Abstract

Public health centres (Puskesmas) are one of the most important health service facilities for people in Indonesia, therefore it is important to improve the access of communities towards good quality health services, including access to basic health services. The service quality of Public health centres must stem from the needs and expectations of the general public. Parasuraman et al identified 5 components in service quality, namely: Tangiblity, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Emphaty. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the perception of outpatients towards the service quality at Cilegon. The sample for this study were patients who underwent treatment in the Public Health Centers, aged ≥ 17 years, and as many as 258 respondents. The results of the study showed a proportion of 46.1% who had a good perception towards the quality of outpatient services at the Cilegon Community Health Center. Univariate analysis showed a proportion of 44.2% who had a good perception in the physical evidence component, a proportion of 74% who had a good perception in the reliability component, a proportion of 76.7% who had a good perception in the responsiveness component, a proportion of 78.7% who had a good perception in the assurance component and a proportion of 81.8% who had a good perception in the empathy component. Bivariate analysis found a relationship between internal factors and the perception of the health service quality, namely interest (p = 0.005, PR = 4.138), expectation (p = 0.005, PR = 9.301), and knowledge (p = 0.005, PR = 6.89). The most dominant factor related to perception is expectation.

Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) adalah jenis baru pneumonia yang sangat menular. Ibu hamil merupakan populasi beresiko tinggi selama masa pandemi ini. Di Dunia sudah tercatat 55 ibu hamil yang terinfeksi COVID-19 (Dashraath, 2020). Dampak COVID-19 menyebabkan dampak psikologis yang menyebabkan kekhawatiran dalam memeriksakan kehamilannya (Mullins, 2020). Studi penelitian ini yaitu literature review, yang mencakup pelayanan ANC pada ibu hamil di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan selama pandemi COVID-19 dan didapatkan 19 artikel/ jurnal yang relavan dengan rentang tahun 2019-2020. Hasil dari literatur review ini diketahuinya pelayanan ANC yang sesuai prosedur dan mengetahui alasan ibu hamil tidak melakukan ANC selama masa pandemi COVID-19. Masih banyak ibu hamil yang tidak menginginkan untuk berkonsultasi melalui video virtual/ telepon. Diharapkan pada kunjungan ANC diberitahukan manfaat serta tutorial cara penggunaan aplikasi video virtual untuk meminimalisir adanya paparan COVID-19.

Abstract

Education of deep breath relaxation techniques is a form of nursing intervention during the preparation stage of surgery This study aims to know the knowledge and attitude of nurses in providing education of deep breath relaxation techniques in pre-surgical patients. The method used in this study is quantitative method with cross sectional design. A sample of 59 nurses working in the adult surgical medical treatment room of RS X. Analysis using univariate, Kendall's tau b test. Results showed 40 (85.1%) nurses have good knowledge to educate deep breath relaxation techniques in pre-surgical patients, while those with knowledge are quite mostly not educating deep breath relaxation techniques in pre-surgical patients as many as 9 nurses (75%). Nurses who were positive to educate deep breath relaxation techniques in pre-surgical patients 32 nurses (84.2%), and negative attitudes of nurses who did not educate deep breath relaxation techniques in pre-surgical patients there were 11 (52.4%) nurse. The results of further analysis showed there is a relationship between the nurse's knowledge about deep breath relaxation techniques and the implementation of deep breath relaxation techniques education in pre-surgical patients P-value = 0.001 and there is a relationship of nurse attitude in providing deep breath relaxation techniques with the implementation of education of deep breath relaxation techniques in pre-surgical patients P-value = 0.012. Nurses as educators are advised to further improve the quality of health services in providing health education to preoperative patients on how to reduce pain intensity by using a non-pharmacological approach.

Abstract

Violence is not only physical, but also psychic, socioeconomic and sexual violence that often goes unnoticed. In 2000, cases of violence in the world reached 1.6 people with the death toll reaching 28.8% per 100,000 people. 49.1% were caused by suicide and 31.3% as a result of homicide. Deaths from violence occur in developing countries at twice as many as developed countries. This research aims to know the characteristics in victims of violence in Puskesmas Kasihan I Bantul Yogyakarta. This type of research is quantitative with observational descriptive research design, retrospective approach. Sample technique is a total sampling of 32 respondents of victims of violence at Puskesmas Kasihan I Bantul Yogyakarta. Data collection using secondary data. Data analysis technique using univariate with frequency distribution. This study showed gender characteristics in victims of violence in Puskesmas Kasihan I Bantul Yogyakarta Year 2020, showing that Women were the most victims of violence as many as 21 people (65.6%). The age characteristics of the most victims of violence in the 30-39 year old category were 12 people (37.5%). The most educational characteristics of victims of violence in the category of High School Education were 11 people (34.4%). The job characteristics of the victims of violence were 8 people or 25% students and Housewives and other services as many as 7 people or 21.9% each. The characteristics of the marital status of the victims of violence are the most married or married, as many as 17 people (53.1%). For Puskesmas Kasihan I Bantul Yogyakarta is expected to continue to improve efforts to deal with and mentor victims of violence in the local area.

Abstract

Period of toddler or early childhood (1-3 years) was the golden period for children development, especially fine motor. Lack of appropriate stimulation at this stage of age can lead to delayed development. Formed of stimulation for toddler was with playing, example playing kinetic sand. It consists various colors, so that will cause interest toddler and they will use their finger skills to shape it. The purpose this study to analyzed effect of playing kinetic sand to the fine motor development of toddler. The design used pre-experiment (one group pre-post test design). The sampling technique was purposive sampling. The location of study was in the Day Care RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. The period of study started from December 2016 to January 2017. Total population was 60 childrens with a sample size was 21 toddlers. The instrument of study used Activity Program Unit and Denver II. Data analysis used Mc Nemar test. The dependent variable was the fine motor development of toddler and independent variables was playing kinetic sand. The results showed that intervention succeed to improved fine motor development of toddler from 80% (before intervention) to 100% (after intervention). Stimulation of playing kinetic sand was a method to improved the fine motor development of toddlers, so the nurse could socialize it to Day Care and toddler’s parent to used it.

Abstract

Kayuhan Wetan Village Triwidadi Pajangan Bantul which in 2019 was designated as one of the 10 special locations of Stunting Village in Bantul. Partner problems based on stunting data in Puskesmas Pajangan Bantul in 2019 obtained data: 1) Malnutrition as many as 78 children (12.7%), Malnutrition 6 children (0.98%), Number of short toddlers 82 children (13.5%), very short 25 children (4.1%).  2) The level of parental knowledge (Parenting) and parenting practices regarding the nutrition of toddlers in Kayuhan Wetan Hamlet are still lacking. Stunting is caused by multidimensional factors so the handler needs to be done by a multisector. Method mentoring activities to Parenting for The Fulfillment of Child Nutrition BADUTA by providing theoretical and practical training online and offline, as well as conducting assistance in Infant and Child Feeding (PMBA) and Monitoring of child growth. There is an increase in the ability of parenting knowledge in recognizing symptoms and signs of stunting through monitoring the growth and development of children, the most improvement in the component of MP-ASI Knowledge by 4.86 2) There is an increase in parenting skills in the recommended breastfeeding practices in clown children, 3) There is an improvement in parenting skills in Infant and Child Feeding (PMBA) in accordance with the age level (age 6-9 months , 9-12 months and 12-24 months) is appropriate to prevent stunting. Parenting Assistance in Child Nutrition Fulfillment BADUTA is very useful to increase the role of parents (parenting) in order to handle and prevent stunting.
