Hypercholesterolemia is a condition when cholesterol levels exceed normal range. Hypercolesterolemia  associated with an increased risk of cardio vascular diseases such as Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS) and Cerebro Vascullar Accident. It is estimated that more than 6 million people suffer from hypercholesterolemia worldwide. College students are a population at risk of suffering from hypercholesterolemia due to an irregular lifestyle accompanied by a lack of physical activity. Tin leaf (Ficus Carica) tea can be used to control cholesterol levels. This research used Quasi experiment design with Repeated measurement (pretest and posttest) design approach. Research Sample were 23 students with obesity who were divided into 2 groups  Repeated ANOVA analysis show there are significant differences between groups (p = 0.017). Bonferoni Post Hoc analysis shows that there are significant differences between Pretest and post test data in the first week (p = o.011). Flavonoids and pectin in the tin leaf (Ficus carica) play an important role in cholesterol regulation. Flavonoids can increase the expression of HDL-C (good cholesterol), whereas pectin increases the secretion of sterols in Cecal metabolism. Consumption of  twice daily tin leave tea  was proven in reduce blood cholesterol levels in respondents. It can be conclude there were significant differences of total cholesterol levels before treatment, 1 week after and 2 weeks after administration of Tin (ficus carica)  tea  leaf with a dose twice a day in Obese College students at the Poltekkes Rumah sakit dr. Soepraoen Malang. Key Words: Cholesterol, College Student, Obesity,Tin (ficus carica)

The research design used was pre-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test design. The subjects of this study were grade VII students who smoked as many as 43 students were taken with total sampling method, and data analysis uses Wilcoxon Test. Wilcoxon test results with the SPSS program, obtained the value of knowledge variables, probability value = 0,000 and the value of α = 0.05 so that the value of p <α and sig value. (0.000) <0,05 can be deduced There is influence of cooperative learning type of talking stick model to increase knowledge of smoking hazard to Junior High School student. Keywords : Model of cooperative learning type talking stick, knowledge.

Abstract

Cerebral hypoxia is secondary injury which affects the mortality of clients with Trauma Brain Injury (TBI). One component of respiration that can be used to monitor the occurrence of cerebral hypoxia is oxygen saturation (SpO2). The purpose of this study was to analyze the accuracy of oxygen saturation as a predictor of mortality in head injury clients. This study is an analytic observational with retrospective cohort design. The population is all head injury medical records from January to December 2017 at the hospital. dr. Iskak Tulungagung. A total of 150 samples were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. The dependent variable in this study was the mortality of the head injury client in seven days of treatment and the independent variable was the value of SpO2 in the ED triage data in the clients medical record. The results of the Mann-Whitney test analysis showed that the SpO2 variable had a significant relationship with the mortality of the head injury client (p value = 0.000). Logistic regression test shows that the SpO2 has sensitivity = 0.907 (90.7%), specificity = 0.881 (88.1%), Positive Predictive Value (PPV) = 0.951 (95.1%), and Negative Predictive Value (NPV) = 0.787 (78.7%) with predictive accuracy capability = 90%. Oxygen Saturation is an accurate predictor (90% accuracy) of the mortality of the head injury client. Keywords: Mortality, Client Head Injury, Accuracy, Oxygen Saturation.
