Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the motivation improvement and students learning achievement through the implementation of   digital literacy at XI grade TB 1 SMK Negeri 5, Denpasar on the subject of product Cake and Indonesian Kue. The kind of this study is experiment with quantitave analysis techniques by using method of pre-experimental design type one group pre-test & post-test and purposive sampling techniques. The subject of this study is students at grade XI Tata Boga 1 SMK Negeri 5 Denpasar. On pre-test average value of learning motivation the result showed 112.05, with the highest value is 128.00 and the lowest is 97.00. On learning achievement average value the result showed 68.09, the highest value is 80.00 and the lowest is 56.67. When digital literacy implemented on learning process, on post-test all values improved, namely on learning motivation obtained average value 116.72, the highest value is 130.00 and the lowest is 101.00. On learning achievement showed average value is 80.97, the highest value is 86.33 and the lowest is 78.00. So, it can be concluded that by the implementation of digital literacy maximally on learning process was able to improve students motivation and their learning achievement.

Abstract

The Quality Control Group of Midwife Professional Study Program makes maximum efforts in carrying out its main tasks and functions as well as quality control in every lesson in the study program. The obstacle faced is the absence of clinical clerkship evaluation activities by field preceptors on the learning process carried out in study programs through relevant measuring instruments in the form of questionnaires. The purpose research is to create   documented, can be analyzed and followed up As an effort to improve and improve sustainable quality. Type of research is cross-sectional approach. This study used total sampling with respondents from all field preceptors in the practice area of ​​the Health Center, Independent Midwife Practice and network hospitals in the Midwife Professional Education Study Program with a total of 21 respondents. The results of the validity test on the research questionnaire items were 0.001 so all questionnaire items were declared valid. The results of the questionnaire reliability test were > 0.8 so the reliability was very good. The results of average value of the field preceptor on the assessment of the application of the theory are 84.69%, and the assessment of lecturer and student interactions is 78.91%. Furthermore, the assessment of the preparation for clinical clerkship activities was 88.10% the assessment of students regarding clinical clerkship activities was 75.89%. The results of the overall assessment are categorized as very good so that they can be used as a reference for improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 transition period, there were many transitions that had to be made again, one of which was regarding education financing which is a crucial matter within the scope of developing educational institutions/schools. It is undeniable that from the existing reality there are always problems and obstacles regarding financing education during and after Covid 19, causing educational institutions to prioritize budgets to facilitate the running of the educational environment, especially during the Covid period there were still schools that were not maximal in financing as a result learning uncertainty. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of educational financing carried out during the post-covid-19 period so that educational institutions can allocate educational funds as best as possible without burdening students and parents. The method used is the method of literature study. With a philosophical inquiry approach. The results of the research show that, in order to achieve good financing, schools need to understand financial management by looking at the effectiveness and efficiency that is carried out. That way schools don't need to squander a lot of the budget they do. Educational institutions must really understand the effectiveness of financing, by understanding education financing both macro (national) and micro (school) arrangements, as well as several types of educational costs such as direct costs, indirect costs, personal costs. (private costs) social costs (social costs), costs in the form of money (monetary costs) and costs that are not in the form of money (non-monetary costs). The results of managing education costs so that they become effective and efficient management can be seen from internal efficiency which must produce the desired output at maximum cost and external efficiency. This can be seen from the ratio between financial benefits as a result of Education with all costs incurred for the education process.

Abstract

In the process of learning Indonesian, which actually teaches students to be able to think critically, in practice there are obstacles. Learning models that are not accompanied by media that will later make students interested and interested have not been able to maximize the evaluation of learning that has been achieved by students because it makes students lazy and bored in participating in lessons. Developing learning media using Macromedia Flash is a solution that researchers offer based on the needs analysis obtained. The purpose of this research is to be able to develop media for learning on the basis of Macromedia Flash that is applicable, practical and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The method in research uses the R&D method with ADDIE (investigation or analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation or results). In this study, the subjects were 10 students at SDN Lirboyo 1 in a limited trial, and 24 students in class IV-A and 24 students in class IV-B at SDN Lirboyo II in a large-scale trial. The results of this study prove that media for learning in development scores 94.26% for validity, 87.70 for effectiveness and 95.09% for practicality. Based on these results, the researcher concluded that the learning media based on Macromedia Flash which was developed for learning Indonesian was valid, very practical and effective in improving students' skills in critical thinking.

Abstract

The quality of academic services can affect students' satisfaction at the university. The aim of this study was to evaluate students' satisfaction with the academic services provided by lecturers in the bachelor of midwifery study program. A descriptive design was utilized in this study. The population was active Bachelor of Midwifery students, Faculty of Medicine, Andalas University, in 2022, using a sample of 191 respondents with purposive sampling. Indicators of students' satisfaction with academic services included reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Data was collected using a ten-item questionnaire developed by the researchers with a Likert scale (1-4). This study was conducted in October 2022 using an online form. The respondents' level of achievement was in the fairly satisfactory category. The empathy indicator had the highest average TCR value among other indicators and was within the satisfied category. This research may give insight into providing opportunities for faculty management, especially study programs, to overcome weaknesses in the offered services and ensure better academic service quality. In addition, this research will stimulate more research attention on how the quality of academic services by academic supervisors can give better satisfaction to students.

