Abstract

This study aims to describe the Baitul Maal Wattamwil (BMT) industrial attractiveness in the city of Metro Lampung. For this purpose, this study uses a multiple case study approach on 10 BMTs in Metro Lampung. Data collection was conducted by in-depth interviews and supported by the Industrial Attractiveness Matrix (MDTI) as an analytical tool. The results showed several factors that are considered important for industrial attractiveness. Those are (in order): the profitability of the industry, the competition structure, and industry cycle. While some of the decisive factors of business strength for the BMT industry are (in order): the company's image, cash flow, and product / service quality. The results of the analysis showed that generally, the industrial attractiveness of BMT in Metro city is in the phase of decreasing. The main factor which causes this condition is the decreasing of the public trust, which is caused by the growth failure from many BMTs in Metro. It is also followed by the emergence of substitute products named micro financing from industrial banking with lower rate interest compared to BMT products. A unique finding in this study is that the legal factors are not considered as the industrial support (NO GO). It is because the law supervision in BMT is not strict enough, which makes the establishment for new BMTs is become easier. Ultimately, many BMTs are failed to grow (bankrupt) or related to customer fund fraud cases. These conditions have an impact on the decreasing level of consumer trust. Finally, the corporate image is a key to success and to survive in this industry. The preferred strategies in this condition are a selective growth and wait for an improvement of the industrial conditions.Keywords — The Industrial Attractiveness Matrix (MDTI), Baitul Mall Wattamwil (BMT).

Abstract

Tujuan penilitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi langsung pada kinerja pegawai dan hubungan tak langsung yang dimediasi oleh kompetensi sumber daya manusia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode secara variatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang didistribusikan kepada pegawai kesemua level jabatan fungsional secara random sebanyak 200 responden dan indepth interview di empat rumah sakit swasta kota Metro dan analisis data dilakukan dengan model analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Smart PLS (Partial Least Square).Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa komitmen organisasi yang direfleksikan oleh tiga komponen yaitu affective commitment and continuance commitment tidak dapat memberikan impact langsung pada kinerja pegawai, tetapi normative commitment dapat memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kinerja pegawai, selanjutnya komitmen organisasi dapat memberikan pengaruh positif tidak langsung pada kinerja pegawai melalui proses mediating oleh kompetensi sumber daya manusia serta tingkat komitmen organisasi rata-rata ke empat obyek tersebut tergolong masih rendah.Kata kunci : Komitmen Organisasi, Kompetensi Sumber daya manusia, Kinerja  Pegawai.ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to determine the effect of direct organizational commitment on employee performance and indirect relationships mediated by human resource competencies. The method used in this research is the method are varied with primary data collection through research instrument was a questionnaire distributed to employees of all these levels of functional positions at random as many as 200 respondents and in-depth interviews in four private hospitals in Metro City - Lampung  and data analysis performed by the analysis model Structural equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS (Partial Least Square).Research shows that organizational commitment that is reflected by the three components, namely affective commitment and continuance commitment can not provide impact directly on the performance of employees, but normative commitment provide positive and significant impact on the performance of employees, then the organization's commitment providing a positive influence indirectly on performance Employees through the mediating process by the competence of human resources and the level of organizational commitment on average to four objects is still low.Keywords: Competence of human resources, Employee performance. Abstract

This paper aims to identify the ultimate ownership of public companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2017 period. Identification techniques used in this study are: (1) tracking the ownership structure; (2) measuring the level of control; (3) determining the majority ownership, and (4) finding the ‘controlling shareholder’ narrative in the annual report. Based on tim research analyze, this paper found that the ultimate ownership of public companies in Indonesia 2014-2017 was concentrated in the ultimate family owners (54.43%), corporations (31.05%) and the state (7.49%). Beside it, 89.43% of families use the indirect ownership structure (pyramid ownership). In addition, more than 50% of the ultimate family ownership place their family members in the Board of Commissioner (BOC) and Board of Directors (BOD).

