Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to describe the implementation of industry-based work character development in practical learning that can equip students as Z-generation and to define the feasibility level of industry-based work character-based practice learning methods that can improve student learning achievement as Z-generation. Used in this study is the method of research and development (R & D). The development procedure uses the Borg and Gall models. The data subjects were class XI ATPH students in 2 classes as a control and experimental group — data collection techniques with learning observation, validation questionnaire, and documentation. While data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, the results of the study produced a guidebook, learning tools, and assessment tools. Evaluation of products and learning devices is feasible and can be used for trials. While the effectiveness of the product developed can improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

This is descriptive research with aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy, achievement motivation, and self-efficacy and achievement motivation together on student learning outcomes in the Agriculture Sector of SMK Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Bun in the academic year 2017/2018. It had used the survey method with a population of 81 people and the sample used was 65 students. Data analysis techniques were using descriptive statistics and inference statistics, and hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 16. Obtained results were self-efficacy has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes with a contribution of 65.3%. Achievement motivation has a positive and significant effect on student learning outcomes with a contribution of 26%. Self-efficacy and achievement motivation have a positive and significant effect together on student learning outcomes. The variation in the score of learning outcomes about 68.10% could be explained by a combination of these two variables. While 31.90% is influenced by other variables were not examined in this study.

Abstract

The concept of ecotourism is one of the alternatives for the development of Wonosadi Forest. Ecotourism focuses on three main things: natural or ecological sustainability, economic benefits, and psychologically acceptable in social life. This study aims to determine the extent to which the concept of community-based ecotourism can be used as an alternative development of Wonosadi forest. Through the development of ecotourism, the forest wonosadi is expected to be able to: 1) build environmental and cultural awareness around the forest area wonosadi 2) reduce the negative impact of damage or environmental pollution, in this case, wonosadi forest and local culture due to ecotourism activities, 3) directly to conservation through contributions from tourist visits, 4) develop a community economy and empower local communities by creating alternative tourism products that prioritize local values and uniqueness. This study used a qualitative approach using FGD (Focus Group Discussion) method and in-depth interview, secondary data study, and literature study. The results of the analysis show that: 1) ecotourism can create business opportunities, 2) ecotourism can increase employment and 3) ecotourism can increase income while increasing equality of local income.

Abstract

This study is a descriptive correlative study that aims to determine: (1) the relationship between the application of block system learning and learning achievement in productive subjects, (2) the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement on productive subjects, (3) the relationship between the application of learning block system and learning motivation with learning achievement on productive subjects. The research sample was taken by random sampling technique as many as 90 students. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire for the variable implementation of block system learning and learning motivation and documentation for learning achievement variables. Test the validity of the instrument using product moment correlation and reliability using Cronbach's alpha. For the research hypothesis tested by product moment analysis techniques and double predictor multiple regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) there is a positive  and  significant  relationship  between  the  application  of  system  block  learning  (x1)  and learning outcomes (y) as evidenced by the correlation index of 0.914 and the relationship between the two can be shown in the regression line equation y = 33.849 + 0.633x1, 2) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation (x2) and learning outcomes (y) as evidenced by a correlation index of 0.948 and the relationship between the two can be shown in the regression line equation  y = 31,552  +  0,685x2,  3) there is  a positive relationship  and  significant  between  the application of block system learning (x1) and learning motivation (x2) with learning outcomes (y) proved by the correlation index of 0.752 and the relationship between the two can be shown in the regression line equation y = 30.906 + 0.156x1 + 0.533x2.

Abstract

Strategic collaboration between Vocational High Schools (SMK) and stakeholders can improve the quality of Vocational Schools. The quality improvement of SMK will undoubtedly be able to produce skilled human resources and be able to meet the needs of the workforce. One form of cooperation carried out by the Vocational School with the business world / industrial world is the Honda class program which is the cooperation of Vocational Schools with PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM). This evaluation concept aims to help research related to the effectiveness of Honda Class programs in Vocational Schools using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, and Product) developed by Stufflebeam. Through this evaluation model, researchers try to measure the effectiveness of Honda Class programs by analyzing the problems faced so that they can determine the strategic steps in resolving these problems.

Abstract

The speech recognition system will produce a transcription text from the sound being tested — some speech recognition systems at the Al-Qur'an show quite good accuracy. There is a big possibility to use the speech recognition system to be an input to other systems. The use of sound as input to the system to do searches in data in a text representation is called spoken query. This paper tries to conduct a discussion on the use of speech recognition systems to become spoken queries in the Qur'an data. As a result, the speech recognition system can be used as input to the Qur'anic verse retrieval system and the tajwid checking system.

This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this study was the tenth-grade students of Light Vehicle Engineering at Muhammadiyah 1 Imogiri Vocational School in the year 2017/2018, amounted to 29 students, while the object of this classroom action research was the application of the Snowball Throwing a type cooperative learning model. The data collection techniques used were observation and test. The instruments used were test sheets and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used descriptive and quantitative analysis to determine the percentage of activity and learning were an achievement. The results of this research show that: (1) the application of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model could improve students’ activity in the cooling system subjects. The result shows that the activeness score in the first cycle (48.8%) and increased in the second cycle became (68.2%), and (2) The application of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model could improve the learning achievements of the Cooling System. The results show that the results of the pre-cycle test were 13.79%. Students who completed the first cycle of KKM were 13 students with a percentage of 44.9%. The test results in cycle II increased from cycle I. Students completed cycle II as many as 23 people with a percentage of 79.3%.
