These countries have opportunity to increased prosperity in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Therefore, increasing productivity and international trading are important for each country. This study employed panel data model in the analyses and the findings show that Fixed Effect Model with Generalized Least Square method is implemented.  Hence, using this method is determined by likelihood test and Hausman test. The statistical tests in this study consist of partial coefficient test, stimulant, and coefficient of determination. The result shows that FDI and crude oil price have positive effect and significant on export, but inflation has negative effect and significant on export. Constant value shows that each country has the difference condition. Simple bureaucracy is needed to increased efficiency that will attract foreign investors to invest their fund and the discovery of alternative energy and new production technique can increase a country productivity significantly in producing goods or services for both domestic and export-oriented.

Abstract

This study has two objectives: first, to test the competitiveness of Textile Commodities and Indonesian Textile Product (TPT) in the global market and identify the prospects of the new export markets. Second, identify the competitiveness of the textile industry using case studies in the Solo Raya region. The Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Export Product Dynamics (EPD) methods are using in this study. The results show that Indonesian TPT commodities have a lost opportunity category in the central export destinations countries, such as a decline in market share. Indonesian TPT commodities have prospects in Austria, Canada, Finland, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, and Sweden due to competitiveness and domination in the market. Besides, the condition of the Indonesian textile industry competitiveness shows low competitiveness in terms of factor conditions, demand conditions, supporting and related industries, strategy, structure, and competition that are components of Porter's diamond model.JEL Classification: L6, L67How to Cite:Prasetyani, D., Abidin, A. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengukur tingkat digitalisasi UMKM dan menguji faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat penggunaan teknologi digital pada UMKM yang terdampak COVID-19. Model Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) digunakan untuk memetakan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi niat penggunaan teknologi digital.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of growth of the manufacturing sector, the human development index, and inflation on income inequality in the Solo Raya Region in 2008-2020. This study used panel data analysis with six districts and one city member of the Solo Raya Region. The data analysis stage was a selection test of the estimation technique and the classical assumption test to produce the best panel data regression model with the SUR cross-section weight. The regression estimation shows that the growth of the manufacturing sector and inflation positively and significantly affect income inequality. The human development index shows a negative and significant impact on income inequality. This analysis indicates that the economic development process in the Solo Raya region is in line with the development stages based on Rostow's view. The positive relationship between growth in the manufacturing sector and income inequality shows similarities to Kuznets's hypothesis that income inequality will increase in the initial phase of economic growth.

Abstract

This study intends to examine what factors were determined the quality of financial statements. We examined the impact of internal audit quality, corporate governance, and CSR performances on financial reporting quality. Since financial reporting quality was difficult to observe directly, we used the accrual earnings management (EM) approach. Using 78 firm-year observations of 39 public companies listed in the LQ-45 index from 2019 to 2020, We employed Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression as our data analysis technique. The number of audit committees and board size became the measurement indicators of internal audit quality and corporate governance. Moreover, CSR ratings provided by CSR Hub measured CSR performances. Our findings indicated a positive relationship between internal audit quality and corporate governance on the quality of financial performance. It means that both internal quality and corporate governance become the determinant factors of financial reporting quality. On the other hand, CSR performances did not have any relationship with the financial reporting quality. This paper provides fruitful insight into the factors that driven financial reporting quality. Using different aspects of factors influencing the quality of financial statements, we initially offer valuable insight for business practitioners and potential investors to assess the quality of financial performance

Abstract

Undergraduate students who are in pre-employment conditions need to manage their career orientation from an early age. There are still few studies that explore protean career orientation at the pre-employment level (especially at the undergraduate level). This study was aimed to examine the factors that influence the protean career orientation of undergraduate students. It examines the impact of individual adaptability and internal locus of control on protean career orientation, as well as examines the role of academic advisory as a moderator. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 160 samples, which were undergraduate students in Indonesia. Data analysis was performed using the SEM-PLS method. There are several research results obtained: 1) individual adaptability has a positive effect on protean career orientation, 2) internal locus of control has a positive effect on protean career orientation, and 3) academic advisory has no moderating effect on both relationships. These results enrich the literature on the antecedents of protean career orientation. There are several implications of these results, including 1) this finding enriches the literature on the study related to the antecedents of protean career orientation, 2) enriches the literature on protean career orientation with individual objects that are still in preparation to enter the workplace (i.e., students), and 3) this finding can be a reference for higher education institution to facilitate students career planning early.
