Abstract

PT. Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal (PT. BSPC) is a coal mining company located in East Bero Jaya Village, Tungkal Jaya District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, West Sumatra Province. PT. BSPC implements an open pit mining system. The quality of coal in PT. Bhumi Sriwijaya Perdana Coal has a very high total moisture, which contains 45%. With the high total moisture content contained in coal, PT. BSPC innovates by using chemicals containing polymers to maintain total moisture, ash content and calorific value. The research method used is quantitative which refers to experimental research. In the research conducted, there was a change in the value of coal parameters. The tests carried out were 1 ton and 10 tons of coal given 50 liters of water and 1 liter of chemicals by comparing the effectiveness of using Supercoat (P1) and Coalguard (P2). The result obtained was a decrease in the value of TM on coal of 1 ton and 10 tons. In 1 ton of coal, there was a decrease in TM values for P1 and P2 by 0.15% and 0.47%. decrease in Ash values for P1 and P2 by 1.61% and 2.22%. and for caloric values for P1 and P2 there was an increase of 122 kcal/kg and 131 kcal/kg. in 10 tons of coal there was a decrease in the TM value for P1 and P2 by 4.74% and 5.51%. decreased Ash values for P1 and P2 by 2.83% and 3.24% and for caloric values for P1 and P2 there was an increase of 317 kcal/kg and 394 kcal/kg. Based on the results of tests that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the use of a more effective chemical is Coalguard at a 10-ton test.

Abstract

PT. Allied Indo Coal Jaya is one of the companies engaged in Coal mining with an IUP covering an area of 327.40 Ha, in actual mining activities using the Open Pit method with a production target in 2021 of 278,000 MT of Coal , suddenly the company decided to increase the production target in 2022 by 404,000 MT for the Open Pit so that a re-mine planning is needed to support production activities in 2022 and beyond, the mine Design begins by calculating the Volume of Overburden and Coal contained in the mining boundary area so that a Resgraphic is obtained which is useful for Designing Pit Limit., then this Pit Limit is the economic limit of mining, then the annual Sequence Design is carried out according to the company's production target in the next 3 years, making the Sequence using the sequential method, namely to Mining activities are carried out simultaneously in certain areas with different elevations. In Year 1, total OB production was 5,179,135.9 BCM and total Coal production was 251,748 MT with a total effective working hour of 2,520 hours. In Year II mining, the acquisition of OB was 5,116,000 BCM and Coal was 401,000 MT. Likewise with Mining Year III where the acquisition of OB is 5,093.00 and Coal is 401,000,. In the above annual Design, the total Volume of Overburden is 15,371,000 BCM and the amount of Coal is 1,201,000 MT, so that the remaining vs. 3,524,043 BCM for OB and about 219,976.7 MT of Coal .

Abstract

The ventilation system in Hole SD-C2 PT. Nusa Alam Lestari is a forcing system and does not apply an exhaust fan. So that dirty air from the mining front is not immediately transported out, and the clean air that flows from the main blower is mixed with dirty air coming from the mining front. Some leaks are still detected in the ventilation line. Leaks are still detected in the ventilation path at a depth of 2 m, 30 m, 50 m, 60 m, and 70 m from the opening. After taking measurements at several points, the temperature value in the SD-C2 Manual Hole is 27-290C. Conditions that exceed Kepmen 1827 K/30/MEM/2018. The research method used is the Applied Method (Sugiono, 2013:2). The data sources used are primary data and secondary data, with problem-solving using quantitative and qualitative data. Solving the problem by calculating the air requirement for workers, tools, and dilution of methane gas to get the total air requirement. The total amount of air required at the underground mine of PT. Nusa Alam Lestari at the location of the SD-C2 Manual opening for 15 workers (0.45 m 3 /s), the air required in the work front is (6.6248 m 3 /s) and to dilute methane gas (0.099 m 3 /s ) with the overall air quantity (10.411 m 3 /s). Based on the calculation of the required air quantity, the hole requires 4 blowers to meet these needs, and to make the condition of the hole more comfortable, it is necessary to add a suction fan unit to speed up the transportation of polluted air out of the hole. Ventilation system modeling produces a 3D model of the ventilation system before and after the addition of the blower.

