Abstract

Abstract. Indarung VI factory began production in April 2017, causing an increase in the need forlimestone, which was sourced from the Existing Area, from 679,140 tons to 826,833 tons. This study aimsto find out whether production equipment in the existing area are able to meet these increased needs, anddetermine the optimization that must be done so that the needs are met. The approach taken is to make asimulation that describes the actual conditions (operating patterns, effective hours, productivity of tools) inthe field, to be compared with the production target. Optimization is done by analyzing the productivity ofproduction equipment and effective hours, compared with their theoretical productivity. After beingsimulated, it is known that the production equipment has an actual production capability of 679,140 tons, with a percentage of the production target of 82%. limestone. This means that production equipment has notmet the production target, so production equipment optimization must be done. Optimization carried out:Improved work efficiency Improved work efficiency from 58.97% to 82.65%, and redesigning matchingfleet. After the optimization above, the existing area production equipment has a total limestone productionof 840,111 tons per month, with a production achievement of 102%.Keywords: Optimization; Simulation; Effective Hours;Productivity;matching fleet

Abstract

Abstract. PT Bukit Asam Tbk, is one of the largest coal mining companies in Indonesia. In distributing coal to consumers, PT Bukit Asam Tbk has supporting facilities namely Tarahan Port in Lampung and Kertapati Pier in Palembang. Coal production is increasing every year and in 2023 PT Bukit Asam Tbk plans 45 million tons of coal shipments to Tarahan Port and will require a large and maximum stockpile of capacity to meet the needs of coal shipping from Tanjung Enim. The actualization of the evaluation of the stockpile 2 capacity was 189,213.84 tons of the planned 250,000 tons of coal capacity. If there is a rain of coal spilling into the open channel (drainage) until it covers around the stockpile 2 which has a length of 625 m. This causes the formation of acid water in the bottom of the stockpile and causes flooding around it. So recommendations were made to minimize the occurrence of landslides and reduce the use of excavators for cleaning drainage. Keywords: Stockpile, Drainage,Capacity, Excavator, Coal

Abstract

Abstract. Excavation of tunnels in underground mines is quite a complex job, because it will give a change in balance from rock conditions that can be failure. This research was conducted to determine rock strength, rock mass class, and open  hole stability based on the potential of wedge debris by estimating the Safety Factor (FS) value of the planned tunnel. Based on the RMR-System method, the value for coal is 49 points, where this rock is included in class III (fair rock) with maximum stand up time is 310 hours  (±13 days) for 3m of span. The results of the RMR ground support recommends using Rock bolt with a diameter of 20 mm, fully grounted length 4 m, and spacing 1.5-2 m. Another alternative is to use a Class V wooden stand. Based on the results, the value of safety factor (FS) on the roof (siltstone) is 1,944, FS on the left wall (Coal) is 1,346, and the right wall (Coal) is 4,067. From the results of rock reinforcement using the RMR-System ground support recommendations, the result is an increase in the Safety Factor (FS) value from the value of 1,346 to 2,377 so that the wedge is more stable. Keywords:  Tunnel, Safety Factor (FS), RMR System , Stand-Up Time, Ground Support.

Abstract

PT. Rajawali Internusa is one of the companies engaged in the mining world as a unit of heavy equipment provider (contractor) from PT Budi Gema Gempita as the owner, located in Lahat, South Sumatra Province. in the mining process the survey method is used to determine the distance nad elevation as well as the height of the excavated area. In determining the volume of overburden stripping, survey activities are carried out and determining the ratio of the means of transportation. Result transportation means ritase in march 58,013 bcm and april 60,080 bcm, and the result measured by the survey in march were 57,105.45 bcm and in april 59,084.985 bcm resulting in losses of Rp. 13,613,250.00 and Rp 14,927,625.00 in march and april. The difference causes the calculation of the annual reserve to be inappropriate at 880,000 bcm. There is a greater difference in ritase volume due to the rolled back material, there are operators who are not performing well and the 12 bcm stipulated by the company has not yet been met

