Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the learning process in institutions that organize courses in the field of computer office applications using a competency-based curriculum. This research was conducted by evaluating 8 institutions of course in Banten region with discrepancy model, that is by looking at the gap that happened in the process of learning conducted in the field. Data collection technique is by using questionnaire. The results of the evaluation show that in the learning process through the competency-based curriculum that includes the preparation of learning tools, the use of learning methods, the use of instructional media, and the implementation of the evaluation of learning, running effectively. While the implementation of internship programs with the business and industry has not run effectively.

Abstract

Role, Education, and Implementatation Islamic law developed along with the development of Islam in various regions, causing Islamic law to have different styles in each region it came. Indonesia is one of these regions. Differences or uniqueness that arise together with the acceptance of Islamic law in Indonesia by experiencing various kinds of changes in accordance with the time, space and place of the law applied. The role of various kingdoms in disseminating Islamic teachings is legitimate evidence, how Islam becomes an integral part of the Indonesian Nation. Changes began to occur when the Dutch colonial government ruled Indonesia. The receptio in complexu theory, and the receptie theory are proof of the attachment of the Dutch legal order in Indonesia which began in the V.OC era. Independence as the starting point of the struggle to reduce the influence of the two theories with efforts to decolonize Islamic law through receptie exit theory. This theory directs that the development of Islamic law in Indonesia is based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution, which is marked by the emergence of KHI as a guideline compiled and formulated to fill a substantial legal vacuum in the courts in the religious court that tried the Islamic civil case in 1991

Abstract

This research aims to study the improvement in mathematical representation ability of the students through the application of Novick learning model. The population of this research is all students of class X in one of private Senior High Schools (SMA) in Bandung, with two classes taken as the sample. The experimental class is taught using Novick learning model while the control class is taught employing a conventional learning model. Sampling is conducted adopting a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis is quantitatively performed by analyzing the pre-test and the average N-gain data between the two sample groups by using Games-Howell test and two-way ANOVA test. The result of the research shows an improvement in the mathematical representation ability of students learning with Novick learning model is better than those learning with a conventional learning model.

Abstract

Managing a team independently or called as a self-managed team and job satisfaction are factorsimportant for an institution to achieve its goal, such as to improve and produce quality human resource performance. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of self-managed team on teacher’s productivity, the effect of job satisfaction on teacher’s productivity and the effect of self-managed team on job satisfaction. The population of this research is Elementary School (SD) teachers at SD Cikedal Banten. The reachable population of this study is the teachers belonging to clusters IV and V. The sample of this study is 96 people taken using a simple random technique. The method used in this research is survey method, in which the data are collectedby distributing questionnaires. The data are then analyzed using path analysis. The result of the research shows that (1) self-managed team has a positive and significant effect on teacher’s productivity, (2) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on teacher’s productivity and (3) self-managed team has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.

Abstract

A working group is likely to have a large influence on strengthening student motivation for entrepreneurship development. In a work group, there must be participants who are dominant or less dominant, where members from one another support and motivate each other for the success of the final results of group work. It is inspiring for researchers to find out whether the effects in working group dominance models can boost their level of motivation in entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze the results of dominance by peer learning on other students in the work group and see the effect of peer learning on entrepreneurial motivation. The research method used was a quantitative method of experimentation with One group pre test ? post test with a sample of 60 students in the 8th semester of the English Language Education program. Based on the research data presented, it can be seen in general that the values of entrepreneurial motivation and in each group tends to increase after peer learning. The average value of the pretest is 67.1 while the posttest value is 77, then after the t test (t-test) is obtained the value of tcount, 6.967> ttable, 2,000, this means that the research hypothesis has the influence of the use of peer learning on accepted student entrepreneurial motivation . The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant effect of peer learning on the motivation of student entrepreneurship with the best increase in motivation is the mixed group

