Abstract

Not only books, learning history can also be done by coming directly to historical sites, such as the bubrah mosque which can be used as a social study learning resource on the life of Indonesian society. The purpose of this study was to determine the utilization and relevance of the historical site of langgar bubrah as a social study learning resource. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection by interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study indicate that Langgar Bubrah is a historical relic of the Hindu-Buddhist and Islamic period with some evidence of the types of buildings and religious elements contained therein. There is a relevance of social studies learning with the breaking bubrah site, so that the site can be used as a social study learning resource for class VII KD 3.4. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the material and students will get messages of value from historical events related to the Bubrah Langar site.

Abstract

The study conducted in this article aims to know the teacher's efforts and elements in schools in instilling anti-corruption values at SMP AS-Syifa in advantage of anti-corruption values taught to citizenship education (PPKN). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The culture of corruption is familiar in Indonesia therefore the importance of planting anti-corruption values. Anti-Corruption Culture is duly taught in learning. The role of teachers at schools not only teaches learning materials, but rather forming the personality of learners to have a concern, honesty, responsibility, discipline, simplicity, independence, and hard work that teaches at school. Not only limited through the role of teachers alone planting anti-corruption values is realized but many aspects that can support it can run well that is through the elements in school. Planting of anti-corruption values can be implanted to learners with various things to create a tanned generation of laws and rules. But the reality of schools not many teaches that indicator of good anticorruption in the elementary level to high school level. The leader of the educator, especially the teacher of the Citizenship Education Studies (PPKN) is essential in realizing the anti-corruption generation in the education environment. This is done to create critical learners and are oriented to the application of anti-corruption values in everyday life.

Abstract

Social studies education is a form of integration of the social sciences and humanities which aims to make students able to be independent, responsive, responsible and think critically about a social problem that occurs in their surroundings. Of-course this will have an impact on changes that make progress in society and the country. A framework that understands that social studies education is a reflection of civilized national character is needed in the midst of the Society 5.0 era which requires society to be able to control and balance artificial intelligence and social intelligence in order to solve all kinds of national problems. Society 5.0 provides an illustration that everything can be moved and connected through data, including in it as an effort to overcome social problems in society. Social studies education is very strategic because it can balance the two things. This is in accordance with the flow of progressive philosophy which emphasizes the word progress in changes that lead to a good direction. In particular, this writing has the aim of bringing more open and broader thinking about the development of the times so that it is more perceptible that an education aims to lead to better progress. This writing uses a library study method. From the results of this literature study resulted in writing the implementation of the philosophy of progressivism in social studies education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop ideas related to strengthening character education according to the Pancasila Student Profile which is integrated in social studies learning. Applied Islam-based social studies learning is an integration of social studies material with the values of the Islamic religion that are adapted to the six dimensions in the Pancasila student profile, namely faith, piety to God and noble character, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity. Through a literature study on the theory of the relation of science and religion, Barbour and Wilber Serts collected several relevant previous studies which were then used as an analytical tool to find formulas for character education in social studies learning. The findings show that the idea of Applied Islamic Social Studies Learning in strengthening Pancasila profile character education can be carried out by internalizing the Islamic religious values related to IPS material. The six dimensions in the Pancasila student profile form the basis for social studies learning by constructing learning materials according to Islamic religious values. Students are not only equipped with cognitive abilities but also instilled attitudes and skills so that character is realized according to the Pancasila student profile.

