Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the information quality and its effect on performance of Iraqi companies. Organizations were found aware on the need to have quality of information as to cope with environmental uncertainty. Most organizations agree on the importance of accounting information system (AIS) as to gather, perform, and report about the performance of their financial activities. Findings show quality of information is an important factor for performance enhancement. Therefore, to become or remain competitive need organizations to have good AIS as it helps organizations to formulate better strategies and later achieve better organizational performance. This means quality of information is certainly a strategic factor for organizational survival or prosperity.

Abstract

The research AIMS: 1) to analyze the relationship between organizational behavior and employee career development in the Bureau of Human Resources and Organization Officer of the Ministry of Public Works of South Jakarta. 2) to analyze the relationship between motivation and employee career development in the Bureau of Human Resources and Organization Officer of the Ministry of Public Works of South Jakarta. The numbers of samples are 47 staffs which are represented from every division in Bureau of Human Resources and Organization Officer Ministry of Public Works of South Jakarta. The data collecting is conducted by questionnaire. Correlation analysis is used to analyze the data and to answer the Relationship Between variables X and Y. The result of analysis shows that the variable is organizational culture have a positive and significant relationship with career development variable (r = 0.392, P = 0.000) with a low rate (weak) relationship. Motivation variable have a positive and significant relationship with career development variable (r = 0.486, P = 0.000) with high rate (strong) relationship. Abstract

Construction Industry is an industrial sector with high risk of work accident. Every year work accident at construction industry reached 32% from a whole work accident at Indonesia. Direct loss due to this accident can attain 300 billion every year. According ILO, Indonesia’s occupational safety rate in 2007 ranked at 52nd position out of 53 countries in the world that were surveyed by ILO. The objective of this research is to examine influence of Occupational Health and Safety Management System toward PT X performance’s as one of Contractor Company at Indonesia. Company’s performance that is examined is safety & health performance and competitiveness performance. Data in this research obtained from interview and questionnaire. These data then processed by using statistic descriptive method and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) . The result then evaluated to observe Goodness of Fit (GOF) between model and data. The results from research shows that Occupational Health and Safety Management System influence safety & health performance and competitiveness performance significantly as indicated by result of the research that fulfill criteria of Goodness of Fit. Abstract

This study assesses the personal cultural values and professional values of academicians in regards to marketing ethics. This research uses Singhapakdi and Vitell’s (1993) marketing norms scale and professional value scale together with Yoo and Donthu’s (2002) three dimensional measures of culture operationalised at the individual level. The findings showed that Uncertainty Avoidance and Professional Values influenced academicians’ marketing ethics. It is therefore suggested that managers should look into methods and ways of cultivating professionalism among academicians in order for them to possess good marketing ethics. The findings also showed that demographic factors such as age, gender, years of working experience, academic qualification do not have any influence on academicians’ marketing ethics. Abstract

This research aim to analysis influence of stock split and reverse split to price (measured by daily closing price), liquidity (measured by bid-ask spread) and risk of the stock (measured by standard deviation), seen from there are difference before and after announcement of stock split and reverse split. Period of research during 2004 until 2009 with determination of sample use method of purposive sampling. Amount of taken company as sample 28 emiten of stock split and 7 emiten of reverse split. Secondary data used to be obtained by documentation of ISMD and IDX Statistics Quarterly. Technical analysis used for different test is paired sample t-test if data have normal distribution, if distribution of data is not normal used wilcoxon signed ranks test. While to test distribution of data used Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. The result of research show that there are difference of price among period before and after announcement of stock split and reverse split (Ha1 and Ha2 proven). Same with that, spread have difference too among period before and after reverse split (Ha4 proven). While spread didn’t have difference among period before and after announcement of stock split (Ha3 unprovable). Risk of stocks didn’t have difference among period before and after stock split and reverse split (Ha5 and Ha6 unprovable). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of bond rating on stock returns. Sample of this study covers 20 firms listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research period is from 2006 until 2008. Controlling for systematic risk, earning per share and liquidity, the result show that bond rating has insignificant effect on stock returns. This suggests the bond rating announcement has no news to the investor. Further, contrast to the theory, the coefficient of bond rating is positive meaning the higher risk the low return and vice versa. Keywords : Bond Rating, Stock Return, Liquidity

