Abstract

As the oldest and biggest operator Telkom can not avoid the crisis especially trust crisis to its products and services. The aims of the research is how the Public Relations of Plasa Telkom Malang make strategy to handle complain and what are the resistance factors. This research used descriptive qualitative research method in collecting data by direct observation, documentation and in depth interview with the field informan. To measure the data validity used triangulation technique and data analysis used Miles and Huberman. The research result showed that the strategy used by Public Relations of Plasa Telkom in handling customers complaints are: 1) Quick in response the customers complains, which means not wasting time, 2) Increase the customer service/customer care and security officers services as each functions and responsibilites, 3) Provide Public Relations media such as TV, newspaper, tabloid. The resistance factors of Plasa Telkom Malang Public Relations in handling customer complaints are: 1) The less preparation of Plasa Telkom Malang Public Relations in communications, 2) The less cooperation and approach from the company to the certain media, 3) There is no complete identity from the customers.

Abstract

This research aims to describe in detail and deeply the communication patterns in detached tribe society which experiencing of modernization as cultural acculturation impact, including: description of life Nuhatan Tribe; the communication pattern of Nuhatan Tribe before and after cultural acculturation, covering interpersonally,in group, organization, and mass communication; and also influence of acculturation to change at Tribe of Nuhatan. The research location is in Nuhatan Tribe, Sepa Village, Amahai District, Central Of Maluku Regency. This study is categorized into fundamental research type with qualitative descriptive method. The data was explored using in-depth interview, participatory observation and documentation. The writer gets the impression that (1) Life of Tribe of Nuhatan have experiencing of many change which because of existence of modernization and induce at the happening of cultural acculturation. But it is of course not all change affect positive at growth of society. (2) Before happened cultural acculturation, tribe society of Nuhatan use two communications pattern namely communications of interpersonally and in group communications. Communications pattern of interpersonally more dominant happened because society more is enjoying of communications entangling emotional contiguity. (3) The happening of cultural acculturation very having an effect on to change of Tribe society communications pattern of Nuhatan because the acculturation can influence patterned thinking and laid open behaviour with communications. (4) Cultural acculturation bring change to Tribe society communications pattern of Nuhatan, namely in this time they can use organizational communications pattern and mass, in order to make-up of social status and prosperity of society. But communications pattern which is just the run not yet application can better and give positive effect which significant.

Abstract

he idea of ​​civil society is increasingly a place in Indonesian public discourse, especially in reformation and decentralization era. The active role of civil society is needed as an alternative channel of participation to pressure public interest in area. The active participation of civil society will determine the sustainability of a process (formulation) of policy, especially for APBD. Did the APBD formulation made ​​become product policy dedicated to the society interest or vice versa? The objectives of this study were: 1) to find out the extent of the role and position of NGOs of Malang Corruption Watch (MCW) in APBD formulation; 2) to find out the methods used and described NGOs of MCW as a pressure group in the formulation. It was expected that this research would be useful for people who care about society rights and struggle to comply them, with interference of government absolutely. This study used qualitative method through observation, interview, and documentation. For data analysis the researcher used interactive data analysis, model developed by Miles and Huberman (1992), which includes the process of data reduction, presentation, and conclusions. From the research done, it could be obtained conclusions, they were: 1) MCW had roles in pressuring government in order to take side the society interests; 2) the method used by MCW in carrying out its role covered advocate and public education.

Motivation and work dicipline will created good qualities human resources that organization needed. Location on this research on BPTP Jawa Timur di Karangploso. This research is done by interview and observasi. A point on this research are motivation and work dicipline that aplicated on BPTP Jawa Timur di Karangploso is given direct influence and proofed by same change.

Abstract

Regional income (PAD) and sources that support it has always been a problematic issue not only in the past but also in the present when the demands for regional autonomy is always developed. Tourism plays a very important and strategic for the national economy, it is evident by the increase in national income, regional income and foreign exchange. In addition, tourism is also set as one of the substitute non renewable-commodity, such as oil and mining. In order to optimize the role of tourism office was then considered very necessary and urgent to set up mechanisms in conceptual development of tourism that can be used as guidelines in determining the direction, goals, objectives and policy strategies for tourism development in Indonesia.

Abstract

Usage of technological communications media in life of society person this time, can be seen to the number of used by personal computer ( notebook) in everyday life. Besides easily can be seen by society, specially at urban society using telephone of seluler (hand phone). These days usage of communications media have represented requirement of fundamental to individual, group, and also organization. Positive impact which felt by the following society : ( a) Can create experience learn having a meaning, ( b) Facility interaction of intra personal, ( c) Enrich experience learn social values of culture, ( d) Can alter atmosphere learn social values of culture become actively, ( e) Improve efficiency and productivity, and ( f) Watering down sending and acceptance of information. This article conclude that social Consequence of technological communications media impact can be damage or constructive, negative or positive either through physical nor thingsly having the character of nonphysical. Often we see this time exactly human being of controlled by communications technology, its meaning she or he not yet understood is correct of benefit will from communications technology, up at which that information technology expand, to what end in fact information technology. Though if, understanding of information century will this time possible we can control information technology for the progress of x'self even one who is in around society, or even he/she will create new matter of growth of communications technology and information.