Abstract

AbstrakDua tahun belakangan pendemi Covid19 memberikan pengaruh buruk terhadap banyak sektor usaha, tidak terkecuali sektor usaha kuliner yang mengalami penurunan omset. Menurunnya trend permintaan di sektor kuliner juga memberikan efek domino di sektor hulu yang salah satunya adalah para supplier bahan baku ikan, dan dalam kasus ini adalah pembudidaya perikanan. Selain penurunan permintaan di sektor usaha kuliner, permintaan produk ikan di level rumah tangga juga menurun karena banyak pasar tradisional ditutup akibat kebijakan social distancing. Akibatnya para pembudidaya perikanan mengalami kesulitan untuk menjual hasil panen mereka, harga terus mengalami penurunan, dan tidak sedikit dari pembudidaya yang harus menghentikan kegiatan mereka, dan beralih ke profesi lain. Kelompok Budidaya Perikanan (Pokdakan) Srimulyo Mina Sejahtera (Srinara) merupakan salah satu Pokdakan yang terpaksa menghentikan kegiatan produksi mereka akibat kondisi pandemi. Untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan menggali potensi produk di sekitar Pokdakan Srinara, Tim Pengabdian Dosen D3 Kuangan dan Perbankan Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro menggelar seminar kewirausahaan dan inovasi bisnis, pengenalan fintech, pelatihan pembuatan dan maksimalisasi toko online. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini diantaranya adalah memberikan seminar kewirausahaan dan inovasi bisnis untuk menggali potensi peserta, praktik pembuatan toko online dan terahir adalah maksimalisasi pengelolaan toko online. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya penegetahuan peserta pada pengelolaan toko online, pengetahuan pada proses transaksi online berbasis  fintech, terbentuknya beberapa toko online dari peserta Pokdakan Srinara dengan beberapa produk yang ditawarkan.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, Pelatihan Toko Online, Kelompok Budidaya Perikanan (Pokdakan)AbstractIn the last two years, the Covid-19 pandemic had a negative impact on many business sectors, without exception the culinary sector businesses that force culinary entrepreneurs to stop their work. The declining trend of demand in the culinary sector also has a domino effect in the upstream sector, one of which is the suppliers of fish raw materials and in this case fish cultivators. Beside of the decline in demand in the culinary sector, the demand for fish products at the household level also decreased because many traditional markets were closed due to social distancing policies. As a result, fish cultivators have difficulty selling their harvests and prices continue to decline, and not a few of the cultivators have to stop their activities, and switch to other professions. The Fisheries Cultivation Group (Pokdakan) Srimulyo Mina Sejahtera (Srinara) is one of the Pokdakan that has stopped their production activities due to the pandemic conditions. To increase sales and explore product potential around the Srinara Pokdakan area, the D3 Finance and Banking Team of the University of Muhammadiyah Metro held training on the creation and optimization of online shop. The methods used in this training include providing entrepreneurship and business innovation seminars to explore the potential of participants, the practice of making online shop and finally maximizing online shop management. The result of this service is the formation of several online shops from Srinara Pokdakan participants with several products offered.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, Online Shop Training, Fisheries Cultivation Group

Abstract

AbstrakSalah satu agenda utama bagi pembangunan nasional adalah sektor ekonomi, khususnya kewirausahaan. Oleh karena itu, pada beberapa skim pengabdian kepada masyarakat peningkatan sektor kewirausahaan atau UMKM digalakkan untuk dapat dikembangankan kepada masyarakat. Harapannya, dengan munculnya pewirausaha-pewirausaha baru, sektor ekonomi masyarakat tumbuh dan semakin mapan, maka sektor lainya seperti pendidikan dan kesehatan dapat semakin terjamin. Berbagai pihak diharapkan menjadi agent of change bagi peningkatan di sektor ekonomi dan UMKM ini. Melalui program KKN PPM, tim Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro mencoba menjadi agen untuk menumbuhkan pewirausaha-pewirausaha baru dengan target khusus yaitu pemuda-pemudi di Kampung Pujokerto Kecamatan Trimurjo Lampung Tengah. Alasan dipilihnya lokasi ini adalah karena sebagian besar pemuda dan pemudi di Kampung ini merupakan petani turun temurun, yang dipandang dari sisi orientasi kewirausahaannya masih cukup rendah. Metode yang dilaksanakan pada pengabdian ini adalah pendekatan secara personal, FGD, studi banding, dan pelaksanaan kewirausahaan. Hasil pengabdiannya adalah terbentuknya kelompok kewirsausahaan berbasis pemuda yang diberinama Usaha Muda Mudi Mandiri (UM3) dan terciptanya usaha bagi kelompok berupa budi daya pembesaran dan pembenihan ikan lele, serta pelatihan pembuatan souvenir pernikahan berbahan Tali Kur.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan berbasis Pemuda, Kelompok wirausaha pemuda, KKN PPMAbstrakOne of the main agendas for national development is the economic sector, especially entrepreneurship. Therefore, in some community service schemes, the entrepreneurship sector or MSME sector enhancement is encouraged so that it can be developed in the community. The hope is that with the emergence of new entrepreneurs, the economic sector of society will grow and become more established, so that other sectors such as education and health can be more secure. Various parties are expected to become agents of change for improvement in the economic sector and MSMEs. Through the KKN PPM program, the University of Muhammadiyah Metro team tries to become an agent to grow new entrepreneurs with a special target, namely young people in Pujokerto Village, Trimurjo District, Central Lampung. The reason for choosing this location is because most of the youth and girls in this village are hereditary farmers, which is considered from the perspective of their entrepreneurial orientation is still quite low. The method used in this service is a personal approach, FGD, comparative studies, and the implementation of entrepreneurship. The result of this dedication was the formation of a youth-based entrepreneurship group called Usaha Muda Mudi Mandiri (UM3) and the creation of a business for the group in the form of raising and hatching catfish, as well as training in making wedding souvenirs from Tali Kur.Keywords: Youth-based entrepreneurship, youth entrepreneur groups, KKN PPM
