Abstract

Penelitian stigma sosial terhadap penyintas Covid-19 di Kabupaten Klaten bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan stigma dan dampak stigma sosial yang dialami oleh penyintas Covid-19. Dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan metode kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dan melibatkan 20 informan yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Teori stigma Erving Goffman digunakan sebagai pisau analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para penyintas Covid-19 dan keluarganya mengalami variasi bentuk stigma sosial. Pertama, setelah dinyatakan positif covid-19, mereka dilabeli sebagai penyebar dan penular virus Covid-19. Kedua, muncul massive stereotype yang menghakimi mereka sebagai individu berbahaya, menakutkan, dan terus menularkan virus. Ketiga, mereka telah dikucilkan secara terencana dan terpisahkan dalam interaksi sosial. Keempat, berkembang juga tindakan diskriminatif dalam kegiatan sosial dan pekerjaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kelima, stigma sosial telah menjadi penyebab utama para penyintas Covid-19 telah mengidap stress, cemas, khawatir, sakit hati, emosi tinggi, dan trauma. Tindakan stigma sosial kepada penyintas Covid-19 dan dampaknya perlu segera dihentikan agar masyarakat bangkit menjalani kehidupan keluarga yang harmonis dan interaksi sosial yang normal. Abstract

Batik, with a unique style, reflectsthe prosperityofIndonesian culture. UNESCO officially designated batik as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. One of the batiksin Indonesia is original hand-written batik.Batik Gunawan Setiawan is a local batik company remainsproducing traditional hand-written batik. Hand-made batikfaced few problems includingless competitive with printingbatik, scarce raw materials, and the lack of batik artist regeneration. Thisresearch aims to describe Gunawan Setiawan's Batik strategyfor maintainingsustainable written batikbusiness. This study uses structural functionaltheorydeveloped by Talcott Parsons. This is a qualitativestudy supported bya case study approach. The data were collected through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. Data validity was tested with source triangulation. Afteranalyzing datawith data reduction, presentation, and conclusion, fact-findings indicate that to preserve written batikthe current strategycovers batik training program, writtenbatik fashioninnovation, batik-linked socialevents, direct selling promotion, mixed social media branding, joint Kauman batik tourism village,and regular Kauman batik exhibitionin Solo Batik Museum.

Abstract

Abstrak: Fenomena digitalisasi di era revolusi industri 4.0 menjadikan generasi muda terperosok ke dalam nilai-nilai budaya yang tidak sesuai dengan identitas lokal. Berita-berita hoax yang mengandung unsur radikal, ekstrem, dan intoleran semakin marak dikemas dalam platform digital. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Solo Bersimfoni dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter berbasis local culture kepada generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus intrinsik kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu pengurus dan relawan Solo Bersimfoni, serta guru pendamping dan pelajar tim media center dari Sekolah Adipangastuti di Kota Surakarta yang menjadi percontohan dalam penerapan nilai Hasthalaku. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa Solo Bersimfoni berperan sebagai agent of change dalam menghidupkan kembali nilai-nilai budaya kearifan lokal yang dinamakan sebagai Hasthalaku. Upaya Solo Bersimfoni dalam menanamkan nilai Hasthalaku pada generasi Z antara lain: (1) turut mendorong regulasi kepemudaan, (2) turut mendorong Gerakan Revolusi Mental, (3) Capacity Building generasi muda, dan (4) meningkatkan literasi digital.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the social capital of street vendors and its contribution to the business continuity strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research used qualitative research and case study approach. The data obtained in this study are qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Intake of informants using purposive sampling technique. The source of data came from street vendors who trade food or drinks using motorbikes, carts and tents, totaling eight informans. Informants have been trading in this micro business sector for at least two years as their main occupation. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques, through three stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that street vendors build social capital through social relationships with other traders, suppliers, customers, families, parking attendants, local residents, as well as RT and PKK social groups. The Covid-19 pandemic had an impact on drastically decreasing the number of consumers so that it had an effect on sales volume which decreased by 50%. The strategies for maintaining the business continuity of street vendors is related to the continuity of marketing, production and capital. The strategies carried out by street vendors is to strengthen and expand the network of customers, cooperate with other vendors in marketing activities, reduce the amount of production and goods from suppliers, and take advantage of government’s financial aid to help their capital problem