Abstract

Preservation of Burnt Written Batik by Craftsmen in Bakaran Village, Pati Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out the various efforts made by batik craftsmen in preserving Bakaran batik in Bakaran Village, Juwana District, Pati Regency.  The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study approach.  The research sample is Bakaran batik craftsmen, government, employees, and consumers.  The results showed that the efforts of craftsmen in preserving Bakaran's batik had been carried out in various ways, namely promoting by participating in exhibitions, providing training and motif development, making batik educational tours, and forming batik groups.  Based on the analysis conducted using the AGIL concept from Parsons structural functionalism theory, it shows that the efforts made by batik craftsmen in preserving Bakaran batik are in accordance with the AGIL concept, namely: Adaptation (A) developing motifs;  making various products from batik, Goal attainment (G) promoting batik through exhibitions;  making batik educational tours, Integration (I) the formation of batik groups as a relationship between fellow craftsmen and also with the government, Latency (L) the process of inheriting batik knowledge by providing training to the younger generation and the community.  With these various forms of effort, it can be said that the preservation of Bakaran's written batik carried out by craftsmen has been going quite well, although there are still some shortcomings.  Therefore, conservation efforts must be further improved so that later it will get better results.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the conversion of land from rice fields to non-rice fields that occurs in rural communities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes and impacts of land conversion from rice fields to non-rice fields in rural communities. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. This research was conducted in Sumber Makmur Village, Sungai Rumbai District, Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province. Data collection methods were carried out in several ways, namely: non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document data collection. The withdrawal of informants was carried out by purposive sampling technique and the informants in this study were rice farmers who experienced changes in their livelihoods from rice fields to non-rice fields. The unit of analysis of this research is individuals who experience changes in their livelihoods and data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model with several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that from 1,500 residents in Sumber Makmur 90% changed the function of land from rice fields to non-rice fields. The cause is the first land function: rice has failed to harvest, the second is the increasing need for life, the yield of rice that is obtained is uncertain. As a result, the change of land function from rice fields to non-rice fields or land conversion has an impact on natural disasters, job losses and production decreases.

Abstract

The low level of creativity and the understanding of students in the process of learning sociology a problem we are very classical at school. This research has the aims to describe the implementation of the Canva Infographic-based on PjBL (Project Based Learning) method in terms of increasing students' understanding and creativity. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. The results of this research are that through the Canva Infographic-based PjBL method, students become more active and creative in the learning process because students are a source of learning. Students search for the material to be studied themselves then present and discuss the results of the PjBL that have been done. Students creativity are based on the creativity of students infographics, the originality of the project and the smoothness and flexibility of the presentation and discussion process. The process of learning this project consists of several stages of the student learning process, namely collecting information, doing projects, presenting and discussing. Based on these stages, the PjBL method learning process was successful in increasing students' understanding and creativity.

Abstract

Education in this era requires technology as a supporting facility in facilitating the learning process. Based on observations made at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberejo, it was found that the history learning media used was simple, and the learning was still teacher-centered. Monotonous subject matter and teaching concepts that only memorize textbooks make students lazy to study. This problem affects students' historical awareness. The historical awareness of students at SMAN 1 Sumberejo is still low, as evidenced by the results of the distribution of students' historical awareness questionnaires in class X IPS of SMAN 1 Sumberejo, which obtained an average score of only 63.05 or around 42.03%. This study aims to determine how effective mobile learning-based history learning media is in increasing students' historical awareness at SMAN 1 Sumberejo. The method used in this research is the experimental research method. Based on the discussion results, it can be concluded that using mobile learning-based historical learning media at SMAN 1 Sumberejo has proven effective in increasing students' historical awareness. This conclusion is based on hypothesis H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted because the independent sample t-test obtained a sig of 0.000. Or the t value has a significance level (2-tailed) < (0.05).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implications of a broken home in religious character education in Samirejo Kudus Village. The qualitative research method used in this study is by using a case study technique to find out more deeply and in detail about a phenomenon or problem to be studied. The results of the study show that religious character education for broken home children is by giving advice or telling in a kind and slow way, giving rewards or gifts when children want to obey and giving small punishments when children make mistakes, providing knowledge and direction as detailed as possible, as well as sending their children to Islamic-based educational institutions such as madrasas, Islamic boarding schools, and TPQ.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the use of quizizz application media affects the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMPN 189 Jakarta. The method in this research is quantitative experiment with the One Shot Case Study experimental design, in this study there is no control class and only one class sample will be given treatment. Data collection techniques in this study using test techniques, observation, questionnaire/ questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study are as follows: The results of the study show that the Quizizz Application variable and the Class VIII Student Learning Outcomes variable at SMPN 189 Jakarta have some of the results of the calculation analysis. The calculation of t count is reinforced by the results of the t count > t table or (9.506 > 1.697) and a significance value of 0.000 is less than 0.05, which means that Ha is accepted, and Ho is rejected with a significance value smaller than 0.05, namely (0.000 < 0, 05). So, it can be concluded that the Variable Use of the Quizizz Application partially has a significant influence on Learning Outcomes.
