Abstract

Examples non examples cooperative learning type is a learning model with pictures to be analysized by the students and the students can procedure a brief description from the material with examples and non examples. The purpose of this research is to determine: the implementation of cooperative learning   examples non examples model using natural resources video to improve the creativity and students’  achievement on IPS in VIII C, SMP Negeri 1 Sragen.This research is the Classroom Action Research which concist of three cycle. These cyclus have three steps namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. This subject of this research is class VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Sragen which concist of 34 students. The tehniques  of collecting  data uses test, observation, documentation and field notes. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The result shows that the questionares given to the students on cycle one can be found that the average score is 62.50 and minimal criteria is 47.06%, cycle two the average score is 64.85 and minimal criteria is 79.41%, cycle three the average score is 67.03 and minimal criteria is 94.12%. And the post test show that the average score on cycle one is 69.26(2.77) and the achievement of minimal criteria is 47.06%, the average score on cycle two is 78.38(3.14) and the achievement of minimal criteria 79.41%, the average score on cycle three 84.00(3.35) and the achievement of minimal criteria is 100%. The Implementation of cooperative learning   examples non examples model using natural resources video can improve the students’ creativity and  achievement because this model give the chances to the students to think critically on the theme and the students can find the concept directly from the analysis. The students involve in discovery learning process which support the students to build the concept progresivelly through to the experience from examples non examples. This learning model is suitable for the theme using natural resources. Show, based on the results above can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning examples non examples model using natural resources video can  improve the creativity and students’ achievement on IPS in VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Sragen.

Abstract

This study was conducted using classroom action research in two cycles. The subject of research was the 7th B graders of SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta. The objects of research were learning activity and outcome of Social Science.The result of research showed that Social Science learning using Numbered Head Together (NHT) conducted in two cycles could (1) improve the learning activity of students. Increasing of the studying activity look from the increasing activity from the early condition to the cycle II. a). Activity to express idea, ask and answer the questions in the early condition there are 12 students,  there are 17 students in the cycle I, and there are 20 students in the cycle II. b). Cooperative activity in the discussion group, in the early conditionn there are 13 students, there are 16 studends in the cycle I, and there are 20 in the cycle II. c). Activity of reading lesson material, in the early condition there are 15, there are 18 in the cycle I, and there are 20 in the cycle. d). Activity of nothing, listening to the teacher’s explanation in the early condition there 15, and there are 19 in the cycle I, and there are 21 in the cycle II. e). Activity of presenting the group’s discussion result, in the early condition there 14, there are 18 in the cycle I , and there are 20 in the cycle II, (2) improve the learning outcome of students, as indicated with 28% (7 student) of score achieving KKM (Minimum Passing Criterion) increasing to 76% (19 student) in cycle I and to 88% (22 student)) in cycle II.

Abstract

Background: This study has the objective to (1) describe the history lesson planning, (2) describe the implementation of the teaching of history, (3) describe the history of learning assessment, and (4) analyzing the constraints in the implementation of national awareness-based teaching history in high school Al -Muayyad which is one unit of formal education in Pondok Pesantren Al-Muayyad SMA Muhammadiyah Surakarta and Boarding School, which is one unit of formal education in Modern Boarding School Boarding School Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta.Methods: The study was a descriptive qualitative study of the strategies are rooted double case. Footage used in this research is purposive sampling with criterion-based selection. Data was collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students of class XI IPS, and recording documents such as learning devices. Data validation performed by triangulation. Analysis of the data used is interactive model, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion.Results: This study concluded that (1) Planning made educators in high school and high school Al-Muayyad MBS in history teaching based national vision is to construct a learning tool in the form of a syllabus and lesson plan (RPP) which incorporate cultural values and national character . (2) The implementation of national awareness-based history of learning is done in high school educators Al-Muayyad through heroic story boarding in upholding the independence of Indonesia, question and answer, and discussion groups. While the implementation of national awareness-based history of learning is done in high school educators MBS through documentary film history of national struggle, question and answer, discussion groups, and assignment (3) The form of the assessment test and non-test by considering the cognitive, affective and psychomotor student. (4) The problem faced in teaching history in high school national awareness-based Al-Muayyad and senior MBS including the ability of teachers in the learning process, the attitude of students in participating in the learning and teaching facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the values of nationalism in Indonesian History textbooks in class XI. Issues raised include: (1). How nationalism can emerge in Indonesia. (2). How the influence of nationalism itself for the Indonesian people. The research method used is critical discourses analysis, which is analyzing discourse contained in Indonesian History textbooks. The approach used is the theory of nationalism E.J. Hobsbawm. Nationalism develops through three phases, ethnolinguistic nationalism, xenophobia, passionate ethnocentrism. The results of the study show that nationalism emerged as a response to Dutch colonialism and imperialism. Emerging local elites were enlightened as a result of the ethical politics of the early 20th century. Many movement organizations were formed, including the Indische Partij, which provided the essential foundation for Indonesian ideas as inspiration for the emergence of the conception of the awareness of modern Indonesian nationhood in 1928.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPS kompetensi ciri-ciri Negara maju dan berkembang melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Kristen 1 Surakarta pada kelas IX B Semester I SMP  tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dengan jumlah subyek penelitian 22 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan.Metodologi penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik deskriptif  komparatif dengan membandingkan hasil motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kondisi awal dengan hasil siklus 1 dan siklus 2.Hasil penelitian sebelum tindakan skor rata-rata motivasi belajar adalah 9,67 atau 43,93%. Pada siklus 1 setelah pembelajaran dengan model STAD tanpa alat peraga meningkat 4,66 atau 21,18% menjadi 14,33 atau 65,13%. Pada kondisi akhir atau siklus 2 pembelajaran menggunakan model STAD dengan alat peraga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7,67 atau 34,86% menjadi 22 atau 100%. Sedangkan hasil belajar pada kondisi awal rata-rata 67,72 dan setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD tanpa alat peraga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 10,82 menjadi rata-rata 78,54 serta pada kondisi akhir atau siklus 2 setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD dengan alat peraga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 4,50 menjadi rata-rata 83,04. Ketuntasan belajar pada kondisi awal sebesar 31,82% pada siklus 1 mengalami kenikan sebesar 40,90% menjadi 72,73% dan pada kondisi akhir atau siklus 2 meningkat 27,27% menjadi 100% tuntas belajar.Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran STAD dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar IPS kompetensi Negara maju dan berkembang bagi peserta didik kelas IX B SMP Kristen 1 Surakarta tahun 2017/2018.

