Abstract

This study aimed to analyze changes in the use of color gray hair with coconut oil and papaya seeds are assessed in terms of hair color. The study consisted of three different treatment control group, the experimental group the first and the second experimental group. The study was quasi-experimental study with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design and Engineering voluntary sampling was purposive sampling. Samples were five mothers who have never had hair coloring and have 25% gray hair. Data analysis is a variant analysis and Duncan test. The results showed that the change in hair color in the control group showed no change for the better in the indicator. In contrast, the experimental group the first and the second experimental group showed significant results in each indicator. As a result, the utilization of papaya seeds against gray hair color changes significantly with frequency eskperimen second best in the group that was mixed with coconut oil. Abstract

This research start from the fact at school that it has 55 % the result of the study of the students in class x on Jasa Boga Competition in Subject Prosessing Continental Food are down of the KKM (7,5).This process make the hypothesis because of the proseces of the study still focus to the teacher and the studying process in teaching, the teacher also teacher also explain the material with conventional method. The purpose of this research to know the effect using demonstration method of Professsional Competition  students in their subject the proses of continental food in class x Jasa Boga department at SMK N 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang in academic year 2012 / 2013. The kind of this research is quasi experiment research by using factorial planning one direction with all the population are students in class x Jasa Boga SMK N Sintuk Toboh Gadang. The sample is taken by using Total Sampling technique. The instrument is used test to estimate professional competition students are value form practice of questions test that given in the last research. The data analysis technique get thitung > ttabel =  (4,8 > 1,67) in clusion, using demonstration method give positive effect it’s means that in significant level 0,05 of professional competition students on subject how do the process continental food in class x at SMK N 1 Sintuk Toboh Gadang in academic year 2012 / 2013.   Kata kunci: Metode Demonstrasi, Kompetensi Profesional.

Abstract

The arm of this research is to reveal 1) the lack of Djati Pratiwi basic pattern system for the lady with ideal body; 2) The way to fix the lack of Djati Pratiwi basic pattern system for lady with iseal body; 3) the suitability of Djati Pratiwi basic pattern system for the lady with ideal body. The kind of this research is applied research. The object of this research is Djati Pratiwi basic pattern that have 4 times fitting on the lady with ideal body, with 5 panelists which  are the expert lecturers that expert in making pattern. Data collection of this research by giving the questionnaire using Likert scale and analyzed by using modus, used to determine the most tendency in suitability appraisal of Djati Pratiwi basic pattern among ladies with ideal body. The result shows that there is the lack of Djati Pratiwi basic system on shoulder length, shoulder line on the shoulder tip, chest, side line, armhole is not, arm center line, top arm height and side line of the skirt on the waist and on the pelvis. the discrepancy was fitted so the Djati Pratiwi basic pattern system can be suitable the ideal body.   Kata kunci: Kesesuaian pola dasar sistem Djati Pratiwi, Wanita dewasa bertubuh ideal.

Abstract

The research wasmotivated bythe problemsata beauty salonintownthatstillhas not noticedPayakumbuhaspectsrelated to surveillanceeffortson the healthof other individuals andthe environment. The purposeof this studyistoanalyzethe application ofhygieneandsanitationin thebeauty salon businessassociatethat isclassifiedin thecityPayakumbuh.   Thisresearchmethodisdescriptivequantitative. Thestudypopulationwasallbeauty salonsinas many as21 piecesPayakumbuhsalon. The samples wereclassifiedassociatebeautysalonin the city, amounting to 8 Payakumbuhbeauty salonswithbeauty salonpersonnelnumbered45 people. Instruments used inthis research is aquestionnaire(questionnaire). The results obtained from the data that the individual employee hygiene in the beauty salon business Payakumbuh on maintaining the cleanliness of the body with both categories (82%), while maintaining the cleanliness of clothes with unfavorable category (63%). Sanitation in the beauty salon business Payakumbuh indicator requirements are 2 salons buildings that meet the requirements of building eight. On the cleanliness of the water quality indicators there are 4 salons that meet eight requirements of cleanliness of the water quality. On indicators of waste management, there are 3 salons that meet the four requirements of waste management. Onwastecontrolindicatorthere is not anysalonthat meetseightwastemanagement requirements. Onhygiene indicatorsaretoolsandmaterialsthat meeteight2salonhygienerequirements oftools and materials.   Kata Kunci : Hygiene, Sanitasi, Usaha salon kecantikan.

