Abstract

Coal production produced by PT. Prima Dito Nusantara by dumptruck is currently 9.977,48 ton/bulan, looking at the condition of the existing equipment, it is planned to produce daily from the dumptruck to be further improved so that the production that can be achieved by the dumpt truck can reach 15,000 tons / month. Therefore, the problem to be examined is "is the condition of the haul road being used at this time ideal to achieve the coal production target of PT .Prima Dito Nusantara". With the evaluation of haul roads are expected to help the problems that exist in the company so that the productivity of the means of transportation to increase and production to be achieved. The research method conducted in the field is by measuring along the haul road from the mining front to the rom stocpile by calculating the width of the haul road, the distance and the slope and then comparing the actual condition in the field with the result of calculation based on the theory. The results showed that the width of the minimum haul road for straight road conditions must be made that is 11 m and 15 m for the bend.The slope at the bend (superelevation) with the theoretical bend width of 15 m must be made 30 cm so that the transport can pass the bend with maximum speed. Based on the theoretical width of the cross slope to be made is 22 cm to the side of the road so that the road body is not inundated with water, while the slope of the haul road is 15%. Abstract

Physical properties and mechanical properties of rocks will be needed for analyzed RMR-Bieniawski 1989. The data will then be needed for supporting calculations (Biron and Arioglu theory, 1983). Based on the results of soil mechanical laboratory test and rock mechanics obtained values of physical properties for claystone is an average water content value 3.46%, the average spesific grafity 2.42, and average density 1.54 grams/cm3. For sandstone the natural density 2.55 gr/cm3, the dry density 2.53 gr/cm3, the saturated density 2,69 gr/cm3, apperent SG 2,53, true SG 3, natural water content 0.73%, saturated water content 6.15%, degree of saturation of 11.93%, porosity 15.56%, and void ratio 0.18. For marlstone we get the natural density 2,83 gr/cm3, the dry density 2,77 gr/cm3, the saturated density 2,88 gr/cm3, apperent SG 2,77, true SG 3,14, natural water content 1.94%, saturated water content 3,86%, degree of saturation 57,09%, porosity 10,99%, and void ratio 0,13. For mechanical properties such as, compressive strength of claystone 1,25 MPa, sandstone 3,64 MPa, and marlstone 5,48 MPa. From the results of the Bieniawski-1989 RMR analysis, the rocks on the roof and wall tunnel BMK-04 has a value of RMR 56 and include to rock class III. RMR 56 have span value and stand up time 1 week to 5 m span. Based on the analysis using Biron and Arioglu theory in 1983 obtained the value of stress to the cap of 414.01 Kg/cm2, side post 369.91 Kg/cm2, and the distance between wedges of 5,52 cm.Keywords: Ground Support, Geotechnical, Rock characteristhics, Rock Mass properties (RMR-System),  Underground mining.

Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam (Persero), Tbk has produced coal used by various parties, the greater the market demand  for coal use trigger PT. BA to increase target production per year. The target of coal production at Tambang Air Laya Barat in 2017 is 3,500,000 Ton of coal and 20,750,000 BCM overburden. The year 2018 increased to 5,500,000 Ton and 33,000,000 BCM overburden. Based on current conditions the company needs to consider design pit options for the year 2018. Determination target production per month, the number of units that work, as well as the profits to be gained. Result reserve design pit of Tambang Air Laya Barat 2018 obtained 5,639,178 Ton of coal and 32,764,431 BCM overburden with stripping ratio 1:5,81 and recovery 90%. The target production plan is determined based on the capability of the main mining equipment each month. The main fleet allocation for mine for January uses 5 fleets coal and 12 fleets overburden, February 4 fleets coal and 12 fleets overburden, March 4 fleets for coal and 12 fleets for overburden, allocated for April - December equals such as January. Overall cost for coal sales Rp. 7.403.987.221.897,  overburden stripping Rp. 1.285.969.138.002 and  coal  production  Rp. 97.182.467.072, so the profit  to be obtained from mining proceeds for the year 2018  Rp. 6,020,835,616,822, so mining is worth doing feasible. Need to be studied further by considering costs such as coal processing, port transportation, employee salary so that net profit can be obtained.Keywords: Design Pit, Target Production, Overburden, Coal, Profits

