Abstract

Grabag TV merupakan salah satu televisi komunitas yang telah beroperasi di Indonesia. Berdiri pada tahun 2004 di Kecamatan Grabag, Kabupaten Magelang, Jawa Tengah. Televisi ini bersifat non komersial. Salah satu program acara yang ditayangkan adalah Gendu-Gendu Roso. Acara ini merupakan dialog interaktif yang bertujuan sebagai ruang untuk menampung aspirasi masy arakat Grabag. Masalah ini kemudian difokuskan pada bagaimana penerimaan masyarakat terhadap program acara Gendu-Gendu Roso sebagai media penyalur aspirasi masyarakat yang sesuai dengan tujuan dan idealisme lembaga penyiaran Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini agar pembaca mampu memahami bagaimana penerimaan khalayak terhadap program acara yang ditayangkan di televisi komunitas dan faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi penerimaan khalayak tersebut. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah reception analysis/ analisis penerimaan. Pendekatan ini digunakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana khalayak menerima isi pesan yang disampaikan oleh media dilihat dari berbagai faktor kontekstual yang ikut mempengaruhi. Penerimaan khalayak akan diperoleh berdasarkan proses panjang yang kemudian menjadi pengalaman berharga dalam diri khalayak dan membentuk pola pikir dan cara pandang yang berbeda-beda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan masyarakat terhadap acara Gendu-Gendu Roso dalam mempertahankan kebebasan berbicara masuk dalam kategori resepsi dominant dimana masyarakat sepakat bahwa acara tersebut mampu menjadi wadah penyalur aspirasi, begitu pula penerimaan khalayak terhadap penggunaan setting acara juga masuk dalam resepsi dominant. Sementara itu penerimaan khalayak terhadap informasi masuk dalam resepsi dominant dan negotiated. Pembahasan terakhir tentang penggunaan bahasa daerah dalam acara tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa penerimaan khalayak masuk dalam resepsi dominant, negotiated dan oppositional. Bagi masyarakat yang masuk dalam kategori oppositional berarti bahwa penggunaan bahasa daerah tersebut tidak dapat diterima dengan baik. Penerimaan masyarakat terhadap program acara yang ditayangkan di televisi komunitas tidak lah sama. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti latar belakang sosial, pekerjaan, umur, jenis kelamin dan lingkungan tempat tinggal khalayak.Kata kunci: reception analysis, khalayak aktif, televisi komunitas, positioning khalayak.

Abstract

Urban landscape photography is not a new thing in photography. It’s similar with temple or street photography, only that the objects in focus are in urban regions. By using lomography camera the urban landscapes are caputered in special manners that new, extraordinary images appear. Abstract

Local television station as one form of public broadcast media have the same role in organizing the national private television broadcasts, such as in Jakarta. Although the majority of the material broadcast was inspired by various aspects of life in the area, sometimes some of the programs broadcast before it is seeded and got a good response and interest by the audience watching it. One example is a special broadcast program material lifting of traditional art forms and cultures that are sometimes presented with a more varied format. Such as local television, Jogja TV, has now become an expectation, especially for people who are in the range of broadcasting (public areas) as one of the effective media to contribute to developing the arts and culture while preserving valuable areas of Yogyakarta (Java). As a Special Region is expected to achieve a dynamic society and high culture, so as to develop the basis that there is a tradition of innovation in all spheres of social life of art and culture, economics, and science and technology as a form of community life in dynamic city as YogyakartaKeywords: local art, local culture, preservation and development, local television, Jogja TV.

Abstract

The benefits of photography as a tool for an effective and reliable communicating, are summarized in Photo journalistic . In one side, photography has the feel of reality in detail the reliable, furthermore, photography is also a more rapidly digested, knew and understood. So the response and reaction will be given to the information that there will be more quickly and precisely. Moreover with the invention of digital technology will shorten the process of delivering information to better results and faster. Through a combination of drawings and manuscripts, photographs contained in a newspaper or magazine will give us information as is appropriate. Because the image is recorded based on trust-owned, which is something that is absolutely necessar y to inform the sustainability of human life on this earth. In addition, not only, the works of photo-journalistic produced have the factual, reality and detail that is strong, but also contains the values of the beauty of high, given the work that was created by a photojournalist eye will be seen by millions of human beings throughout the world through the mass media both print and electronically.Keywords: Photography, Mass Media, Script.

Abstract

The selection of photography work object was not always in the beautiful shape. The uniqueness of an object could become its own attraction and inspiration in creating the photography work. The expression of the composition and visualization in a work art became the characteristic of the artist himself. Gurat Karat was a concept of photography work art which explored the shape, texture and color of the rust of metal, especially in the rust of iron. We could explore the simple items in our surrounding which were not longer used and already broken. The iron which was rusted had its own uniqueness and attraction to observe. The change of the characteristic and the shape was v ery contrast. Before being rusted, the surface of the iron would be smooth, but after being rusted, the surface would be rough and the color would change. It was a result of rusting process of the iron itself. The phenomenon eventually stimulated the researcher to take the rust theme of the iron as an object in this photography work art creation. In arranging this photography work, the researcher used esthetic theory of Monroe Beardsley which listed three basic esthetic charac teristics as follow: unity, intensity and complexity. The visual work in 3D display created the image of space and dimension in this work. Colase technique was used in creating this work by combining 2D photography work and the object in the original item in the photography work itself, or using the construction which was suitable with the stuck object which was adjusted with the weight of that object. In a display, this work was not only enjoyed by the sense of sight but also the sense of touch since the texture in this work art could be touch.Keywords : Expressie Photography, Rust, and Collage

Abstract

This study is to explore the strategy of awakening of The Unyil ‘Indonesian puppet film at television’. “The Unyil” is one of the popular children’s show on 1980's era until the early 1990's. Meanwhile “Laptop Si Unyil” premiered in Trans7 broadcast on March 19, 2007. The main characters used in this program is a puppet show “The Unyil”. This study focuses on the finding of new concept of ‘The Unyil’ in order to be able to re-life. Some perspectives would be analyzed such as program theme, style of storytelling, the use of narrator, and narrative structure.Keywords: program theme, narrative structure, style of storytelling, the use of anarrator.

Abstract

Visual signing at advertisement is a meaning attaching effort, considering almost all of the advertised products did not have specific value. A number of products can be replaced by other brand within same category. Usually, in marketing communications world, this kind of product has a lot of competitors. Having no differentiation causing the product has no meaning in the consumers’ mind. Abstract

This study is to explore how the voiceover or dubbing can fulfill all the criteria of a good job in the perspective of Target Language user. To produce voiceover or dubbing in kid film program is really a multi-dimensional job.. The first dimension is the linguistic aspects which rules two languages both source language (SL) and target language (TL). Sometimes we find a very long phrase or clause in SL and we finally get the voiceover or dubbing as a quite short phrase or clause and the vice versa. The second dimension is the scope of the social culture that also covers both sides. Sometimes, we find a very difficult terminology in SL to find the acceptability in TL. It is because the specific use relating to every social and cultural background. English has many words that is hardly fond in Indonesia Language. The next dimension is naturality. How a composition in SL should be voiceover or dubbing in the same naturality in the sense of TL. All of those conditions should be answered to the bet solution by the director of voice over or dubbing. Therefore the results must consider the naturalness language dubbing for children. Vocabulary is selected in such a way that the story can get into the domestic children. The subject of this study is Kid Film Program ‘Pocoyo’ episode A Little Drummer and the Indonesian voice over or dubbing version.Keywords: dubbing, the source language, target language