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi terus meningkat termasuk promosi online dan pasar digital. Keduanya memudahkan berbelanja menuju perilaku konsumtif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Pertukaran Sosial karya Peter Blau untuk membahas komunitas Joli Jolan, yang menawarkan transaksi barang, barter, untuk memperkuat peran sosial dalam mencegah perilaku konsumtif. Tujuan penelitian ini membahas komunitas Joli Jolan sebagai pasar alternatif agar masyarakat tidak berperilaku konsumtif di era digital. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini melibatkan dua belas informan, termasuk satu pelopor Joli Jolan, empat anggota tetap, dan tujuh pengunjung. Wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi telah digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data primer dan sekunder, lalu dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyimpulan. Temuan menegaskan bahwa masyarakat hidup berperilaku konsumtif karena faktor eksternal: pemasaran online, promosi, dan kampanye. Sebagai antitesa baru, komunitas Joli Jolan telah membangkitkan pemasaran konvensional: barter, Food Not Boom, workshop, dan pembagian susu gratis. Pengunjung dan anggota Joli Jolan menikmati suasana kehidupan sosial menyenangkan ini. Mereka menikmati pertukaran barang untuk menghemat uang. Mereka menikmati pembicaraan informal, kesenangan dan makanan gratis dari komunitas Joli Jolan. Mereka juga mengikuti lokakarya untuk memahami perilaku konsumtif dan tata kelola kas keluarga. Anggota Joli Jolan mengapresiasi donasi dari masyarakat dan pengunjung. Dana tersebut kemudian mereka gunakan untuk membina lingkungan masyarakat. Dengan demikian, komunitas Joli Jolan telah menjadi a unique social market yang dipercaya dan berkelanjutan dilakukan oleh dan untuk komunitas.

Abstract

The occurrence of increased use of alcoholic beverages in Indonesia. The high use of alcoholic beverages among adolescents is one of the causes of increased use of beverages in Indonesia annually. In 2007 the use of alcoholic beverages among adolescents amounted to 4.9% and a rate of 23% in 2014. This means that as many as 14.4 million Indonesian teenagers are alcoholic beverage users. Therefore, this study aims to understand the causes of alcoholic beverages among adolescents and how the teenagers are using alcoholic beverages. Research is done with qualitative methods by applying in-depth interviews to some informant, observation and document studies. From the research that has been done, it is known that the use of alcoholic beverages is influenced by factors that are inside and outside the individual and the environment have the most important role in the formation of adolescent drinking habits. The use of alcohol at the elementary school level is due to the influence of residential environment while the junior-senior high school level is influenced by social environment. Abstract

