Abstract

The salibu rice is a modification from ratoon rice system. The application of inorganic fertilizers can increase the salibu rice yield. This study aims to know the optimum dose of urea and NPK Phonska fertilizers to maximize the salibu rice yield. This experiment was a pot experiment arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with three replications. The first factor was the dose of urea fertilizer consisted of three levels, namely: 100, 200, and 300 kg ha-1. The second factor was the dose of NPK Phonska fertilizer which consisted of three levels, namely: 100, 200, and 300 kg ha-1. In the study, added one treatment as a control (without treatment). The results showed that urea and NPK Phonska could be increased leaf greenery, tillers number, canopy dry weight, and dry weight of grain per hectare. The optimum dose of urea fertilizer was found at 317.6 kg ha-1 and yielded a maximum grain dry weight of 4.96 tons ha-1, and the optimum dose of Phonska NPK fertilizer was obtained at 231.7 kg ha-1 and gave the maximum grain dry weight of 4.71 tons ha-1. The findings of the study indicate that the interval application of urea fertilizer has not reached the optimum dose, while the NPK Phonska fertilizer is found at 231.7 kg ha-1. In future research suggest that the application of urea fertilizer can be increased with doses higher than 300 kg ha-1 in the salibu rice cultivation.

Abstract

Both Math and English are the two subjects that most of students have difficulty on it. To understand Math requires logical thinking that most of students do not have. To understand English, in which the written and sound are different with our first language, requires habit to hear and write English a lot. Students need to be accustomed to using English on everyday activities. In fact, most of students tend to use Javanese or Indonesian to communicate to others. Teachers also get difficulties on motivating students to learn Math and English for the better future. Some students have struggled to learn them, but still, the results are not satisfying.Observing this phenomenon, as the lecturers of English and Math, we are trying to help the teachers on giving material with the different point of views. We introduced different approaches on giving exposure to students about Math and English. English will be taught by employing Podcast, math will be introduced by using Geogebra. It is expected that teachers and students will have another perspectives; we can say that the teachers may have another style of teaching and students will get additional learning styles.

Abstract

The present article aims to study the level of students’ satisfaction of PGRI Yogyakarta University towards service and facilities quality. To try and understand the factors which influence student satisfaction as well as consequences of it, this study test a weighted least squares model of student satisfaction. This study investigate determinant and dominant factors of the students’ satisfaction and its characteristics. The data were collected through a questionnaire administered to 160 students of PGRI Yogyakarta University to investigate their perceptions of the universities services. A questionnaire containing 30 questions has been used for data collection. The data were analyzed using the descriptive technique and the weighted least squares analysis. The measurement of the service quality is an important element to provide better, more efficient and more effective services.  SPSS Software and Cronbach alpha index have been used for data analysis and reliability. The reliability factor should be improved first because it is dominant in determining the students’ satisfaction. Quality indicators constituting the reliability factor include classroom, library, laboratory, public area, and information system. The results show that, by percentage, 2 indicators are in the very good category, only 5 indicators are in the good category, 9 indicators are in the fairly good category, and 14 indicators are in the poor category. The results indicate that the universities service quality needs to be improving. The results of the analysis show that five determinant factors of the students’ satisfaction include tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. By the priority scale, the reliability factor should be improved first because it is dominant in determining the students’ satisfactionThe present article aims to study the level of students’ satisfaction of PGRI Yogyakarta University towards service and facilities quality. Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module assisted by Macromedia Flash 8 which is feasible (valid, practical, and effective) to be used in learning the rules of sins and cosines of trigonometry for high school students in class X. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Pajangan, which is located in Guwosari, Pajangan, Bantul in the academic year 2021/2022. This research is a development research that uses the Brog and Gall method using 10 stages of research, namely: research and information collecting, planning, developing primary from product, premilinary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision, operation field testing, final product revision, desimination and implementation. The main sample of the research was 30 students of class X MIPA 3. The data collection technique of this research used a questionnaire, namely a questionnaire for expert validation and a student response questionnaire to see the practicality of the e-module. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative analysis technique for compiling data reduction, while other analytical techniques are used in a qualitative descriptive manner to present data in the form of numbers and tables. The results of the research concluded that the e-module assisted by Macromedia Flash 8 was feasible because material experts and e-module experts stated that the module was valid with an average score of 4.35 and 4.65 with the criteria of "Very Good". Based on the students' responses, they stated that they were practical with a good response percentage of 83%, and based on the average student score above the KKM, the average score of 25 students was 72.5.

Abstract

Meta-analysis is a technique that uses certain measures to show the strength of the relationship between similar variables in a number of different research results. The unit of analysis in this study is the thesis reports of UPY mathematics education students taking the topic of integrating STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) in learning mathematics. This study provides an introduction to the description of the implementation of STEM in students' mathematics learning, specifically aimed at knowing the improvement of the quality of the learning. The analytical technique used is library analysis on research reports taken purposively based on the research objectives. Quantitative analysis was carried out on percentage and nominal data, while qualitative analysis was carried out on study descriptions related to STEM implementation. The results of this study indicate that (1) in the aspect of mathematics learning outcomes, learning with STEM integration is able to describe students' abilities in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, (2) STEM learning is able to improve the quality of students' mathematics learning  Keywords: Meta-Analysis, STEM, Quality, Learning
