Abstract

This research aims to determine the development strategy of public facilities that have internal indicators are strengths and weaknesses, and than external indicators are opportunities and threats. This research was descriptive research with qualitative data. Technique of data collected by using interviews, observation and documentation. Determination of informants using Purposive Sampling technique, and Snow-Ball Sampling. Strategy for the development of public facilities Tourism Market are strategic location and the availability of land can be utilized to build unavailable facilities such as waiting areas and children's playgrounds, improving parking systems such as building special parking spaces for the two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, As well as making programs such as "Parking Discount Cards" so that visitors prioritize using parking services at the Tourism Market location compared to using other parking services, maintaining clean water quality and cleanliness of public toilet with routine daily check and repair facilities completeness in public toilet such as lighting conditions, scoop conditions and the availability of garbage bins in the toilet, forming a member of the merchant board of Mosque and make mutual assistance program on a regular basis while for the relevant office can do the renovation and supervision of the use of Mosque, disseminates the promotional benefits of the Market Service to the merchant so that the available stall / store can be utilized by the shopkeeper to do the promotion through the installation of the store's signboard by creating a personal brand, in addition to making shopping programs such as discount programs, Sales, and other programs that can attract visitors, the majority of visitors who come from many families can use as a target market by building a child-friendly facilities such as waiting areas and small playgrounds such as small slides and swings so it does not require land Wide and no land constriction.Keywords: strategy, development, public facilities, tourism market

Abstract

This research early from perception of researcher about habit of elementary school student eat something of the home which fond of to consume food of jajanan in school. Habit of this eat something of the home often exploited by seller to draw attention children by selling is assorted food of jajanan nd also immeasurable processing technique. This research purpose is inventaritation food of jajanan pursuant to technique processing of food. 1) Moist Heat Cooking Technique 2) Dry Heat Cooking Techique.This research type is qualitative research, research location at elementary school exist in district of Nanggalo Padang. Data the use is obtained data direct the than the source of perceived. Object of this research that is foof of jajanan found on 25 elementary school in district of Nanggalo Padang. Abstract

Kain Pelangi (Jumputan) is heritage of the ancestor that need to be kept, so the people in Palembang don’t loose their culture. The proplem is, Kain Pelangi in Palembang has no developments. The aim of this research is to describe Kain Pelangi that consist od tools, material that use in the production, motive, motive binding technic and colouring in Kain Pelangi Salsabillah Collection Industri Palembang.The method is decriptive method with qualitative approach. Data collection did by interview, observation and documentation. Then the data studied and analyzed by: data reduction, data presentation, resume taken. The validation did by renew participation, survey determination, triangulation and auditing. The result shows that : 1) the material are cotton, silk, and ATBM silk, Naphtol pigment, Direk, Erionil and pigmen pigment. The tools that is mal, plastic rope, scissors, bailer, flower spray, gloves, plastic glasses and cloth clamp, stove, pot, and mixer spoon, plywoods, and thumbtack. The brush is used to “colet” the pigment. 2) The motive o such as flower motive, geometric motive, diamond and little dot, seven dot, mushrooms, five dot, nine dot, cucung or sumping. 3) motive binding was done and the specification is binding and basting according to the motive pattern. 4) colouring of Kain Pelangi, which are dyeing technic and spraying technic and the last stage using “pencoletan” for colouring little motive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between care with hair health of female colleger who wear veil in Family Welfare Department the Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. This study consists of two indicators such as hair care and hair health. This research is descriptive research that is correlational. Sampling technique in this study was done by using proportional random sampling as many as 66 person with female colleger as research subject who wear the veil in the Family Welfare Department, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. Techniques of data collection was a questionnaire with Likert Scale and the Guttman Scale which tested for validity and reliability. Analysis using the percentage formula. The results showed that female colleger who wear the veil, hair care are generally classified as being performed by 73% while the percentage of hair health as very low with a percentage of 45%, no significant relationship exists but has a positive relationship between care with hair health.Keywords: Hair care, Hair Health, Female colleger, Veil

Abstract

The research was distributed by the utilization of the Brown seaweed in food processing have not been there. This research aims to analyze the influence of Brown seaweed extract substitutions as much as 5 ml, 15 ml 10ml, and to the quality of the chicken Meatball afkir in terms of shape, colour, aroma, texture and taste. This type of research is purely experiment (true experimental) using random cluster design method. The type of the data being used is the primary data sourced from 30 panelists by filling the organoleptic format towards the sample. The data already acquired and then tabulated in the form of tables and done the analysis Variant (ANAVA). If different real continued with further test Duncan. Results of the study showed there was significant influence between the 5 ml, 15 ml 10ml, and substitution of Brown seaweed extract against chicken meatballs afkir namely quality on the quality of color and texture. Quality round shape with a diameter of 2 cm, the shape of a uniform, distinctive scent of chicken meatballs, fibrous texture is smooth and savory flavor has no effect on the quality of the chicken Meatball afkir. Abstract

