Abstract

Petanque characters tend to be sports requiring high accuracy, concentration, and focus. This study aimed to determine students' perceptions and interests in playing Petanque. This study uses qualitative research and data collection using interviews and questionnaires. Scores obtained from the questionnaire were then analyzed using descriptive percentages. The total sample in this study was 20 athletes from senior high school in Magelang Regency. All athletes have completed and agreed to participate by full informed consent. The perception of Petanque athletes in Magelang Regency in the Moderate category by 35%. Athletes' perceptions with the High average categories were 25%, and Low categories were 30%. The interest of petanque athletes in the Magelang Regency is in a Low category of 45%. While athletes' claim in the Very High category was 10%, the High category was 20%, and the Moderate category was 25. This study concluded that the perception of petanque athletes in Magelang Regency was included in the moderate category of 35%. At the same time, the interest level of petanque athletes in Magelang Regency is in the low category of 45%. Further research is expected to determine athletes' motivation and mentality in playing petanque.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cause of injury to male junior athletes 10-11 years old. This Research uses qualitative descriptive methods. Research data sources include male junior athletes 10-11 years old. Data collection techniques use observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study are minor injuries (cramps, bruises on the legs, and abrasions) and severe injuries (injuries to muscles or tendons/strains, ligaments/sprain). Severe injury (dislocation of the shoulder joint, knee joint, thumb of the hand). So, it can be concluded that mild injury in badminton clubs in Indonesia, including on the criteria, is rare, with a percentage range of 43,3%. Then, minor injuries on the criteria occurred, with a percentage range of 66,67%. Severe injuries in the requirements rarely happen, with a percentage range of 33,33 %. Because injuries to male junior athletes aged 10-11 years are included in the criteria ever occurred due to joking with friends at training, the body is in an unhealthy state, the field is uneven or slippery, not serious when warming up, lack of warm-up, lack of concentration when playing badminton does not cool down after the completion of training, and cooling off not seriously.

Abstract

The level of physical activity is one indicator of whether a person is active. This study aims to see the effect of physical activity level on body mass index. The method used in this study is the correlational method which aims to detect the level of physical activity on body mass index during the new normal period. The population in this study were all FIK Cenderawasih University students totalling 387 students. Determined the sample using a simple random sampling technique to obtain a sample of 97 students aged 19 – 24 years consisting of 61 men and 36 women. The data collection technique used the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) instrument to measure the level of physical activity and anthropometric measurements of the body to obtain BMI values. The data analysis results showed that students' physical activity level was dominant in the high category 54.6%, the medium category 30.9%, and the low category 14.4%, besides that. There were differences between the activity levels of males and females. The average level of physical activity for men is in the high category, and the average for women is in the medium category. The study's results found a positive effect of physical activity on the BMI of FIK Cenderawasih University students during the new average period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the drilling method on the shooting results in extracurricular football at the State High School 1 Kalijati. This study uses a quantitative approach. If viewed from the type of data presented, the method in this study is an experimental study. The sample used is a total sampling of 30 students. The results of the research on the effect of the drilling method on the shooting results in extracurricular football at the State High School 1 Kalijati obtained a minimum pretest value of 1, a maximum of 12 and a mean of 5.13 and a Standard Deviation of 3.213, while for the posttest the minimum value of 3 was obtained, a maximum of 15 and the mean is 8.33 with a Standard Deviation of 3.021. Based on the results of calculations with data processing research results, it can be concluded that the drilling method on the shooting results in football extracurriculars at SMAN 1 Kalijati has an effect.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the movement coordination learning model on the development of basic motor movements in elementary school-aged children. A total of 50 students became research subjects taken randomly from a total population of 83 people. This study uses an experimental model with "one group pre-test-post test design". The instrument used in this study was the Basic Motor Movement test, which consisted of agility tests, standing long jumps, wall fittings using tennis balls, sprints, flexibility, upright jumps, running coordination, and static balance tests. Data analysis used a statistical approach through SPSS series 20. This study concludes that the Movement Coordination Learning Model affects essential motor development in elementary school-age children. A program recommendation in the future should be planned and prepared for a long-term program to enable children to develop their fundamental motor movements and bring them to the point where they will be ready to improve their abilities at the next level because they have a strong foundation in their psychomotor development phase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of contextual approach-based animation media in Physical, Sport, and Health Education (PJOK) learning for fourth-grade elementary school students. This research is a development method that refers to the ADDIE model. ADDIE development research consists of five stages, namely (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The data analysis technique of this research uses the results of the review of learning content experts, learning design experts, and media experts in the form of input, feedback, criticism, and suggestions for improvement contained in the questionnaire and the percentage score. The results showed that the learning animation media based on the contextual approach PJOK for fourth-grade elementary school students produced learning products suitable for the learning process. Thus, this study concludes that by learning resources using animated media based on a contextual approach, students are more enthusiastic by having a high interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of balance training on shooting results in Riau petanque athletes and the effect of concentration training on shooting results in Riau petanque athletes and investigating the effect of balance training and concentration training on shooting results in Riau petanque athletes. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with the research design "Two Group Pretest Posttest Design". The instrument used to test the shooting ability is the number game shooting station 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with a distance of 6 meters, 7 meters, and 8 meters. , and 9 meters. The subjects in this study were Riau Petanque athletes, totalling 32 sons, which were taken from the total sampling results. The results of this study: 1) There is an effect of balance training exercises on the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes. 2) there is an effect of concentration training on the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes. 3) there is an influence between balance training and concentration training on the shooting results of Riau petanque athletes. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that balance and concentration training significantly affect the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes based on the paired samples test. Then from the two exercises, the concentration exercise is better than the balancing exercise, based on the independent samples test. It can be interpreted that balance and concentration training influence the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes. Still, concentration exercises have.