Abstract

Sering dijumpai mahasiswa yang mengambil jurusan Teknik Informatika tidak menduga akan mendapatkan mata kuliah matematika. Mahasiswa menganggap bahwa mengambil program studi Teknik Informatika hanya akan mendapatkan mata kuliah pemrograman saja. Namun pada kenyataannnya, mata kuliah matematika di program studi Teknik Informatika kira-kira sebesar 30%. Banyak mahasiswa yang menganggap remeh mata kuliah matematika dan kurang memahami bahwa belajar matematika sangat penting dalam mempelajari program. Permasalahan yang akan diteliti adalah peran kemampuan awal matematika dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap prestasi belajar statistika. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kemampuan awal matematika dan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap prestasi belajar statistika. Metode penelitian adalah metode survey dengan instrumennya berupa angket. Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi menggunakan software SPSS Statistic 17.0. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat diambil kesimpulan di antaranya: 1) kemampuan awal memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar yang tidak signifikan, 2) persepsi pada mata kuliah statistika memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar yang signifikan, 3) kemampuan awal dan persepsi memberikan pengaruh secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar. Dengan melihat kemampuan awal yang tidak signifikan, dosen diharapkan memberikan motivasi kepada mahasiswa untuk lebih giat belajar latihan soal agar prestasi belajar meningkat. Mahasiswa dengan persepsi tinggi terhadap mata kuliah statistika diharapkan memberikan motivasi kepada mahasiswa lain.

Abstract

The research is aimed at knowing the difficulty with mathematics learning facing by students with special needs in an inclusive school. The research location chosen using a selected sampling technique is SDIT Akhdor Insan Mulia in Depok, West Java. The sample of the research is students with special needs with medium category and low category and students with special needs with slow learner category. The method of the research is an explorative survey with a qualitative approach. From the research result, it can be concluded that mathematics learning process for students with special needs requires a special treatment and a curriculum adjusted to the initial student?s ability so that students with special needs have a different mathematics curriculum than that of regular students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to review the teacher certification program (PPG) policy as an improvement in educational quality or merely a constellation of power. The method used is a descriptive research method with documentary analysis. The PPG program, both pre-service and in-service, contains a constellation of power. It can be seen from some notes. Firstly, there is no follow-up from the PPG program. Secondly, the results of interviews by the researchers reveal that the materials provided in this program are not different from those given at the university. Thirdly, even though PPG pre-service is aimed at improving the quality of prospective teachers based on the indicators specified in the program, why do teacher training and education universities not prepare their students to be quality teachers? if they do not do so, why they do not improve the concepts and learning in lectures at their respective universities instead of adding new programs. Fourthly, there are no similar programs in countries with quality education, such as Finland, South Korea, Japan and so on. Fifthly, the tests in the admission process only administer tests that indirectly measure the cognitive level

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk mendiskusikan kembali asumsi dasar yang selama ini telah terbangun mengenai Wittgenstein II, terutama tentang kehadiran manusia sebagai subjek yang otonom dalam bahasa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis kritis dan metode kepustakaan. Untuk menopang pernyataan tesis, penelitian ini memanfaatkan teori otonomi, konsep objektivasi, dan teori strukturalisme. Hasil penelitian ini ialah Ludwig Wittgenstein telah memperlakukan bahasa dan subjek sebagai entitas yang terpisah, dan sekaligus menempatkan subjek ke dalam posisi yang inferior di hadapan bahasa. Selain itu, Ludwig Wittgenstein secara implisit menolak kehadiran subjek yang otonom di dalam bahasa. Oleh karena itu, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa Ludwig Wittgenstein di dalam Philosophical Investigations menolak kehadiran subjek dalam menentukan makna kata.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to show the effect of the use of elaboration learning model on mathematics learning outcomes. The research uses experiment method, with sample of 30 people taken by employing a simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is a multiple-choice test. The test of comparative hypothesis is conducted using t-test. The result of hypothesis test, namely learning outcomes of students taught using elaboration learning model are higher than those of students not taught using elaboration learning model.