This research aims to get an overview of personal hygiene  at Pastry  courses.  This type of research is a research survey, the population is  students  who follow the Pastry  courses  listed on the semester January-June 2015 that took the Pastry Courses  and sample  taken  through the total sampling.  Research instrument using the format of research using using two alternative  answers. Data analysis techniques by means of determining frequency distribution  data and determine the level of attainment of respondents.  Personal hygiene  in  workshops the Home Economic is good.  Personal  hygiene with sub indicators of fingers and hands well.Indicators of the head and the hair well. Indicators of clothing work clothes very well. Indicators  shoes stated very good .   Keywords: Personal Hygiene, Pastry Courses, Workshops

Abstract

This research is based on the problems shows that the low employee performance in fulfilling the customer satisfaction, it is seen from the lack of knowledge and ability of employees to perform in doing his job. This research is aims to show the given influence by the beauty salon employee performance on customer satisfaction in the District of East Padang. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this research was the customers beauty salon visited in the beauty salon in the District of East Padang. The technique of sampling in research is accidental sampling and the sample was obtained as many as 57 people. The collection of data from respondents was conducted through a questionnaire. Before being used of data collection first tested the validity and reliability test items to determine the feasibility of the items that will be proposed in the research. Then the collected data testing requirements analysis using analysis of normality and linearity test, simple linear regression test, and test the coefficient of determination to calculate the influence of employee performance variables (X) on a beauty salon customer satisfaction variable (Y). Based on the analysis of data obtained the result that the employee's performance of the level of achievement acquired beauty salon respondents of total 82.72% with a good category and for the satisfaction of customers acquired of total 72.36% with a normal category. From the results of analysis of the simple linear regression test both significant influential variable with the correlation of 0.637. Ha hypothesis explains that the influence a positive between beauty salon employee performance on customer satisfaction is received with trust level of total 95%. Then seen from the results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination can be known the magnitude of the contribution of employee performance on beauty salon customer satisfaction of total 40.58% Keywords: Employee Performance, customer satisfaction, Beauty Salon

Abstract

The purpose of this study is: to reveal the effect of the use of coconut water mordantthe color / hue, bright dark color / value, and the flatness of color produced in cottondyeing using ginger root extract (Curcuma Roxb Xanthorriza). This type of research isexperimental research. Variable X is a root of ginger (Curcuma Roxb Xanthorriza) aredyed with cotton. Variable X1 is mordant dyeing without the use of coconut water, X2is Mordant dyeing using coconut water. As well as the Y variable dye differences inresults include: Y1 different color / hue dye yield, Y2 differences bright dark color /value, and Y3 is the flatness of the color difference. Types of data used are primarydata. Sources of data in this study is 15 respondents. Mechanical analysis of dataprocessed and compiled, then analyzed using a ratio of 2 independent variables (t test).Then processed using SPSS 15. From the analysis of data on the color (hue) colorsobtained without the use of gold for dyeing mordant and mordant yellow for dyeingusing coconut water.Kata kunci: pengaruh mordan air kelapa, pencelupan bahan katun, ekstrak umbi temulawak (Curcuma Xanthorriza Roxb)

Abstract

This study destination to determine the perception Tourist about Sapta Pesona Beach Tiram Padang Pariaman the views of 4 indicators are safe, order, clean and ramahtamah. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The population of this study is that tourists are moderate and frequent visits to Coast Tiram, amounting to 280 people. Selection of the sample using incidental sampling technique (100 people). Collecting data using a questionnaire based on Likert Scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the average formula ideal research (Mi), and standard deviation (Sdi). The results showed that in general the perception of tourists about the Sapta Pesona Beach Padang Pariaman Tiram are categories include good enough with a value score 95.03. Sapta pesona seen from the indicator with the value score 28.98, orderly with a value score 28.34. Clean with a value score 20.84. Ramah tamah with a value score 16.87. Abstract

The background of this study was the uncomfortable feelings un scalp at the time of performing activities. The study used water spinach to treat scalp with dry dandruff and aimed to analyze the effects of water spinach usage on the treatment of scalp with dry dandruff by observing removals of dandruff debris from scalp. The type of this study was quasi experimental with randomized control group pre-test post-test design. Subjects were female students wearing hijab with the same criteria. Samples were chosen using purposive sampling method, performed voluntarily on nine participants. The study consisted of three different groups, those are one control and two experimental groups. Data collected was primary data from samples, collected from prepared study forms. Data was analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova) followed with Duncan multiple comparison procedure. The result of this study showed significant difference among groups in dandruff debris removal from scalp.Keywords: Kangkung (Ipomoea aquatica), scalp dandruff.
