchers to improve children‘s speaking skill in sentence building aspect through guessing words or other various games.