Abstract

PT. Jaga Usaha Sandai (PT. JUS) is one of the contracting companies in the field of Bauxite Mining located in Sandai District, Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan Province. Mining process at PT. Jaga Usaha Sandai, one front loading using 1 unit of Excavator to serve 8 units of Dump Truck and 1 washing plant tool to wash bauxite material. PT. Jaga Usaha Sandai has a target of 300,000 MT / month, and for each washing plant as much as 75,000 MT / month. While the realization of production reached in October amounted to 246,554.09 MT, it can be said that it has not achieved the production target. After analysis and repair efforts were obtained production on the digging tool loaded 490.43 Tons / hour, the conveyance became 45.06 Tons / hour and bauxite processing plant to 357.19 Tons / hour.  And the effective working hours of the digging tool loaded by 83%, the conveyance of 84%, and bauxite processing plant to 84%.

Abstract

Abstract. Coal Mining PT. Tambang Raya Usaha Tama (TRUST) with an open-pit mining system. In alternative pit 3 there are 100 cm chunks or boulder with a percentage of +40%. While the target for fragmentation in the company is 20%. So the boulders resulting from the blasting process will disrupt the loading of the overburden. The value of digging time on the Hitachi PC 2500 Excavator that is too long will certainly cause the productivity of the digging tool to be disrupted. The average digging time of the Hitachi PC 2500 Excavator Excavator on the material resulting from blasting from the actual blasting activity is ±15 seconds (CTM). This digging time is still far from the standard digging time set by the company, which is in the range of 10 – 12 seconds. The research method was carried out with a blasting geometry design based on the R L Ash, Konya, and ICI Explosive methods. The results of the analysis of the fragmentation distribution using the R.L.Ash method with a fragmentation distribution of 100 cm in size retained 5% with a powder factor of 0.56 kg/bcm. The C.J Konya method with a fragmentation distribution of 100 cm in size retained 8% with a powder factor of 0.50 kg/bcm. The Ici Explosive method with a fragmentation distribution of 100 cm in size retained 7% with a powder factor of 0.40 kg/bcm. based on the results of consultations with the distribution company, the fragmentation size of 100 cm was retained 19% with a powder factor of 0.28 kg/bcm. Of all these methods, the optimal method for blasting geometry is to obtain a fragmentation distribution that suits the company's needs, namely the blasting geometry based on the results of consultations with the company. This can be seen from the results of the powder factor which is not too large and also the rock fragmentation obtained in accordance with the company's target.

Abstract

PT. Anugrah Halaban Sepakat is a limestone mining company which is located in Laharkumbuh, fifty cities. In itsmining activities, the digging and loading equipment used by PT. Anugrah Halaban agreed is 1 unit of Volvo Pc 200 Excavatorand 2 units of Mitsubishi Colt Diesel 125 Ps Dump Truck. PT. Anugrah Halaban Agreed in area 1a set a limestone productiontarget of 20,000 tons / month, while the realization of limestone production in October was 11,067 tons. From the realizationdata, it can be concluded that limestone production in area 1a in October 2021 did not reach the target set by the company.Inorder for the limestone production target to run optimally, it is necessary to carry out a match factor analysis and furtherproductivity analysis regarding the working hours of the tool, look for causes and actions taken to achieve the target and makeimprovements to optimize the performance of the digging tool. One of the appropriate methods used in overcoming these problemsis the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method which is a production process performance measurement tool that canmeasure various losses that occur and identify potential improvements. achieve production targets. After that, the fishbone methodwas used to find the cause and effect that caused the production to not be achieved, then an effort was made to improve the losstime which caused the reduction in the effective working hours of the digging tool that had been planned by the company with theapplication of the 5W + 1H technique. After analysis and improvement efforts, the match factor value was 1 of 0.41 and the totallimestone production on the Volvo Pc 200 Excavator was 72,982.31 tons and the Mitsubishi Colt Diesel 125 Ps Dump Truck was27,982.31 tons, which means it has reached the target. even exceeding the production target of 20,000 tons and the OEE value ofeach tool obtained by 61%, 27% and 26%. However, the OEE value is still < 85% of the world class standard OEE value, whichis 85% and there is still room for improvement.

