Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the Personal Hygiene of students at the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City. This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach. The results of the univariate analysis obtained that the average score of personal hygiene behavior before being given health education was 42.17 and after health education was 61.20. In conclusion, there is an effect of health education on personal hygiene and on average before and after being given health education on personal hygiene behavior. Abstract

Quality, safe blood services are available on time, can be achieved if the service runs in a closed system, where the hospital no longer submits efforts to obtain transfusion blood to the patient's family, but the entire service mechanism is carried out by the officer. Researchers found that when blood was distributed, the treatment of the blood banks involved families of patients to distribute the blood.This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation with a checklist sheet. This research was conducted at Dr.M. Yunus Bengkulu Hospital Blood Bank. The informants in this study were seven people, namely the Head of Hospital Blood Bank, 3 Hospital Blood Bank Staff and three patients' families.The results of this study were the request and receipt of donor blood from UTD in Hospital Blood Bank, blood and blood component storage in Hospital Blood Bank, transfusion blood preparation in Hospital Blood Bank, pre transfusion examination in Hospital Blood Bank, distribution to the treatment room in Hospital Blood Bank, tracing transfusion reactions in Hospital Blood Bank and recording and reporting in Hospital Blood Bank in accordance with Minister of Health regulations No.91 of 2015.Advice given to Hospital Blood Bank’s Officers to meet blood service standards is by distributing closed cold chain systems and in accordance with Minister of Health regulations No.91 of 2015. Keywords: System, Service, Blood, Hospital, Bank

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in satisfaction of BPJS patients and general patients at the Betungan Health Center, Bengkulu City. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The results of the BPJS patient satisfaction study were 20 respondents (50%) were satisfied. General patient target as many as 21 respondents (52.5%) was satisfied. The results of statistical tests obtained p-value satisfaction of BPJS patients and general patients based on tangible dimensions <0.05 (p=0.025), reliability dimension (p=0.001), responsiveness dimension (p=0.001), assurance dimension (p=0.001) and empathy dimension (p=0.001). In conclusion, there are differences in the satisfaction of BPJS patients and general patients at the Betungan Health Center, Bengkulu City. Keywords: BPJS, General Patients

Abstract

Natural disasters are still a concern and problem in the world, including in Indonesia. Indonesia is a country that is prone to flooding, so it is very risky to cause material losses that can cost many lives. Tanjung Agung Village is one of the areas in Bengkulu City which continues to be flooded every year, even the frequency of flooding can be two to three times a year with inundation heights reaching one and a half meters from the ground. This community service is carried out for the residents of RT. 03 Tanjung Agung Village, Bengkulu City with activities including health education on preparedness to face flood disasters, simulation of flooding, mutual cooperation and tree planting. The results of the activity show that the community' s desire to start caring for the environment can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community in every series of activities ranging from health education, simulation, mutual cooperation and tree planting as an effort to minimize the risk of flood disasters during heavy rains. It can be concluded that this activity has a positive impact on supporting and increasing knowledge and increasing awareness of the RT community. 03 Tanjung Agung Village, Bengkulu City regarding the danger of flooding.

Abstract

Background: Puskesmas as First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) plays a vital role during the Covid-19 pandemic in preventing and controlling the number of Covid-19 cases by anticipating, detecting, responding to events. However, at this time, the puskesmas are still underutilized by the community. The highest confirmed positive cases in Bengkulu City were in the Gading Cempaka District, with 990 cases. This study aimed to determine the variables related to the utilization of puskesmas in Bengkulu City. Methods: This research was quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents using an accidental sampling technique executed in March-August 2021. The research population was the entire community of Bengkulu City, with a sample of 110 respondents from the Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City. Data were analyzed by univariate to multivariate logistic regression. Results: The results show that 88 respondents (78.2%) have utilized the puskesmas, as many as 86 (78.2%) were female, 86 respondents (60.9%) belonged to the young age group, respondents with higher education were 73 respondents ( 66.4%), 73 respondents (66.4%) worked and as many as 79 respondents (71.8%) have income <UMP. The bivariate analysis results showed that the factors related to the utilization of the puskesmas (p<0.05) were variables of age, education, occupation, and income despite no relationship between gender, distance, knowledge, and family support (p>α). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that education was the dominant factor influencing the utilization of the puskesmas with (p-value = 0.010; B = 2.707; 95% CI = 1.892-118.569). Conclusion: The community has taken advantage of the puskesmas in terms of preventing Covid-19. The utilization of puskesmas is affected by age and education level.

Abstract

The world has now been impacted by COVID-19. Indonesia has recently become one of the countries that have been affected by COVID-19 with the highest number of COVID-19 cases in Asia. As the incidence of COVID-19 increases rapidly, it is necessary to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 especially in a populous area or dorm area. This community service was implemented by lecturers and nursing students of the Department of Nursing, Muhammadiyah Bengkulu University. Some programs included a health education of COVID-19 which is manifested in training activities for making natural hand sanitizer derived from betel leaf and lime. This program has now been implemented by students in Panti Sosial Bina Netra of Bengkulu.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPemahaman tentang pencegahan covid 19 sangat diperlukan oleh anak panti. Anak panti asuhan Bintang trampil KotaB engkulu belum pernah mendapatkan edukasi tentang pencegahan covid 19. Edukasi melalui video sangat bermanfaat di masa pandemic covid 19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi media video belajar 5M (Memakaim asker, Mencuci tangan, Menjaga jarak, Menjauhi kerumunan dan Mengurangi mobilitas interaksi fisik) terhadapP engetahuan Covid-19 di Panti Asuhan Bintang Trampil Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian di laksanakan pada April sampai Mei 2021. Metode kuantitatif desain pre-eksperimental design on group prestest-posttest data menggunakan uji PairedSamples T Test. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 30 orang sampel diambil dari total populasi. Hasil Penelitianm emperlihatkan bahwa rata-rata skor pengetahuan sebelum di berikan media video belajar 5M yaitu 88,73 dan setelah dib erikan media video belajar 5M yaitu 93,07. Ada pengaruh edukasi melalui media video dengan pengetahuan (p-Value0 ,005). Pendidikan kesehatan melalui video sangat perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak panti.S ebaiknya panti membuat penjadwalan khusus dalam memberikan edukasi protocol kesehatan pada anak panti selamap andemic covid 19.Kata Kunci : Edukasi, protokol kesehatan, pengetahuan