Abstract

PT. Bina Bara Sejahtera targets overburden demolition of 175.000 bcm/month, but all that has not been achieved. Efforts to achieve the production target of overburden from the work of mechanical devices is to calculate the actual work efficiency and increase the efficiency of mechanical work. Actual work efficiency Komatsu PC300 Excavators that work on fleet 1 53,91%, fleet 2 52,22%, fleet 3 50,53% and fleet 4 51,47%, Volvo BMA35C ADT on fleet 1 55,15%, fleet 2 50,81%, fleet 3 50,36% and fleet 4 is 52,08%. Work efficiency after increasing efficiency Komatsu PC300 Excavators that work on fleet 1 67,97%, fleet 2 67,22, fleet 3 64,47% and fleet 4 66,47%. Volvo BMA35C ADT on fleet 1 74,91%, fleet 2 67,22%, fleet 3 64,47% and fleet 4 66,47%. Actual production on the dismantling of fleet 1 overburden 28.944.24 bcm/month, fleet 2 28.449.67 bcm/month, fleet 3 22.955.50 bcm/month and fleet 4 36.844.61 bcm/month, after increasing work efficiency dismantling fleet overburden 1 53.402 bcm/month, fleet 2 52.168.92 bcm/month, fleet 3 40.365,49 bcm/month and fleet 4 60.548.61 bcm/month. Operating cost of disassembling operations for Volvo BMA35C Komatsu PC300 and ADT Excavator overburden Rp.2.317.249.728. Operating cost after increasing work efficiency Rp.3.019.797.720. Abstract

Coal is a source of energy used as fuel. PT. Atoz Nusantara Mining is a coal mining company located in Nagari Tambang IV Jurai Pasisr Selatan. Currently coal mining activities are less effective because they are low in caloric value. Low calorie coal is piled up in stockpile and not sold. To be marketed, need to increase the value of calories or processing to be sold and utilized. Sawdust waste creates problems in handling and has not been optimally utilized. The waste is left to rot and be burned by sawmill or wood worker. Research with this method uses sawdust with the aim that low-calorie coal mixed with sawdust can be used. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the mixing of coal with sawdust can increase the calorific value of coal which in the sample 1 calorie coal 2186 cal / gr with a ratio of 25:75 to 3915 cal / gr. In the sample 2 calories of coal 4298 cal / gr with a ratio of 75:25 to 4249 cal / gr. In the sample 3 calories of coal 1757 cal / gr with a ratio of 25:75 to 3700 cal / gr. Other parameters such as water content, ash content, flying substances and sulfur content also changed, in sample 1 moisture in analysis 6.28% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.32%; ash content 54.68% with a ratio of 25:75 to 10.66%; volatile matter 8.50% with a ratio of 75:25 to 29.28%; sulfur 0.55% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.16%. In sample 2 moisture in analysis was 5.80% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.46%; ash content 37.40% with a ratio of 25:75 to 11.33%; volatile matter 6.60% with a ratio of 75:25 to 26.79%; sulfur 1.17% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.29%. In sample 3 moisture in analysis was 6.02% with a ratio of 75:25 to 4.28%; ash content 61.91% with a ratio of 25:75 to 15.65%; volatile matter 6.32% with a ratio of 75:25 to 30.48%; sulfur 1.17% with a ratio of 25:75 to 0.09%. Keywords: coal, low-calorie, sawdust, waste of sawdust, fuel

Abstract

PT Koto Alam Sejahtera is one private company engaged in the mining of andesite stone with open pit mining with quarry method. Located in Jorong Polong Duo Kenagarian Koto Alam District Pangkalan Koto Baru District Lima Puluh City Province West Sumatra. The purpose of this research is to analyze the performance of the crushing plant and other obstacles encountered during production activities. One of the steps to be taken so that the desired target company can be fulfilled is to rearrange the CSS (close side setting) on the cone crusher. To determine the actual capacity cone crusher then done by doing beltcut test beltcut test. Beltcut test is one type of tool capacity testing on belt conveyor, with the aim of knowing the amount (tonnase) and efficiency of the crushing plant. With the results obtained from the beltcut test, it is hoped that it can be used as a basis handliig crushing plant in the future. Currently the total production generated from the crushing result is 111,12 ton / hour or 17.574,20 ton / month, with the CSS size setting on the 45 mm for cone crusher I and 18 mm for cone crusher II. This amount is considered not able to meet the target set by the company that is as much as 23.000 tons / month in February. After the analysis, the total production was 155.98 ton/haur or 24.669,99 ton/mounth with 56 mm size of CSS cone crusher I and 26 mm for cone crusher II.Keywords: quarry method,  crushing plant, close side setting, beltcut test, efficiency

