<![CDATA[To see and test whether the effect of profitability, financial performance, company size and solvency on profit growth (empirical study of the trade, service and investment sector) listed on the IDX for the period 2017-2019 is the purpose of this study. The data analysis method used is statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive approach. This research is an explanation level research. A total of 177 companies are the total population obtained from companies listed on the IDX from 2017-2019. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique. This technique is often used by other researchers because the samples obtained are early for the purpose of the study. Samples can be obtained from 14 companies. Data analysis used several analyzes, namely classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. This study shows that partially the profitability variable that has an effect on profit growth, while the financial performance, company size, and solvency variables do not have a significant effect on service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Simultaneously profitability, financial performance, company size and solvency also have no effect on profit growth in trade, services and investment sector service companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.]]>

<![CDATA[Until the fifth legislative election (2019) in the Reformation Era, money politics was still a disease in the democratic process in Indonesia. Instead of decreasing, the practice of money politics in the last election has become even more massive, vulgar, and brutal. Meanwhile, the prospect of Indonesian democracy, which was considered optimistic, so that it is considered a new democracy has recently tended to decline. This study tries to see the link between money politics and the prospect of consolidating Indonesia's democracy by utilizing secondary data through a qualitative descriptive study. The results of the study show that the quality of Indonesian democracy has decreased in recent years, partly due to the proliferation of political corruption practices, including money politics. Indonesia's prospects for a developed and stable democracy still require a long struggle, especially regarding serious eradication of political corruption, including corruption related to elections such as money politics.]]>

<![CDATA[The West Sumatra Liaison Agency is one of the government organizations of West Sumatra Province. This organization is located outside West Sumatra, especially in Jakarta. The West Sumatra Liaison Agency functions to facilitate the West Sumatra Provincial Government and the Central Government. This study aims to explore the experience of the Liaison Agency personnel in the perspective of symbolic interaction theory. Research with qualitative methods using a phenomenological approach is more focused on exploring the stages of interpersonal communication in communicating with migrants from West Sumatra from the perspective of symbolic interaction theory. The informants of this study consisted of 6 people, of which three people served in the West Sumatra Liaison Agency and three people who were staff. The research informants were selected by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that personnel who are organizational officials have different concepts of thought, self-concept, and interaction / community concepts from personnel who are staff at the West Sumatra Liaison Agency.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze law enforcement against narcotics abuse in Indonesia and and inhibiting and supporting factors as well as efforts to overcome barriers to law enforcement in law enforcement against narcotics crime in Indonesia. The pre-emptive done as early as possible in form of informal seminar and local counseling to the society about the dangerous effect of illegal drug use. The preventive effort was implementing through series of Routine Police Operation and Special Police Operation. While the repressive efforts were law enforcement action through criminal investigation and indictment which rooted within legality aspect. Each effort still encounters several problems, such as lack of personnel, insufficient equipment, breach of information and lack of operational funds. The type of research used is qualitative research, with the type of research being descriptive. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, and study of documents.]]>

Because, currently there is a crisis in the character of students in the State of Indonesia. With the change in globalization in the millennial era, it is necessary to question the character of the students in Indonesia. This article is written to describe the role of citizenship education for students in Indonesia in realizing good and smart citizens to live a better life. This shows that with Citizenship Education, there is a great opportunity for this nation to have students with character. The method used in this article is the method of collecting data by means of literature study. This literature study was carried out by collecting data related to problems related to the role of civic education in the millennial era by building the character of students in the State of Indonesia. <![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menjelaskan, menganalisis, dan menguraikan mengenai fenomena hijrah pada perempuan muslim kelas menengah di Kota Semarang dan keterkaitannya dengan pilihan politik mereka pada pilpres tahun 2019. metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang berlandaskan filsafat postpositivisme. Data diperoleh melalui pelibatan beragam sumber informasi, yakni wawancara, pengamatan, bahan audiovisual, dokumen dan berbagai laporan yang terkait dengan fenomena hijrah dan politik di kalangan perempuan muslim kelas menegah Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menunjukan, dalam Pilpres tahun 2019 mayoritas kelompok hijrah perempuan di Kota Semarang memberikan suaranya kepada pasangan calon Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno. Dalam momentum Itjima Ulama yang digelar dua kali, para ulama merekomendasikan pasangan ini secara resmi melalui pakta integritas. Selain itu, pasangan ini dianggap merepresentasikan umat karena partai pengusung keduanya yang memiliki kedekatan dan keberpihakan pada kaum ulama. Pada akhirnya, fenomena trend hijrah menunjukan dua hal. Pertama, pengaruh tokoh publik dan gencarnya gerakan hijrah semakin memperkuat identitas mereka sebagai sebuah kelompok. Kedua, secara lebih lanjut kelompok ini memberikan bukti bahwa hijrah tidak hanya perubahan dalam kehidupan beragama dan bersosial tetapi juga memberi sebuah aksi nyata dalam kontestasi politik skala nasional.Kata Kunci: Hijrah, Kelompok hijrah, Perempuan, dan Pilihan Politik]]>