Abstract

This study begins with a problem lack of student interest in participating subject clothes purpose decorate fashion. This study to describe the class XI student interest in the subject of decorating fashion in SMK N 3 sungai penuh, seen from the factor attention, desires, and feelings. This researsh is a descriptive study in this research quantitative. Population class XI student of the school year 2012 / 2013 amounthing to 37 people, where the entire population of the research sample (sampling Saturated). Techniques of data collection using a likert scale questionnaire from which has been validity and reliable, data analysis was done by using SPSS (Statistic Product Solution Service) version 12. The result showed that the score of student attention enough that category 54,1%  while the desire of student including high category that 61,5% and feelings of student including high category that 63,7%. Of the three indicators that obtained of description of the class XI student interest  in the subject of decorating fashion is quite that 59,2%. Keywords: Interest study Students, Decorate Fashion

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the career information Jasa Boga students SMKN Padang 9, (2) describe the Jasa Boga students interest in entrepreneurshipt SMKN Padang 9 and (3) reveal the contribution of career information to Jasa Boga students' interest in entrepreneurship in SMKN 9 Padang. This study is a descriptive correlational study. The study populationwas Jasa Boga student’sof class XIISMK 9Padangin the academic year2012/2013as many as102students. Samples were obtained from 50% of a population of 51 students. Collecting data using a structured questionnaire with Likert scale.Questionnaire used had been tested for validity and reliability. The descriptive analysis of the results showed that the students' career information categorized quite good (37%) and interest in entrepreneurship categorized quite good (45%). Correlation coefficient between the variables of career information with interest in entrepreneurship (r2) = 0.096 means career information contributed 9.6% to as much interest in entrepreneurship. While the rest (90.4%) affected other variables. The results showed that the students' career information obtained is still less than the maximum. Therefore need to be increased efforts to provide information about career. Therefore need to be increased efforts to provide information about careers. Abstract

Problem in this research is a traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu with indicator (1) describe the original form of fashion traditional wedding dress (2) meaning of philosophical  traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu. (3) shape modification of the traditional wedding dress in Alam Surambi Sungai Pagu.   The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Abstract

The purpose of research is to analyze the relationship between interest in going to college with the achievement of students in the department of Home Economic Faculty of Engineering State University of Padang. This study is a descriptive correlational study. The population numbered 844 people (S1 and D3) Food and Fashion, D4 Beauty, D4 Hospitality. Informant selection techniques in the study using purposive random sampling technique for 211 people. Data collection techniques with a structured questionnaire based on Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Based on the survey results revealed the percentage of incoming college student Interests overall categorized as low (29%), achievement of students in subjects categorized department of Home Economic overall quite satisfactory (52.1%). The results showed that there is a Positive and significant relationship between interest in going to college with the achievement of students in the department of Home Economic Faculty of Engineering State University of Padang. It means that the higher the interest the achievement of students is also good.   Keywords: Interest and Achievement.

Abstract

This research to describe study activity students of X degree of fashion to regard women fashion subject such as: visual activity, oral activity, listening activity, and metric activity. The kind of this research is quantitative descriptive. The population is all students of X degree of fashion SMK N 6 Padang which are 26 students. All population is the sample. Data analysis did by determining presentation, chategorize and respondents total achievement. The result shows that: (1) visual activity show that high category (78,6%). (2) Oral activity show that high category (77,87%). (3) Listening activity show that high category (70%). (4) Metric activity show that high category (77,69%). Abstract

Operationally, the aim of this research is to reveal the description of entrepreneurship desire among D3 fashion department students FT UNP Padang, from 3 indicators which are (1) internal support (2) social motive, (3) emotional factor. This research is quantitative descriptive that show and describe the subject that researched. The population of this research is all D3 fashion department students who has been registered on January – June 2013. And the sample is all population using total sampling. The data consist of primary and secondary data that get by using questionnaire. The data processed by using percentage method. The result shows that 75.35% respondents have middle internal support. 87.16% respondents have high social motive. 88.18% respondents have high emotional factors. Generally, 82.20% respondents have high factors that affect entrepreneur desire.   Kata kunci: Minat, Berwirausaha, Mahasiswa Tata Busana