Abstract

This study was 1) to analyze and determine the relationship between nutritional status and basic locomotor movements in early childhood. 2) Analyzing and knowing the relationship between emotional intelligence and basic locomotor movements in children. 3) Analyzing and knowing the relationship between age and basic locomotor movements in children. 4) Analyzing and knowing the relationship between nutritional status, emotional intelligence and age on basic locomotor movements in early childhood. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation design. The population in this study is kindergarten children in District XIII Koto Kampar. The sampling technique used purposive sampling consisting of 180 children. The results of this study: 1) There is a relationship between nutritional status and basic locomotor movements. 2) There is a relationship between emotional intelligence and basic locomotor movements. 3) There is a Relationship between Nutritional Status and Basic Locomotor Movements. 4) There is a relationship between nutritional status, emotional intelligence, and age on basic locomotor movements. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status, emotional intelligence, and age on basic locomotor movements in early childhood, based on simultaneous regression tests. This means that the higher the nutritional status, emotional intelligence, and age of the child, the more active the child's basic locomotor movements are.

Abstract

The physical component and food intake are significant factors in football. The aims of this study were 1) to identify materials and media for physical exercise and diet management for soccer athletes and 2) to map physical training materials and diet management for soccer athletes. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Four-D (4D) model. The population in this study were football athletes and coaches. The sample consisted of 82 athletes and football coaches from PSMS Medan. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results showed that 95% of the sample agreed that all physical training material needs to be known by football athletes. The material indicators are anatomy and physiology, components of the physical conditions required in soccer, energy systems, principles of soccer physical training, training volume and intensity, training stages, preparation stages, training stages, match stages, training stages, transitions, and recovery exercises as well as weight training. This study also showed that 95.3% of the sample required an assessment or assessment of nutritional data on soccer athletes, such as body measurements/anthropometrics, body composition measurements, and dietary and healthy history. The conclusion of the study is that diet management material that athletes and soccer coaches need to know is Sports Classification According to the Metabolic System, Assessment or Assessment of Nutritional Data on Soccer Athletes, Nutritional Problems in Soccer Athletes, Nutritional Interventions in Soccer Athletes; Monitoring and Evaluation of Nutrition in Football Athletes.

Abstract

Learning achievement is the result of evaluating students using tools after the learning process is carried out in a planned manner, both in terms of material and time. The desired learning achievement is adjusted to the types and activities in research or measurement. Whether or not participants achieve optimal performance can be influenced by several factors, including psychological factors (self-esteem) and physiological factors (physical fitness). This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and physical fitness on learning achievement. The research subjects were 120 Jabal Toriq Boarding School Senior High School. This research is quantitative research with a correlational design. The study results show a significant relationship between self-esteem and physical fitness in the learning achievement of Jabal Toriq Boarding School High School students in 2021/2022, Even during the Semester Academic Year on PJOK subject matter. This is evidenced by the value of p < significance level (0.000 < 0.05) and also the correlation level of 0.892, which is included in the interval (0.80 – 1.000) powerful category
