This research adopted Type 1 developmental research design in which its formative evaluation phase involved an alpha and beta testing to elicit responses to the module. The instruments used were expert evaluation form, questionnaires, and the digital learning module prototype software. A total of nine (9) experts from public universi- ties in Malaysia and fourty (40) undergraduate university students from UniversitiTeknologi MARA took part as purposive sampling. The usability of the digital learning module was seen relative in terms of `flexibility' and `learning community' aspect which obtained the highest mean (mean = 5.00) among experts. Whereas students had different perception on factor contributed to the students' usage of the digital learning module, which they equally found that `flexibility' aspect obtained the highest mean (mean = 3.93), followed by the aspect on `personel learning' (mean = 3.90) and `complementary learning' (mean= 3.88). In addition, content experts recommended aspect of values need to exert in the digital learning module, while technological and blended learning experts stated that the design, interactivity, guidelines and links required some improvements to produce a better module for TITAS. Overall, this study contributes to the development of blended university compulsory course for TITAS based on users' need.

Abstract

Islam and science are an inseparable unity. Islam as a religion is a source of knowledge and knowledge is a means to apply everything contained in religious teachings. In the Qur'an, there are around 750 verses related to science. This shows that Islam places great emphasis on the development of science. But what happens, these two things are pushed aside from each other, resulting in a dichotomy of knowledge that enters all aspects of life. The awareness to restore the position of Islam and science began to be rolled back by Muslim thinkers by integrating the two. In educational institutions, the integration of Islamic and science values is strengthened through an "integrated curriculum", which is "bringing together several scientific disciplines in a learning design to obtain better learning outcomes with the ability of students to connect one subject to another. Among the integration concepts offered are "shared, Webbed, and integrated." In addition to curriculum integration, components that need to be considered are improving the quality of human resources and educational infrastructure.

Abstract

The aims of this study is as basis for making policies and strategies that need to be taken to improve the quality of Baitul Arqam Program going forward. Baitul Arqam program that has been carried out so far has never been seen in measurable terms. There are three research designs in this study, namely 1) descriptive-qualitative research design, 2) survey research design and 3) CIPP evaluation research design. The result of this study are based on the result of the analysis of the questionnaire and interview, it can be concluded that the lecturers and employees who have participated in Baitul Arqam activities have good morals and high performance. Based on the result of the evaluation it can be concluded that, 1) Baitul arqam material should be made into one book and distributed to participants, 2) The material should also discuss matters related to prayer, organizing bodies, and other worship in accordance with the guidance of HPT, 3) The video interesting learning so that participants are more interested and focused, 4) Every lecturer and employee who has not yet followed the Baitul Arqam must participate in the activity, 5) There is a pre-test and post-test to measure the success of the participants, 6) the mandatory requirements of participants are declared to pass if they take Fathul Quthub and Tahajud Prayers, and follow the material for each session at a minimum 75%.

Abstract

The Naval Collaboration Flexible learning (NCFL) learning model is the result of innovation in the field of learning technology to make it more effective, efficient and increase attractiveness in order to achieve learning success. The NCFL learning model was developed by synthesizing various learning and learning theories, system-based, referring to the suitability of the needs and the latest science and technology developments, and still maintaining the distinctive cultural features of the Navy, and based on the values of Pancasila. The problem studied is how the influence of the NCFL learning model in the field of Islamic Religious Education at the Naval College of Technology. The method used is a quantitative method with the process of collecting data through questionnaires to 35 students of the Naval College of Technology and data analysis using SPSS 25.0 software. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the application of the NCFL learning model at the Naval College of Technology, especially in the field of Islamic Religious Education. From the simple linear regression test, the regression equation formula Y = 9.657 + 0.579 X1, meaning that if the X1 value is increased by 1 point, the strength of the Y relationship will increase by the value of the X1 variable, namely 0.579. Furthermore, from the formulation of the regression equation Y = 24.352 + 0.461 X2, which means that if the X2 value is increased by 1 point, the strength of the Y relationship will increase by the value of the X2 variable, namely 0.461. In the multiple linear regression test, the equation formula is Y = 8.274 + 0.476 X1 + 0.187 X2, meaning that if the two variables X1 and X2 are increased by a constant 1, there will be an increase in the Y output value of the X1 and X2 variables, namely (0.476 + 0.187 = 0.663).