<![CDATA[One of the efforts to reduce poverty is through community asset-based empowerment, as has been done by the people of Pentingsari Village, Yogyakarta. Through the Pentingsari Tourism Village program, people who initially relied on income only from agriculture can now be more prosperous through village nature-based tourism management and the social life of village communities. Various development obstacles can be overcome by carrying out development stages. Therefore, the focus of this study is to determine the stages of asset-based empowerment carried out by the people of Pentingsari Village in 2008 - 2018. This study uses a literature study approach. Empowerment in Pentingsari Village shows a relevance to Christopher Dureau's asset-based empowerment theory. In this study, the findings of community asset-based development in Pentingsari Village from 2008-2018 include the six stages of empowerment. The implementation of these six stages has always involved the local community and has brought positive changes to the community. The implementation of the stage of studying and arranging scenarios (define), the stage of uncovering the past (discovery), and the stage of dreaming of the future are carried out continuously, with the role of the pioneer character being more dominant. After that, the asset mapping stage was carried out in a sustainable and sustainable manner, with the asset mobilization stage and the monitoring stage through routine forums attended by community members and village officials.]]>

Based on the research results obtained from respondents the self-concept is classified as very good, the respondent's self-confidence is good and then the respondent's interpersonal communication skills are classified as good. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the implementation of character education on learning behavior and tolerance attitudes of students in elementary schools in the Aek Natas district. This type of research is a quantitative study using a survey method by distributing questionnaires. Primary data sources are obtained from direct respondents' answers in answering questionnaires. So the samples in this study were 81 teachers and 91 students who would be divided as many as 27 schools. Implementation of Character Education on Learning Behavior and Tolerance Attitudes of Elementary School Students in Aek Natas District shows a very strong relationship between variable X (Implementation of Character Education) of 1.00, a strong correlation to Variable Y1 (Learning Behavior) of 0, 688 and a strong correlation. while the variable Y2 (Student Tolerance Attitude) is 0.580. For the Y1 variable (Student Learning Behavior) with a constant value on the coefficient of 6,757 with a standard error of 1,906, the t value of 3,545 states that the implementation of character education on student learning behavior is significant at the 0.01 level. for the Y2 variable (Student Tolerance Attitudes) With a constant value on the coefficient of 201,531 with a standard error of 4.076, the t value of 669 states that the implementation of character education on students' tolerance attitudes is significant at the 0.066 level.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to analyze law enforcement efforts, obstacles and prevention of criminal acts of theft by POLRI against perpetrators of the crime of motorcycle theft with weights in the jurisdiction of Medan Police. This type of research is directed to normative juridical law research. The nature of the research is descriptive analysis of the law enforcement by the Indonesian National Police against the perpetrators of the crime of theft. The results showed that law enforcement efforts were carried out, after the personnel received a complaint report from the victim regarding the occurrence of theft with weighting proceed to the stage of investigation and investigation, against the perpetrators of theft with the weight of a motorcycle subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 9 years imprisonment depending on the the method used by the perpetrator to commit theft by weight. Barrier factors include the identity of the perpetrator is not clear, the perpetrator does not have an ID card, the perpetrator does not admit his actions, there are no witnesses at the crime scene. The perpetrator lost evidence, the victim did not want to report it to the police, there were no supporting witnesses. Countermeasures include carrying out preventive measures by carrying out patrols in suspected places, conducting socialization and community approaches in order to create synergistic coordination and cooperation in creating security. Repressive efforts by increasing efforts to take action against perpetrators of theft by weighting motorbikes by providing strict sanctions and having a deterrent effect on perpetrators and providing guidance to the community to comply with the law.]]>
