SPEKTRUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar (PLS) memuat artikel-artikel hasil penelitian dan atau kajian analitis-kritis di bidang pendidikan luar sekolah secara khusus pada pembangunan pendidikan orang dewasa, pendidikan masyarakat, pelatihan dan pengembangan sumber manusia, penyuluhan, dan pengembangan masyarakat. Spesifikasi kajian ditujukan untuk pengalaman, pengembangan, dan menjelaskan tentang sejarah, filosofi, prinsip-prinsip, kebijakan, desain, dan teknologi yang digunakan dan dikembangkan dalam layanan pendidikan di luar sistem persekolahan.

<![CDATA[This research is backgrounded by developing process of Teletabis Hill Tourism objects located in Nagari Lubuak Layang, South Rao District, Pasaman Regency. This was allegedly due to community empowerment activities conducted by Pambangun Nagari Youth Community. The aims of the research is describe the community empowering process, strengthening potention, and autonomyc of community in Nagari Lubuak Layang, Pasaman Regency. The quantitative approach and descriptive design was used in this research. The population of this research is 40 people who lived around the tourism village. The sample was obtained using 33 random sampling techniques. The data collection techniques were questionnaires, and data analysis used percentage formula. The results of this research showed that: (1) community empowerment in enabling community activities was conducted very well; (2) community empowerment in strengthening activities was conducted very well; and (3) community empowerment in the autonomyc activities of the community is well done. This research suggest that: (1) the community could maintained and enhanced tourism development activities for giving more effective impact on community empowerment; and (2) the community could conserving the tourism objects for giving good influence on the progress of community.Keywords: Education, Empowerment, Autonomyc, Community]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the success of the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio in carrying out randai activities, this was seen from the structuring of the organization carried out by the management staff in the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio. The purpose of this study is to describe smart organization in terms of determining activities and personnel, delegating authority, and determining tools and infrastructure. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were clever participants at the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio. The sampling technique in this study is stratified random sampling of the entire population. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, while the questionnaire data collection tools. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that: organizing the smart activities in the Sarunai Sangkokalo Art Studio has good personnel determination and activity, as well as delegation of authority and the determination and use of tools and equipment that are good at supporting success.Keywords: Activities and Personnel, Delegates, Randai Organizing]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is based on the lack of students motivation in learning. The lack of student motivation can influenced many factor, one of them is social environment of pesantren. The social environment of pesantren is a real relationship between humans, interaction between learners and educators with other people who are involved in the interaction of education in schools. The social environment can affect students' learning motivation in the pesantren. The aim of this study is to describe the social environment of pesantren, describing the students' learning motivation and the relationship between the social environments to motivate students to learn in pesantren. This research is quantitative correlation type with 28 research subjects students are studying in pesantren Madinatul Ilmi Islamiyah. The results of this study can showing that there is a significant relationship between social environment of pesantren with student’s learning motivation.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is a background by the bad moral of a child in Bungo Pasang Salido village in IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan district. Purpose this research is (1) to describe the interaction intensity of parents with a child, (2) to describe child morally, (3) to look relations between interactions intensity of parent-child with child morals. This research was quantitative correlational. The population in this research amounted to 67 with 34 people as a sample. Techniques of data collection with the questonanaire sheet statement. Data analysis techniques using percentage formulas and product-moment correlation formulas. The result showed (1) interactions intensity of parents with child still low, (2)   child morals in Bungo Pasang Salido village, in IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan district was still bad, (3) there is a very significant correlation between interactions intensity of parent-child with child moral, because analysis value is 0,991 still confirmed with rtable for n=34 is 0,339 for significant level 5% more than for significant level 1% is 0,436.Keywords: Interaction Intensity, Child Moral]]>

<![CDATA[This research was motivated by the high self-confidence of students in the Ar-Royyan Elementary School, especially the first (1) class students who had the courage to appear in front of the class, dare to express their opinions, and dare to write in front of the class during the teaching and learning process. Allegedly the high self-confidence of students because of the implementation of outbound activity programs before the teaching and learning process in school. The purpose of the research is to see an overview of the planning, implementation and evaluation of outbound activities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population of the research was the executive committee of outbound activities at the Ar-Royyan Nature Elementary School (educators and education staff) totaling 50 people. The research sample was taken 50% of the total population of 25 people with simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and questionnaire data collection tools. Data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive technique with percentage calculation. The results of the study found that, (1) planning outbound activities looked very good, (2) the implementation of outbound activities looked very good, and (3) evaluation of the implementation of outbound activities looked very good. Suggestions to the Ar-Royyan Nature Elementary School, (1) in order to maintain the outbound activity program is always carried out at the time of admission of new students, and (2) the implementing committee of outbound activities maintain the quality of the implementation of outbound activities that have been carried out properly.Keywords: Outbound, Confidence]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low education of children in Jorong Labuai Kecamatan Koto Balingka Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, this is thought to be one of the causes due to lack of concern for parents. This research aims to: (1) to describe the concerns of parents to children, (2) to describe the success of children's education, and (3) to see whether there is a relationship between parents' concern with the success of children's education. This research includes correlational quantitative research. The population in the research were children who dropped out of school and children who did not continue their education to the level SLTP, SLTA with the age of 13-18 years with a population of 57 people. Sampling technique stratified random sampling. The number of samples in this study is 30 people. Data collection techniques used questionnaires. Technique of data analysis by using formula of percentage and product moment. From the result of the research, it can be seen that: (1) the concern of the parents to the children low categorize, (2) the success of children's education in low category, and (3) there is a significant correlation between parental concern to the success of children's education in Jorong Labuai Kecamatan Koto Balingka, Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.Keywords: Concerns of Parents, Success of Children's Education]]>

Researchers suspect that the learning motivation of high learning citizens due to the instructor in the learning strategies learning activities. Type of this research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this research is to study language courses which amounted to 110 people. Samples taken many as 28 people. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentages. The research results indicate (1) the determination of the expected changes to the citizens learning instructors are categorized good, (2) the determination of which approach to use the trainer to the citizens learn categorized good, (3) the determination of the methods used instructor to the citizens learn categorized good, and (4) the setting of norms of the success of the instructor to the citizens learn categorized good. <![CDATA[This research is motivated by professional tutors in carrying out their main duties and functions at SPNF, a Learning Center for Padang Panjang City. The purpose of this study is to describe (1) motivation, (2) briefing, and (3) supervision in the framework of management by the SKB Head. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The study population amounted to 12 people who were also respondents to the study. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, with data collection tools using questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the study showed that (1) the direction in improving the professional learning service was categorized quite high, (2) motivating the improvement of professional learning services is categorized as quite high, and (3) supervision in improving professional learning is categorized quite high. <![CDATA[This research is motivated by the high independence of children, it is suspected a relationship with the cultivation of independence given to the child. The purpose of this study illustrates the cultivation of independence in children by parents in the family in Jorong Giri Maju Pasaman Barat Regency, through the cultivation of child self-confidence, planting the child's habituation, and planting communications with children. This research is quantitative descriptive research. Parents of children aged five to six years are the population and sample in this study. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and data collection tool is a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using percentage calculations. The results of the study found that the cultivation of independence through cultivation of self-confidence implemented by parents is categorized well, the cultivation of self-reliance through habituation conducted by parents is categorized very well, and the cultivation of self-reliance through the cultivation of communication with children by parents is categorized very well. These three aspects of research greatly affect the independence of children.]]>