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to clearly describe about service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty of SnowBay Waterpark TMII. This research used descriptive and explanatory method. Unit analysist of this research is the visitors of SnowBay Waterpark TMII that have ever visit SnowBay before and are in the age or above 17th years old. Total sampel of this research are 200 respondences. The analysis tools that are used in this research are SPSS 16.0 and SEM 8.7. The result of the descriptive analysis in this research shows: (1) tangibles become the most contribute dimension toward service quality; (2) attributes related to purchases become the most contribute dimension toward customer satisfaction; (3) advocate become the most contribute dimension toward customer loyalty. The result of hypothesis testing are: (a) service quality has positive and significant effect toward customer satisfaction, with t-value 10.76 or t-value > 2; (b) service quality does not has significant effect toward customer loyalty, with t-value 0.15 or t-value < 2; (c) customer loyalty has positive and significant effect toward customer loyalty, with t-value 5.39 or t-value > 2. Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe clearly about product quality, service quality and customer satisfaction in dealer Suzuki Fatmawati, Jakarta Selatan. The method is descriptive and explanatory research survey. The samples taken are customers who do service in dealer Suzuki Fatmawati, Jakarta Selatan, with 225 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, research instruments is to use questionnaires, and using multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this descriptive study is product quality variable and service quality variable influence customer satisfaction variable. Results of hypothesis testing showed: 1) Product quality variable negatively affect customer satisfaction variables, 2) Service quality variable has positive influence on customer satisfaction variable; 3) This study shows that the percentage contribution of the influence of independent variables (product quality and service quality) to the dependent variable (customer satisfaction) of 5.6% (R Square). Abstract

This study aims to describe clearly about product quality, service quality, customer Satisfaction and repurchase intention on customer at Ranch Market Pondok Indah South Jakarta . The second objective is to test the influence of product quality and service quality to customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. The third objective is to test the influence of product quality and service quality to customer satisfaction. The fourth objective is to test the influence product quality and service quality to repurchae intention. The fifth objectives is to test the influence customer satisfaction to repurchase intetsion. Population of the research is Ranch Market customer at Pondok Indah South Jakarta. Sampling totaled 160 respondents. Analysis of the research was conducted using SEM (struktural equation model) Lisrel statistical application program version 8.80 for data processing. Descriptive analysis results showed: a) Performance dimension is the most dominant dimension in product quality variable, b) Responsiveness dimension is the most dominant dimension in service quality variable, c) Attribute related to service is the most dominant dimension in customer satisfaction variable, d) Transactional is the most dominant dimension in repurchase intention variable. The results of hypothesis testing are: 1) product quality and service qualitry influence the customer satisfaction and repurchase intention, 2) product quality and service quality influence the customer satisfaction, 3) product qualityand service quality influence the repurchase intention, 4) customer satisfaction influence the repurchase intention. Abstract

The purpose of the research are: 1) To know description for job satisfaction, organization climate, and OCB at PT. Trubus Swadaya. 2) Test empirically influence of job satisfaction towards OCB at PT. Trubus Swadaya. 3) Test empirically influence of organization climate towards OCB at PT. Trubus swadaya. 4) Test empirically influence of job satisfaction and organization climate towards OCB at PT. Trubus Swadaya. The analysis implemented in this research are simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The method of this research is simple random sampling, that taken 59 employees, while data collecting by using quitionaire and cultivated using SPSS 16.0. The result of t test for job satisfaction is 2.386, and the signification is 0.020. This shows that there is an effect between job satisfaction towards OCB. The result of t test for organization climate is 2.288, and the signification is 0.026. This shows that there is an effect between organization climate towards OCB. The result of F test is 5.196, and the signification is 0.009. This shows that there is an effect between job satisfaction and organization climate towards OCB. The result of R2 is 0.157 or 15.7%. It means OCB is affected by job satisfaction and organization climate as much as 15.7%. Keywords: job satisfaction, organization climate, OCB