Abstract

            The objectives of this research and development are (1) to describe model of Social Science learning in Bedewang Elementary State School 1, songgon district, (2) to describe the development of Social Science learning based on local wisdom “kebo-keboan” tradition which increase the study result and students’ social skill in Bedewang Elementary State School 1, Songgon District, (3) to describe the effectiveness of Social Science learning model based on local wisdom “kebo-keboan” tradition to increase the study result and students’ social skill in Bedewang Elementary State School 1, Songgon District.            The research and development is modified from Borg and Gall concept. The instruments use to collect the data are observation, interview, questionnaire, and pre test. The method used in the research consist of previous study, learning model development, and effectiveness test model. The data analysis to test the validity model uses Liker Scale with range 5, while the effectiveness test model uses t test.            The result of the study shows that in teaching social science teacher still focuses on conventional model, unsupported by innovative teaching model. Beside, teacher lacks ability to integrate the material and local wisdom around the students. The steps taken to develop this model are divided into several phases, they are preparation, implementation, and closing. The validation by the expert also become consideration to perfect the developed model at trial phase. The result of validation test model score is 4,22 (good), lesson plan validation score is 4,4 (good), questions’ validation score is 4,09 (good) and material validation is 4,05 (good). This model is worthy to use as the model of social science learning. The result of effectiveness shows that t test 2,578 with significance 0,0013 < 0,025 which means it can influence the social skill as many as 5,944 with significant degree 0,000 < 0,025. In other words, the social science model developed is effective to increase the study result and students’ social skill.

Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelagic country store who so abundant in culture.This wealth can be seen from the kebudaya of literary work, building, objects history, works of art and others.The results of culture, Songket is one of culture. Songket is the result culture the community malay especially the people of south Sumatra who still stay there until now. On each motive, having symbols containing values local knowledge especially in form of social solidarity in society south Sumatra. Values local knowledge this needs implementation in students in learning especially on the subjects of social science class in Junior High School.Thus developed a learning model social class based value Songket symbolism to increse of social solidarity students in Junior High School  6 Kayuagung. Research and development is organized based on the concept of that has been created by borg and gall. Implementation phase in this research include study introduction, the development of learning model, and the effectiveness model. Data analysis use scale lingkert by the span of 5 while test the effectiveness of model use T test.In T test obtained value 3,789 with significance 0,000 & lt; 0,025, it means is the a significant impact on the model developed.While test t for the judgment of attitude of social solidarity with the economic situation of 2,360 significance much as 0.021 & lt; 0,025, so that rerata before and sesusah treatment class experiment not at.Thus learning model social class developed effective to improve their performance and attitude of social solidarity of student.

Abstract

Research development aims to: ( 1 ) described on use media teaching history in high school land 1 muara sugihan; ( 2 ) described development media map history; ( 3 ) test the effective of media as a means of students independent study. Research conducted is research development research and development in a ADDIE was of molenda who mencangkup: ( 1 ) analysis of necessity; ( 2 ) make a medium; ( 3 ) the development of design got a product that will validated by the , and in ujicobakan one by one , small group , and broad , ( 4 ) the implementation of media at class experimentation; ( 5 ) test the effectiveness of . Conclusion ( 1 ) learning not use media of learning; ( 2 the media map history get the average score 40 by the matter and 31.5 for the judgment of media so dikatagorikan good , pilot one by one , small group , broad showed the media can used as a means of students independent study .( 3 ) the effectiveness of media as a means of independent study from the test t obtained the economic situation of significance 0,005&lt;0,025 show H0 rejected which means that there is a difference in an increase in independent study students experimentation and control.

Abstract

In its history, the traces of the development of education in Indonesia have various variants, systems and patterns. One of them is traditional Islamic education. The entry of Islam into Indonesia has given its own color and style to the national education system, in addition to pre-academic, Hindu-Buddhist, Dutch and Japanese colonial education. In Islamic education there is a system of work on how education is run. This paper aims to : (1) know what is the Islamic education, (2) research more how is the portrait of the traditional Islamic education system in Indonesia, and (3) as well as to know how are the differences between traditional Islamic education with modern Islamic education. This study uses a historical method where the author collects various primary and secondary sources both archives, books, journals and other relevant sources.The results of this study indicate that Islamic education is education organized by people or Islamic institutions with a system and curriculum based on Islam (Al Quran and As Sunnah). There are special characteristics about the traditional Islamic education system in Indonesia that are different from the modern Islamic education system. These special characteristics can be seen at least from six aspects that consist of place of teaching, teaching methods, curriculum, orientation, management of institutions, and education funding systems.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan 'WARNING' sebuah pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis website sebagai media dan model pembelajaran sejarah Indonsiaberdasarkan potensi sejarah perjuangan Raden Mas Said atau Pangeran Samber Nyawa di Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia.