Abstract

On the research of this planning tool to the needs of gali-fit and transport tool that will be discussed are short-term planning for 5 years to the needs of tool gali-fit by using Volvo EC 210 Excavator, Caterpillar 320 D and transport tools by using Nissan CWB 45. PT. Anugrah Halaban agreed to procure the tools dig-load and transport tools the way procurement is done i.e. buy direct and rent and the two methods used certainly has its disadvantages and advantages of each, for it required analysis the most beneficial way with the company, PT Anugrah Halaban agreed procurement tool gali-fit and transport tools. In this research obtained a quantity the cost of ownership and operating costs are different for each of the unit's heavy equipment and there is also a difference in the cost of ownership and operating costs for the leased instrument with the tools that are purchased directly. Cash Flow is obtained, then analyzed by using the method of Net Present Value (NPV) then it can be known whether the alternatives viable economically. For alternative buy cash from existing cash flow then obtained the value of NPV to buy cash alternative is $22523759.00 so the NPV > 0, then the alternative is declared feasible economically. And for alternative rentals from existing cash flow then obtained the value of NPV to rent alternative $22693782.85 is so NPV > 0, then the alternative is declared feasible economically. From peneitian who have 21 days in daptkan the results of the comparison analysis of NPV and IRR can be expressed that alternative procurement tools are most profitable for the company at this time was a lease because the lease is greater than the NPV NPV buy. Keywords: Investment, NPV, IRR, Trial and Error, Owning Cost, Operation Cost

Abstract

Abstract: PT. Semen Padang has just built a new crusher, productivity of 9475 tons / day to meet the production needs of the Indarung VI plant, but in reality the performance of the LSC VI Crusher is not optimal. For this reason, Crusher LSC VI performance evaluation is needed to determine the factors. In mechanical equipment productivity there are many factors that can influence, among others: work efficiency, operator efficiency, availability of equipment, acceleration of equipment, altitude of sea level, material type, road conditions, cycle time, etc. The actual productivity of the Komatsu HD 785-7 transport equipment for feeding material to the Limestone Crusher VI was 170.47 tons / hours but the loading and hauling ratio currently applied has not been able to meet the feed target for the Limestone Crusher of 1500 tons / hour. The actual productivity of Limestone Crusher VI is 1212.09 tons / hour and its effective production is 7655.98 tons / day. Productivity and actual effective production have not been able to meet the productivity target of 1500 tons / hour and an effective production target of 9475 tons / day. The actual tool availability of the Limestone Crusher VI includes mechanical availability of 79.50%, physical availability of 87.22%, use of available of 56.80%, and effective utility of 49.54%.Keyword : Crusher, Optimalitation, Produktifity, Belt Conveyor, Loading Hauling

Abstract

The process of transporting limestone from Pit Limit area (15,15 ha) to the crusher unit LSC VI (Limestone Crusher VI) using a combination of 1 Excavator Hitachi 2500-6 unit with 4 units of Dumptruck Komatsu HD 785-7. The production target of limestone is 22.000 tons/day or 550.000 tons/month at Pit Limit area (15,15 Ha). Meanwhile, actual productivity of mechanical equipment is only 1.207,5 tons/hour or 18,112.5 tons/day. To realize the planned productivity improvement must be supported by the availability of sufficient mechanical tools to produce raw materials as desired. The efforts made are improve blast fragmentation to simplify the digging process of loading equipment, create a wider loading point, create a flatter haul road and less dusty, improve work efficiency and Effective Utilization (EU), optimize loading time and hauling time, and reduce dumptruck units to 3 units. Then the productivity of mechanical equipment increase to 2.064,83 ton/hour or 30.972,45 ton/day or 774.311,25 ton/month. It means the limestone production target can be achieved at Pit Limit area (15,15 ha). After improvement, the value of Match Factor between 1 unit of excavator and 3 units of dumptruck is MF = 1,1. This combination is more effectively applied than ever before is MF = 0.88.

Abstract

Abstract. PT Semen Padang is a limestone mining company located in Bukit Karang Putih, Padang City, West Sumatra Province, which has a Front IV mining area located in the Indarung VI mining area. In the area there are ex-mining areas (areas A, B and C) covering an area of 3 hectares which have been reclaimed but are not well-organized, located west of Crusher VI. Many relatively steep cliffs, such as in area A with a slope of 42 ° - 61º, area B with a slope of 45° and area C with a slope of 58º. This situation has the potential for landslides and causes danger in the Mobile Crusher VI series. The level geometry in the reclamation area has 5 levels with different lengths, widths, heights and slopes, and has a single slope on the left and right. When it rains the water flow in the field if the Front IV area of 15.15 Ha leads to that area and will disrupt the production activities in Crusher VI and can cause erosion. Therefore, re-reclamation planning and design costs are needed. The reclamation plan starts from the land arrangement that starts from the upper land in the form of dredging, stockpiling and overburden material removal, as well as the formation of 10 terraces on the slope of the reclamation area with a tilted bench terrace at 3%. After that management of top soil and sub soil, planting cover crops, revegetation by planting trembesi trees, maintenance for the first 3 years, and calculating the costs that will be incurred by the company in the reclamation process. Based on calculations in the planning of reclamation of ex-mining land by means of revegetation, the total total cost is obtained at Rp. 2.855.627.367.Keywords:  Front IV, Crusher VI, Reclamation, Revegetation, Cost Design
