Abstract

There were problems related to student achievement in class XII MIPA 3 so it is necessary to find a solution through a study. The purpose of this research was to improve the physics learning achievement of direct current electric material in class XII MIPA 3 academic year 2019/2020 through the application of the discovery learning method. The research was conducted in Class XII of SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. Implementation time is from July to September 2019. Based on the results of learning activities Direct Current Electrical Material physics that have been carried out for three cycles, and based on all the discussions and analyzes that have been carried out, it can deactivate the Physics learning of Direct Current Electricity material by active learning. positive impact in increasing student achievement overcoming the increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely cycle I (60%), cycle II (73%), cycle III (90%). The application of the active learning method of the Discovery Learning method in Physics subjects has a positive effect, namely it can increase student motivation as indicated by the average student's answer which states that students are interested and interested in learning models so that they become motivated to learn. The application of the active learning method of the Discovery Learning method in Physics subjects can improve mastery of Physics subjects with the subject of Direct Current Electricity and understanding the meaning contained therein.

Abstract

This research was based on problems related to economic learning achievement in class XII IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu. The solution to this problem was applying discovery research learning. The purpose of this research was to improve the learning achievement of economics through discovery research learning in class XII IPS 2 SMA Negeri 2 Siak Hulu. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that student learning achievement had increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely, cycle I (67.6%,), cycle II (81%), cycle III (91%). The conclusion of this research is that the Discovery Research Method can improve student achievement in SMAN 2 Siak Hulu Class XII IPS 2 for the 2019/2020 academic year, and this learning model can be used as an alternative for implementing learning material in Economics. The teaching model of the Discovery Research Method can make students feel they get attention and the opportunity to express opinions, ideas, ideas and questions. Students can work independently or in groups, and are able to be responsible for all individual and group tasks. The application of learning with the Discovery Research Method has a positive effect, which can increase student learning creativity.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to maximize long jump abilities by improving performance in Class X students of SMAN 2 Siak Hulu in the 2019/2020 school year. This study used two rounds of action research. Each round consists of two meetings, with stages of design, activity and observation. Reflection and revision. The target of this research is Class X students from the data obtained in the form of practical test results, observation sheets for teaching and learning activities. 81%) and cycle III (91%). The conclusion of this study is that the method of improving performance can have a positive effect on the learning motivation of Class X Mathematics and Natural Sciences 4 students and the learning model can be used as an alternative physical education.

Abstract

The intersection of two lines was studied in grade 7, junior high school. This geometry material is very important, as the basic 3 dimensions that students will learn at the high school level. Exploring and persuading the two properties of vertical lines is the most difficult thing in teaching. Traditional teaching uses methods such as observation, drawing, measurement, and comparison to derive the properties of vertical lines, and expresses the properties of vertical lines in finer words, which easily create greater difficulty for students to understand. This research uses research and development methods, tries to use mathematical software to teach lines and angles and optimizes the basic concept of lines and angles. The results of this study provide specific references to the graphs and geometry of junior high school mathematics.

Abstract

For most students, mathematics is difficult, boring, and not fun. However, mathematics is of great help in terms of academic performance and the development of students' calculation ability and abstract logical thinking. So how to make students like mathematics? How to improve students' mathematical ability? In response to these two doubts, this article designed the following teaching links based on HPM. The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative by describing the lesson plan on arithmetic material. The sample and population were grade 3, Elementary school, in Guilin, China. The results showed that in the real class, it was found that students were very interested in the "Digital Black Hole" game, their mathematical calculation ability and the ability to find problems All have improved a lot. This shows that under the guidance of HPM, eliciting mathematics teaching through mathematics culture can help increase students’ interest in mathematics, and students are also more aware that there are many magical relationships between numbers and numbers, which are worthy of us. Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to increase learning motivation and mastery of E-learning by using the Zenius application in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Kampar Utara in the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 32 people. This research was conducted from the beginning of April 2020 until the end of April 2020. This research is a classroom action research conducted online using several questionnaires, the link of which is sent to students through their WhatsApp group. This online research was conducted because it did not allow the writer to conduct research directly to school because at this time the teaching and learning process was carried out online. This online learning is due to the spread of the COVID-19 corona virus in almost all countries including Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 03 Sukarasa on the material on the mind map material from nonfiction stories. This study uses a classroom action research method which is divided into 3 learning cycles. The research aims to improve student learning outcomes through learning using visual media. This study was applied to 8 samples with the duration of the study consisting of 6 meetings. Based on the value analysis shows that there is an increase in student learning outcomes both from cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. This is because in cycle II learning activities by adding learning media in the form of visual media have a good effect on student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by the increase in the mean value of students. Likewise with the addition of learning media in the form of pictures and learning videos and discussions, question and answer with students in learning cycle III has had a very good influence on student learning outcomes, understanding of the subject matter being taught and the activeness of students and providing a different atmosphere in activities learning.

Abstract

Students' diverse abilities, both in terms of knowledge, and speed in receiving lessons, can be overcome by applying a cooperative learning model. One of them is the snow balling learning strategy, where in this lesson students can discuss problems and then solve them together with group friends. This study was conducted to determine whether there was an increase in student learning outcomes and activities during the implementation of the snow balling learning strategy in class VIII-B of SMPN 236 Jakarta, especially on the subject of straight line equations. The intended student learning outcomes are viewed in terms of cognitive, while student activities are viewed from the number of activities carried out during material explanation and group discussions. This study used a qualitative approach with the type of classroom research conducted in class VIII-B of SMPN 236 Jakarta. The results showed that the application of the snow balling learning strategy could improve the learning activities and mathematics learning outcomes of students as indicated by the increase in students' test scores from the initial test to the final test of activity III. The mean score of the initial test was 49.2; the final test of activity I was 54.6; the activity test II was 65.7, the activity test III was 73.5. The percentage of the number of students who met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) also increased, namely 13.04% in activity I, 45.83% in activity II, and 58.33% in activity III. The KKM of mathematics subject at SMPN 236 Jakarta is 75. The results of this study indicate that the application of the snow balling learning strategy is an alternative in selecting cooperative learning strategies that can be applied in the classroom by teachers with the aim of increasing learning outcomes and student activities in the learning process.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the problem of Learning based on Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for high school / MA students in biological materials in the COVID-19 era. This research is qualitative research with a fenomenology approach. Data collection techniques in research are observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The technique of ensuring the validity of data is triangulation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study can be concluded that SMA Negeri 12 Kerinci students have difficulty in understanding the concepts and learning materials and teachers has difficulty in practicing and evaluating learning outcomes, SMA Negeri 4 Kerinci students lack motivation and participation in learning and teachers have difficulty in making teaching materials, and MAS Koto Rendah students often experience internet network disruptions, students are less active in learning, and students have low motivation to learn virtually and teachers have difficulty in making teaching materials and explaining materials.

Abstract

Along with the times, technology in its development certainly brings changes to life, especially in the world of education which will also continue to experience development. This article aims to determine the role of educational technology in improving the quality of education in this progressive era. So it is hoped that educational technologists will no longer feel doubtful and interested in adapting and being able to take advantage of technology with all its benefits in educational life. In writing this article we use a literature review method (library research), where researchers collect materials related to research from books, journals, scientific articles, literature and mass media coverage by describing and describing the data. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that educational technology was created to solve learning problems by facilitating and providing alternatives and new innovations in the world of education. That way educational technology can make it easier to achieve educational goals.