Abstract

Based on data on stripping production overburden at the Central pit PT Saptaindra Sejati Jobsite Adaro Mining Operation (ADMO), stripping production overburden did not reach the target. This has an impact on operating costs incurred for stripping each BCM (Bank Cubic Meter) of thelayer overburden. To determine the potential for improvement of a production process and the effectiveness of using an equipment, it is necessary to carry out an analysis using the method Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). OEE is known as a totalprogram application productive maintenance that has the ability to clearly identify the root of the problem and its causative factors so as to make improvement efforts more focused. In the analysis process of the OEE formula, themethod is also used Six Sigma to make improvements to the OEE value. Where, Six Sigma is a method for solving problems and improving the overall process. Furthermore, adiagram is used fishbone to find the root of the problem in more detail and an evaluation is carried out by referring to the method formulation six sigma.After analyzing and improving with these methods, the EX350-0005A Li R9400 production exceeds the planned target. However, the OEE value of each digging tool is still <85%, it has not reached the world class OEE value> 85%, it can be concluded that the condition of the equipment is not good. Abstract

PT Anugrah Halaban Sepakat is one of the companies engaged in the mining sector and has invested in Fifty Cities Regency, West Sumatra Province. PT Anugrah Halaban Sepakat has two pits (pit 1 and pit 2), the slope characteristics of pit 1 are composed of homogeneous clay material which tends to be sticky in wet conditions, hard and cracked in dry conditions, has a geometry of 20 meters high. and a slope of 66°, which was made without taking geotechnical studies into account. Based on this, it is necessary to plan the research slope well so that the soil slope is in a stable condition. From the results of research and analysis carried out, the value of geotechnical parameters after testing the physical and mechanical properties of the slope material is the natural density of 15,77 kN/m3, the dry density of 14,14 kN/m3, and the saturated weight of 19,06 kN/m3. The cohesion value is 39,79 kN/m3, and the internal shear angle is 21,25°. The actual FK value in natural state using Bishop's method is 1,099, in dry state is 1,177 and saturated state is 0,985. Then the actual FK value using the Hoek and Bray method in dry conditions was obtained at 1,051 and in a saturated state of 0,720. The results of the analysis after modifying the single slope geometry from a slope of 66o to 46o, the FK value in the dry state is 1,562 and the saturated state is 1,319 by dismantling the soil as much as 4.262,076 m3. Then the results of the analysis after modifying the geometry of the overall slope made two single slopes each with a height of 7 and 13 meters and a bench width of 10 meters having a slope of 50o, the FK value in a dry state was 1,550 and in a saturated state of 1,315 by dismantling 2.514,35 m3 of soil.

Abstract

PT. Semen padang is a limestone mining company which is materials for cement manufacturing in lubuk kilangan, padang city. Ore is extracted by open pit mining method with a side hill type system, which is an open mining method that is applied to mine rocks located on hillsides or in the form of hills. The plb (point loading barat) area is one of an activity area for the limestone loading process in iup op 206.96 ha. The mining process causes the rock mass become unstable and has the potential for slope failure.The results of the actual slope analysis using method simplified janbu, the value of the safey factor (SF) is 1.05 and the probability of failures (PF) is 14.6%. And the saturated slope has a safey factor (SF) value is 0.8 and the probability of failures (PF) is 100%. Recommendations of slope geometry based on the results of slide 6.0 software analysis obtained a safety factor (fk) is 1.37 and the probability of failure (PF) is 0.00%. While in  saturated condition the result of  safety factor (fk) is 1.36 and probability of failure (PF)  is 0.00% with a slope height of 70.7 m and a slope of 42°. Based on the sensitivity plot graph, the material that affects the slope stability of plb front IV PT. Semen padang is the cohesion input material (c).

Abstract

Abstract. The implementation of an occupational safety and health management system needs to bemandatory for every work implementation in locations that have the potential for work accidents in themining area. One company that owns a mining area is PT. Semen Padang. The purpose of this study is toreveal the forms of work accidents in locations that have the potential to cause work accidents in thelimestone mining area of PT. Semen Padang and revealed JSA from a work accident that occurred in thelimestone mining area of PT. Semen Padang.. The method used is a qualitative method using a risk matrixthat describes the probability value and the consequence value of an event which is expressed in the form ofa low risk to high risk range. It can be concluded that there are 15 forms of work accidents based on thehazard risks that occur from the survey results in the field and the risk level on the 15 hazard riskparameters is at the Low risk level.