Abstract

Area 242 is a mining location located in the PT. Semen Padang area, in the process of clay mining in area 242 it uses 13 units of transport equipment and 1 piece of loading equipment. The production target for clay stripping / day is not achieved. This is due to lack of good composition of mechanical devices and the amount of waiting time that occurs on the conveyance. The purpose of this study was to calculate the productivity of the tool, calculate the harmony of the device in soil use, get the effort and reduce the queuing time on soil production in the 242 area, and get a match factor equal to 1. In this study combined between theory and field data, so that the approach to problem solving can be obtained. And the results of data processing will be analyzed to produce a recommendation. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded. First, the productivity of Kobelco SK200 on fleet 1 is 1,322.4 tons / day and the productivity of the DT Hino 500 FM260TI is 1,308.5 tons / day. Secondly, after being upgraded by 2 fleet and the addition of 1 unit of Kobelco SK200 type excavator and Kobelco SK200 productivity is 3,037.34 tons / day and DT Hino 500 FM260TI 13 units then the conveyance becomes 3006.38 tons / day. Third, efforts to reduce the queuing time to improve the composition of the tool to MF = 1. Fourth, analysis of MF calculation = 1 on fleet 1 = 13 units of Hino, fleet 2 = 13 units. Keywords: production, match factor, queuing theory, excavator, dumptruck

Abstract

On the research of this planning tool to the needs of gali-fit and transport tool that will be discussed are short-term planning for 5 years to the needs of tool gali-fit by using Volvo EC 210 Excavator, Caterpillar 320 D and transport tools by using Nissan CWB 45. PT. Anugrah Halaban agreed to procure the tools dig-load and transport tools the way procurement is done i.e. buy direct and rent and the two methods used certainly has its disadvantages and advantages of each, for it required analysis the most beneficial way with the company, PT Anugrah Halaban agreed procurement tool gali-fit and transport tools. In this research obtained a quantity the cost of ownership and operating costs are different for each of the unit's heavy equipment and there is also a difference in the cost of ownership and operating costs for the leased instrument with the tools that are purchased directly. Cash Flow is obtained, then analyzed by using the method of Net Present Value (NPV) then it can be known whether the alternatives viable economically. For alternative buy cash from existing cash flow then obtained the value of NPV to buy cash alternative is $22523759.00 so the NPV > 0, then the alternative is declared feasible economically. And for alternative rentals from existing cash flow then obtained the value of NPV to rent alternative $22693782.85 is so NPV > 0, then the alternative is declared feasible economically. From peneitian who have 21 days in daptkan the results of the comparison analysis of NPV and IRR can be expressed that alternative procurement tools are most profitable for the company at this time was a lease because the lease is greater than the NPV NPV buy.Keywords: Investment, NPV, IRR, Trial and Error, Owning Cost, Operation Cost

Abstract

PT. Baturona Adimulya is a coal mining company located in West Supat Village, Babat Supat District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. PT. Baturona Adimulya has a Mining Mine with an area of ± 3,476 ha that has not been functioned. Current land conditions have elevation of 11 meters with slope ± 12% so that on the slope of the land, when the summer causes dust and rainy season cause erosion. The company plans to reclaim the former mine land. However, in the Mining Closure Plan document, it is mentioned that on this land the new planting plan takes into account the planting of pioneer plants (budding plant) ie sengon, while for planting of nucleus reclamation plants has not been determined between oil palm or rubber. Therefore, in the reclamation effort on ex-mining land, it is necessary to make good planning with planting of plants in accordance with the characteristics of the land. The technical planning of reclamation activities starts from knowing the characteristics of the soil, the arrangement of the land by leveling the condition of the embankment, then repairing the slope by making terracing, cover crop covering. Furthermore, the revegetation process starts from pengajiran, excavation planting hole, planting, and maintenance (2 years after the seed planting). Based on the results of laboratory testing, the characteristics of ex-mining land are suitable for planting rubber or oil palm plantations. Based on the calculation in the reclamation planning of ex-mining land by revegetation, the total cost is Rp. 507.372.156.00 for oil palm with sengon laut, and Rp. 505.052.919,00 for rubber with marine sengon.Keywords: ex-Mining Land, Reclamation Plan, Revegetation, Cost, Mining Closer

Abstract

PT.Bakapindo is engaged in dolomite mining. The mining method applied is the Open Pit quarry method. Currently the mining process is carried out by PT. Bakapindo applies the blasting method to release dolomite rock from its parent rock. In determining the right method for dismantling material, it is necessary to study rock capability. In this study, the method applied to determine the suitable excavation method is by Franklin's rock strength index criteria chart. The data used in the study are discontinuity field conditions taken with the scanline system and rock samples used to test rock strength by means of Point Load Index. Total data on discontinuity field conditions measured in rock mass is 201 data. The results of the point load index test obtained the Franklin (Is) average index value of 4.740MPa. Based on the results of the analysis of rock mass conditions at PT. Bakapindo found that rock mass rating (RMR) of 67 was classified as class II (Good rock), the fracture index value was 0.091m. Based on Franklin's rock strength index criteria graph, it can be concluded that suitable excavation methods are carried out at PT.