This study aims to determine how adolescents who live in the association of adolescent smokers, in protecting themselves from smoking habits. This research uses qualitative research methods using ethnography. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses domain analysis. Smoking habits have mushroomed in adolescent relationships. Smoking behavior is a learned behavior. Family, peers, and the environment determine the teen's thought process before deciding to act. The family becomes an important early socialization agent in the process of hunting teenagers in the community, including regarding cigarettes. The results of this study indicate that self-protection by adolescents arises on the basis of knowledge about smoking obtained in the initial socialization process in the family. Understanding of families arising from smoking habits, based on the experience of their parents. From the understanding capital obtained is self-protection in adolescents, specifically in the smoker association. In addition, other self-protection is arising from adolescent planning about the future in pursuing a hobby in the field of sports. From this knowledge and experience that arises through social interaction makes it a protection against smoking in adolescent relationships.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana remaja yang hidup dalam pergaulan remaja perokok, dalam memproteksi diri dari kebiasaan merokok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisa domain. Kebiasaan merokok telah menjamur dalam pergaulan remaja. Perilaku merokok merupakan perilaku yang dipelajari. Keluarga, teman sebaya, dan lingkungan berpengaruh dalam proses remaja memahami perilaku merokok sebelum memutuskan untuk bertindak. Keluarga menjadi agen sosialisasi awal yang penting dalam proses remaja memahami perilaku yang ada di masyarakat, termasuk perihal rokok. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proteksi diri yang dilakukan remaja timbul atas dasar pengetahuan tentang rokok yang didapatkan dalam proses sosialisasi awal dalam keluarga. Pemahaman dalam keluarga mengenai akibat yang ditimbulkan dari perilaku merokok, berdasar pengalaman orang tua mereka. Dari modal pemahaman yang didapatkan tersebut menjadi proteksi diri dalam pergaulan remaja, khususnya dalam pergaulan perokok. Selain itu, proteksi diri lainnya adalah timbul dari perencanaan remaja mengenai masa depannya dalam menekuni hobi dalam bidang olahraga. Dari pengetahuan dan pengalam tersebut yang timbul melalui interaksi sosial tersebut menjadikannya melakukan proteksi diri dari perilaku merokok dalam pergaulan remaja.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) to Special School Teachers (SLB) in distance learning (PJJ) for Children with Special Needs. There were 4 aspects that would be measured: (1) the level of teacher's understanding of PjBL, (2) the level of teacher needs for PjBL in PJJ during the covid-19 pandemic; (3) the quality of PjBL learning applied by teachers after attending PjBL training, and (4) the impact of PjBL on the learning outcomes of Children with Special Needs (ABK). This type of research was survey research involving 22 special school teachers in Central Java Province. Data were collected using a semi-closed questionnaire, which was then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that teachers' understanding of PjBL was sufficient and the teacher's need for PjBL learning during the COVID-19 pandemic was high. The quality of PjBL learning was considered to be better than conventional learning and the implementation of PjBL had a positive impact on the activity and critical thinking-based learning of students with special needs (ABK).

Abstract

Moral education is a way to instill good behavior ini a person so that we can became a good person and be accepted in social life. Through a community, moral education can be cultivated in a person and of course in the development of child. The purpose of this study was to determine the practice of moral education (Emile Durkheim) in a Solo Mengajar community. This research uses qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Research data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Resource persons in this study were volunteers and students of Solo Mengajar. The results of this study describe the elements of Emile Durkheim’s moral education, the spirit of dicipline, the bond between groups and autonomy of self determination (will) in the Solo Mengajar Community. The spirit of dicipline in this community is seen from the teaching process and the rules that are applied when teaching takes place. The bond between gruops in the Solo Mengajar community begins with building bonds between volunteers through the meetings that are held. By uniting the closeness between these volunteers which then made it easier for them to carry out vatious varied activities to tie the children in the teaching environment. Meanwhile, the volunteers’ understanding of the characteristics of children and their surroundings as well as the problems that occur during the teaching process is self-determination or the will this community. So they can determine what actions or activities they will do at teaching time.Keywords : Community, Moral Education, Solo Mengajar

Abstract

This research aims to identify and explain the role of mothers as single parents in providing educational support to children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theory used in this research is structural functional theory by Talcott Parsons. This research method is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation with triangulation of sources to test the validity of the data. Data analysis used data analysis from Miles and Huberman. The results show that the role of mothers as single parents in carrying out educational functions can run well, namely by providing educational support to children, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely by accompanying children to study, helping children learn, reminding children to actively participate in classes and do their duties,meet learning facilities, and always provide motivation and advice to children. Single mothers also experience various obstacles, namely that they cannot fully and directly accompany their children when learning from home. In addition, single mothers also find it difficult to provide support to their children on their own, because children are sometimes difficult to manage. This happened because there was no father figure in the family.
