Abstract

the right strategy in solving learning problems at YAPTI Makassar SLB-A is through COMEDI-based learning (Computer, Internet, and Audio). The results showed that YAPTI Makassar's SLB-A development as a Blind Center school through KOMEDI (Computer, Internet, and Audio) learning was very appropriate, because: blind students were easier to understand something through auditory learning, in accordance with the teaching principles for blind children, interesting , and foster the spirit of student learning, and can make certain material developments. YAPTI Makassar SLB-A development as a Blind Center school through KOMEDI learning (Computers, Internet, and Audio) can create a conducive learning environment, learning innovations are increasingly developed, the order of learning implementation is well achieved, and school performance has increased.

Abstract

Early childhood education had implemented through education pre-school or kindergarten. One of kindergarten which concerned on increasing the quality of early childhood education was kindergarten Education Foundation at Sorowako. kindergarten received all of the employees’s children in the PT. Vale Indonesia tbk. This, there was not selection, so that there were children who accepted special need. Consequently this school should have inclusion education program for them. That’s why, the aims of this research are: (i) to find out the description of how to implement education for special needs students at Kindergarten of Sorowako Education Foundation, (ii) to know supports and inhibiting factors the implementation of inclusion education for the special needs students at Kindergarten of Sorowako Education Foundation. The approach of this research causes study of qualitative research by collecting data with interviews, observations, and documents studies.The results of this study showed that (i) Implementation of inclusion education in TK YPS Lawewu Sorowako. For children who accepted special needs designed by integrate individual learning programs for them. The result of analysis the data showed the appropriate to design of inclusion education. The differences are not significant caps. And (ii) the factor inhibit the implementation of inclusion education in kindergarten YPS Lawewu Sorowako. Was the number of theraphy staff still less than the number of special children. In addition, there were the teacher who could do as an inclusion teacher and regular teacher while the supporting factors were aduquate funding of PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. And allocation of learning facilities.

Abstract

The Implementation of Strategic Plan in Formulating Education Program at Youth and Sports Education Office in Enrekang District. Where strategic planning in the preparation of educational programs according to the needs and potential of the region , support mechanisms and adequate organization, having professional and support data and relevant information. The aim of this study are to discover (i) the strategic plan at Youth and Sports Education Office and (ii) the formulation of education program at Youth and Sports Education Office in Enrekang district. The type of the study was descriptive qualitative research. The study was conducted at Youth and Sports Education Office in Enrekang district. Source of main data in the study were strategic plan of Enrekang district in 2009-2013, the head of Youth and Sports Education office, the secretary of Youth and Sports Education Office, and head department of planning

Abstract

This study aims to find out the description of planning, implementation, supervision and supporting factors and obstacles to teacher discipline in Baraka MTs Negeri Enrekang District. This research is a research with a qualitative approach. The source of the data in this study were the principal, vice principal, teacher, and students in the Baraka District MTs. Enrekang. the results of the study show (1) the discipline planning of teachers in the State Baraka District MTs. Enrekang is done well. (2) The implementation of teacher discipline is carried out by giving reward and punishment to the teacher, this is very influential on the implementation of the discipline of teachers in schools. (3) Supervision of teacher discipline is carried out well, Supervision is carried out before activities, during activities, and after activities. This supervision is carried out continuously to ensure the implementation of discipline in accordance with the plan. (4) Factors supporting the implementation of teacher discipline management are: goals and abilities, leadership / exemplary, legal sanctions, active supervision, conditions and work environment. (5) Inhibiting factors for the implementation of the discipline management of teachers in schools, namely the presence of teachers who are unable to attend on time at school but do not provide information to the school.

Abstract

This study aims at examining the description on the professional competence of teachers which includes the development of school-based curriculum, the mastery of learning material, management of learning program, classroom management and the use of media and sources of learning at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 24 Makassar. The location of the study was centered at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 24 Makassar. The type of research of the study was descriptive qualitative research. The data sources were selected purposively. The techniques used in collecting the data were observation, interview, and documentation. The data then were analyzed using descriptive qualitative method by conducting data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study concluded that (i) the development of school-based curriculum had been conducted standard and basic competence as well, (ii) the mastery of learning material, teachers had fulfilled the standard, (iii) the management of learning program had been conducted well, (iv) classroom management  was conducted well, and (v) the implementation of media and sources of learning were used well and appropriate to the needs of learning at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 24 Makassar.