Abstract

Bertambahnya Rumah sakit di Bengkulu dapat menyebabkan persaingan semakin ketat. Jumlah pasien rawat jalan dari tahun 2017 ke tahun 2018 mengalami kenaikkan sebesar 8,6%. Keberhasilan dari RSUD Dr. M. Yunus tidak lepas dari kombinasi bauran pemasaran 4P, Product, Price Place, dan Promotion. Jenis penelitian Cross Sectional dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Provinsi Bengkulu pada bulan Juli -Agustus 2019 Jumlah Sampel dalam penelitian adalah 166 pasien rawat jalan, teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan uji beda dua proposi. Analisi data dengan Uji Chi Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada hubungan bauran pemasaran dengan loyalitas pasien, dengan Product baik 78 (47%), kurang baik 88 (53,0%) Price baik 83 (50%), kurang baik 83 (50,0%), Place baik 77 (46%), kurang baik 89 (53,6%) dan Promotion baik 70 (42%), kurang baik 96 (57,8%). Disarankan kepada RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Provinsi Bengkulu, rutin melakukan promosi mengenai fasilitas yang disediakan rumah sakit sehingga pasien lebih mengetahui fasilitas yang terrsedia di RSUD Dr. M. Yunus. Meningkatkan kualitas dan kinerja karyawan, perawat, dan dokter sehingga pasien merasa puas dengan pelayanan yang diberikan.

Abstract

One of the strategies for early detection and monitoring of risk factors for Non-Infection Diseases (PTM) is the implementation of Posbindu PTM. Still included in the low category regarding the achievement of the total number of patients checking the basic and primary posbindu for non infection diseases (covering all posbindu activities) which is below the 50% target of 20.2%. This study aims to determine the perceptions of posbindu participants about the implementation of Posbindu for non infection diseases. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach in March-August 2020 through in-depth interviews with 5 informants and 3 triangulations using interview, observation and documentation guidelines. The research focuses on the perspectives of the Posbindu participants about the implementation of Posbindu for non infection diseases at public health center of in the Beringin Raya Bengkulu City.The results showed that the implementation of Posbindu used a 5-table system (registration, height measurement, weighing, recording by cadres then to the medical team for blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and uric acid checks, consultation by Posbindu officers and cadres was carried out once a month at residents' homes. The implementation has been running according to the public health center SOP. Service quality is generally good, but the community's enthusiasm is still low in participating in Posbindu, there are participants who are still afraid to have their health checked at Posbindu, there are things that are felt to be less than optimal in service where people feel less satisfied because only examination but no medicine, insufficient examination tools and the implementation of Posbindu held during working hours A referral system has been implemented if a participant is at risk of being asked to go to the puskesmas for treatment.Salah satu strategi untuk deteksi dini dan pemantauan faktor risiko Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) yaitu pelaksanaan Posbindu PTM. Masih termasuk katagori rendah mengenai capaian jumlah keseluruhan pasien melakukan pengecekan pada posbindu PTM dasar dan utama (meliputi semua kegiatan posbindu) yakni dibawah target 50% sebesar 20,2%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta posbindu tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan Posbindu PTM di wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Beringin Raya Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif pada Maret-Agustus 2020 melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 7 informan dan 3 triangulasi dengan menggunakan pedoman wawancara, pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Penelitian berfokus pada perspsi peserta posbindu tentang pelaksanaan kegiatan Posbindu PTM di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Beringin Raya Kota Bengkulu.Hasil Penelitian menunjukan Pelaksanaan Posbindu menggunakan sistem 5 meja (Pendaftaran, Tinggi badan, berat badan, pencatatan oleh kader selanjutnya pemeriksaan tekanan darah, gula darah, cek kolesterol, dan asam urat, konsultasi oleh petugas dan kader posbindu dilaksanakan satu bulan sekali di rumah warga. Pelaksanaan telah berjalan sesuai SOP Puskesmas. Kualitas pelayanan pada umumnya sudah baik, namun masih rendahnya antusias masyarakat mengikuti posbindu, ada peserta yang masih merasa takut memeriksakan kesehatannya ke posbindu, ada hal yang dirasakan masih kurang maksimal dalam pelayanan dimana masyarakat merasa kurang puas karena hanya pemeriksaan tapi tidak ada obat, alat pemeriksaan tidak cukup serta pelaksanaan posbindu diadakan pada jam kerja. Sistem rujukan telah dilakukan jika ada peserta yang berisiko akan disuruh pengobatan ke puskesmas. Diharapkan melakukan pendekatan langsung ke masyarakat dan kader sehingga mampu memberikan kesadaraan bahwa Posbindu ini adalah bagian dari pemantauan kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards Covid-19 prevention behavior at the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City. This research method is a quantitative research with cross sectional method. The results of the univariate analysis showed that 55.9% of students had good knowledge, 50.00% of students had an attitude of supporting Covid-19 prevention, and 55.9% of students behaved well in preventing Covid-19. The results of the chi-square test obtained that the p-value between knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 related to Covid-19 prevention was 0.539 and 1,000. In conclusion, there is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 prevention behavior at the Bengkulu City Pancasila Islamic Boarding School.