Abstract

One of the most effective means for reinforcing and developing noble character in students whose role is to guide students in understanding and practicing Islamic teachings is through religious education. This study aims to determine the reinforcement strategy of character values ​​in learning aqidah morals at MIN 1 Mataram. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing, while the data validation technique used is increasing persistence and triangulation. The results of this study state that the internalizing character values ​​in teaching aqeedah morals at MIN 1 Mataram is carried out by preparing lesson plans and internalizing character values ​​into the material.

Abstract

This research aims to learn about the Center of Excellence (CoE) Program Implementation Strategy on Electrical Power Installation and the factors that influence the Center of Excellence (CoE) program implementation strategy on electrical power installation engineering expertise competencies at SMK Negeri 1 Sentani. This type of research uses a qualitative approach, research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis techniques use a flow model, namely: data reduction, data display, coclusion drawing/verification.  Research results: SMK Negeri 1 Sentani has designed a strategy to achieve the success of the CoE program. First, develop a network with PT. PLN Sentani Branch and PT. Kabantaras officially through the signing of the MoU. Second, providing optimal services to students focused on curricular services (learning) Third, improve students' abilities by making improvements and developing learning input components. These three strategies support each other to achieve program success in stages. The factors that influence the implementation strategy of the Center of Excellence program are communication factors and resource factors, which are well established between the school, IDUKA instructors, and students, so that the implementation of the CoE program is guided by the strategy. The factors that influence them are capital, curriculum, and infrastructure with IDUKA standards.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the adoption of distance education worldwide, including in 3T regions facing challenges of limited infrastructure and accessibility. The utilization of Big Data holds great potential in enhancing the quality and accessibility of education in these 3T regions. This study aims to analyze the utilization of Big Data in distance education during the pandemic in 3T regions, identify its benefits in personalized learning, monitoring the learning process, and predicting student needs, and provide recommendations for further research. The research approach employed data analysis from a survey involving 500 schools in 3T regions. Data was collected through questionnaires that encompassed the aspects of Big Data usage in distance education and its impact on educational quality in 3T regions. Data analysis reveals that the utilization of Big Data in distance education in 3T regions has significantly contributed to student data collection and analysis, monitoring the learning process, and predicting student needs. These findings are consistent with previous research that highlights the benefits of Big Data in personalized learning and educational performance management. The utilization of Big Data in distance education in 3T regions during the pandemic holds immense potential in improving the quality and accessibility of education. Adequate training and education should be provided to teachers and school staff regarding the utilization of Big Data.

Abstract

Character education in Baubau City has not benefited the current young generation. Thus, the younger generation can use past lessons to strengthen education in the present. The aim of this research is to find out the contribution of the history of the 19th century Buton sultanate to the character education of the young generation of Baubau City. The research method is qualitative research, namely research that does not use numerical calculations and describes the facts found in the field in a structured and systematic way. The main data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that 1) The contribution of the 19th century Sultanate of Buton to character education for the younger generation regarding ethical values ​​in society is very important and can bring great benefits to individuals and society as a whole, 2) Sultan Muhammad Idrus Kaimudin's strong contribution in strengthening the values ​​of honesty in society, and 3) Sultan Muhammad Idrus Kaimudin's contribution regarding the value of education in society is very large because education does not only provide knowledge, but also forms the character, attitudes, and values ​​needed in social life.

Abstract

Students who have grown accustomed to online instruction may experience cognitive dissonance while transitioning back to traditional classroom settings due to Covid-19's oversight. The creation of a blended learning module that incorporates online and in-person instruction is one approach to resolving the issue of how to carry out the learning process. This research set out to answer two questions: (1) how one might go about creating a blended learning module, and (2) whether or not such a module might be used effectively to teach Buddhist religious education content to seventh-semester middle school. Cennamo and Kalk's Spiral model is used for this study. In the spiral model, you first define the problem, then create a solution, then show how it works, and last deliver the solution. The average proportion, based on questionnaire data from large-scale experiments, was 92.24%. This blended learning module of Buddhist religious education has been found to be quite viable in order to be used for seventh grade students in junior high schools in Blitar Regency, as per the previously established requirements. Blended learning-based module solutions are suitable for usage as demonstrated by the results of completed questionnaires from content experts and media experts. The average percentage acquired in the massive study, as calculated by the table data from the questionnaires, was 92.24%. The integrated learning module for Buddhist religious education has been found to be quite viable in order to be used and applied to pupils in Blitar Regency's seventh grade of junior high school. After that, SPSS factor analysis indicated that the KMO and Bartlett's Test values were both more than 0.5, indicating that the product was viable. As a result, the study determines that the module can be used.