Abstract

This research is conducted based on the problems: (1) How is the perception of educator and education personnel in Pangkep regency about the planning of education program in implementation of SMA / SMK? (2) What is the perception of educators and education personnel in Pangkep District about the implementation of educational work plan in implementation of SMA / SMK? (3) What is the perception of educators and education personnel in Pangkep regency about supervision and evaluation of education activities in the implementation of high school / vocational transfer?. This research is done through quantitative approach with descriptive type. This research was conducted in SMA / SMK that exist in Pangkajene Kepulauan Regency of South Sulawesi Province. Population of this research is educator (teacher) and education staff of SMA / SMK which exist in Pangkajene Islands Regency. Simple sampling. To get the information then in this research used research instrument in the form of questionnaire (questionnaire) which is distributed to the respondent, in this case educator and education personnel in Pangkajene and Kepulauan.

Abstract

managerial fuction on the aspects of the planning, organization, leaderships, monitoring, evaluation as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors of the principal in managing the school. The study was conducted at SMPN 4 Panca Rijang in Sidenreng Rappang district. The data sources were 9 informants which consisted of the principal, the vice principals, of curriculum affairs, students affairs, facility and infrastucture affairs, public relation affairs, administration affairs, subject teachers, and the chief of school committe. Data were collected through in-depth interview and documentation. Data were then analyzed by employing qualitative method with several steps: data reduction, data persentation, data verification, and member check. The result of the study revealed that the implementation of the principal’s managerial function on the palnning aspect was conducted well, indicated by the success of the principal in arranging the plan of the various level, RAPBS. The organization aspect was conducted well, indicated by the successof the principal in arranging the organizational structure of the school, job distribution, and job delegation. The leadership aspect was not conducted well due to less maximal of the human resoursces in school. The monitoring aspect was not conducted well as well due to less maximal of the principal in controlling the school activities, particulary the teaching and learning process in class. The evaluation aspect was conducted well, indicated by the implementation of evaluation on the activities which appropriated with the plan according to the procedure, time allocation, and the set funding. The supporting factors of the principal in managing the school were professional leadership, the education qualification of the teachers and employees who are sarjana in everage, harmonious partnership between the stakeholders; whereas, the inhibiting factors were inefficient facility and infrastructure, school condition in terms of flooding, lack of participation by the public, material and non-material factors of the parents.

Abstract

The Implementation of Managerial Funcotion of Principal of SMAN 2 in School based Managemen in Polewali Mandar. This is a qualitative research with a case study approach on the level of school organization. Data sources of this research were set purposively by conducting interview, documenatation and observation and justified trough triangulation and member check. The result reveal that: (i) the implementation of managerial function of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali on the planning aspect is in accordance with the planning function, (ii) the implementation of managerial function of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali on the organization aspect is in accordance with the organizational function, (iii) the implementation of managerial function of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali on the motivation aspect still need to be improved, (iv) the implementation of managerial function of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali on the controlling aspect still need to be improved, (v) managerial autonomy of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali in MBS still need to improved in the from innovation policy, (vi) managerial transparency of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali in MBS is accordance with the transparency function, (vii) managerial accountability of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali in MBS is horisonatally in accordance with the transparency function, but vertically it still need improvement,(viii) community participation on the implementation of managerial function of principal at SMAN 2 Polewali in MBS yet maximal, (ix) the implementation of managerial function of participal at SMAN 2 Polewali still need to be improved.

Abstract

Pemimpin sebuah organisasi merupakan posisi kunci untuk dapat menghadapi terjadinya perubahan yang cepat begitu pula untuk dapat menciptakan perubahan dan pengembangan organisasi dibutuhkan seorang pemimpin yang memiliki kepemimpinan yang dapat mendorong atau menjadikan organisasi atau perusahaan mempunyai kultur yang menyuburkan kreativitas dan selalu dapat mempertahankan nafas kreativitas serta selalu melahirkan inovasi baru yang menghasilkan sustainable growth atau sustainable development sebagai prasyarat untuk perubahan dan perkembangan organisasi.

Abstract

Effect of Implementation of School-Base Management on Student Achievement in Intergrated Islamic Primary School in Makassar . This research is based on compability between the concept of intergrated schools with SBM, the number of applicants on alleged SD IT is increasing because good management so that the achievements of their students are well too. This type of research is descriptive quantitative method used is survey. Quantitative method analysis descriptive statistics and inferential analysis, with regression test. The results showed that the implementation of SBM from management aspects of the curriculum, educators and educational management in SDIT in Makassar has been done regularly and independently. The respondents’ answers show trends in the high category. This study also found that: first, there was an impact of implementing SBM from the aspect of curriculum, educatos and educational management, and students in Makassar; second, there was a positive effect of the SBM implementation from the aspect of educators and educational management toward the students achievement of SDIT students in Makassar; third, there was a positive effect of the SBM implementation from the aspects of students management on students achievement of students of SDIT in Makassar.
