Abstract

The availability of infrastructure is considered a top priority for the development of coastal areas. Completeness of infrastructure in an area will bring investment from outside into the area. The availability of infrastructure also has a backward relationship that is higher than the relationship in the future which means the availability of infrastructure is more able to encourage the growth of the upstream sector compared to the downstream sector so that infrastructure has an important role in the economic development of coastal areas such as Coastal Selumit Pantai. The method used is a Scalogram Analysis used to see an overview of the level of development of an area administratively using the completeness of facilities and infrastructure (infrastructure) in the region. questionnaire and interview to collect data, with resident respondents in Selumit Pantai village. The results obtained are categories that are included in the hierarchy of the availability of facilities and infrastructure such as There are three hierarchies in Selumit Pantai Village based on a scalogram analysis in which the RT (RT) reviewed is RT 17, 18, 19, 21, and 28 covering the hierarchy 3 with low development area.

Abstract

Every year there is an increase in the number of students at the Universitas Borneo Tarakan, which naturally requires the addition of campus buildings, including the construction of road infrastructure to support the development of the campus area. This study aims to analyze the needs of the thickness of the new flexible road pavement construction in the campus area by using the AASHTO 1993 method. This method requires a Structural Number (SN) value that can be calculated by nomogram method and trial and error method. The results of the nomogram method get the value of SN total = 2.09 inches, SN2 = 1.59 inches, and SN1 = 1.39 inches, and the trial and error method gets the value of SNTotal = 2.05 inches, SN2 = 1.56 inches, and SN1 = 1.36 inches. To avoid the risk factor of estimating the error of repetition of traffic loads during the life of the plan (W 18), in the calculation of the SN value, the trial and error method needs to include the value of FR (reliability factor) in the calculation of w18 , where the value obtained FR = 2.39 and W18 = 0, 11x10 6 ESAL. Analysis of the thickness of the flexible pavement construction layer using SN values calculated by the nomogram and trial and error method, resulting in a 39 cm thick flexible pavement, with a surface course = 9 cm, sub-base course = 15 cm, and a base course = 15 cm.

Abstract

Occupational safety and health are very important instruments in the process of steel construction work, expecially in fabrication. In the construction of oil palm mills with steel construction for fabrication items that are often possibility to work accidents, so there is no need for one work item that can get an exemption, both in the process of cutting, moving, welding, and the packaging process of steel material used. PT Boma Bisma Indra (Persero) in the palm oil mill (CPO) steel construction fabrication project. This research was conducted with a non-probability sampling method and conducted with regression. Based on the results of the study can be known about the influence of Environmental variables, personal protective equipment (PPE) and the experience of workers on work accidents.

Abstract

The existence of government programs and the existence of a government corporation appointed by the government to provide water to the community is still not enough to meet the needs of clean water. Areas that have been served are still experiencing water access problems. Areas that have not adapted to use other sources using groundwater for personal needs or business, however, it cannot be used forever, so someday they have to switch to water sources provided by the government. On the other hand, lower-middle-income communities are vulnerable to access to water, which concentrated in densely populated and coastal areas, which is difficult for the government to provide access to water services. Therefore, this study wants to show access to water services provided by the government and groundwater supply providers, and how access is received by each community group. The location of this study is in Kemijen Village which the majority consists of the customers of water sources provided by the government and Kampung Tambak Lorok which majority consists of customers of groundwater sources. The results show that groundwater providers provide better access, where lower-middle-class people get lower access than upper-middle-class people.

Abstract

Rainfall occurs in Watershed (DAS) has a special relationship. Data distribution from measuring devices at several locations in the watershed is predicted to have patterns and close relationships. To know this we need a model to be able to show a relationship between measured rainfall data. This research, a factor analysis model is performed to calculate how much the relationship between rainfall data in the watershed and to determine the shape of rainfall distribution patterns that occur. Based on the calculation results, it is known that pattern of rainfall data distribution from 6 rain stations in Bengawan Solo watershed, namely doplang, randu, menden, kedung, japah, and sambong in 1998 has the same distribution pattern. However, the amount of rain height is different. In addition, the maximum Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.536 at Menden-Randu station. While the minimum Pearson correlation value for the Menden-Sambong station is 0.012. This difference is influenced by the distance between Menden-Randu and Menden-Sambong stations. Based on calculations on the factor analysis model, there are two factors that affect directly between these stations. Factor 1 has coefficient value 0.5. Based on calculations show that rainfall that occurs in each region does not have a strong relationship between one another, but the occurrence of rain that occurs has the same distribution pattern. From this, it provides information that th e pattern of rainfall distribution each year is the same due to the occurrence of rain following climate patterns in global area coverage.

Abstract

The use of asphalt (Liquid asbuton) as a road pavement material can be an economical and efficient choice for road construction and maintenance because, in addition to being cheaper and having better work abilities compared to other types of buton asphalt, a new step is carried out by using Asbuton liquid in a hot mix. One of the materials used is high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic waste. The ideal plastic prohibition needs to be balanced with waste management and financial incentives to change the habits of consumers and industry players. This research was conducted to determine the effect of using HDPE type plastic as an addition to the Asphalt Layer mixture Concrete (Laston) in terms of Marshall characteristics by using liquid asbuton and the level of plastic addition used was 2%, 4%, and 6% The results achieved were the addition of plastic waste flakes into the asphalt concrete mixture AC-BC can save asphalt 6% to the weight of asphalt The characteristics of the AC-BC mixture can be explained that with the addition of plastic waste flakes, stability will rise, flow decreases, Marshal Quotien (MQ) increases, VIM decreases, VMA decreases, VFB increases with increasing levels of effective asphalt, remaining marshall stability can be reached above 90%, and the cavity in the cam Puran at the refusal density can be achieved in the range greater than 2%.

Abstract

Gadjah Mada Road is one of the main roads in the Jember and is an urban road that has high activity. Therefore, it has a history of traffic accidents. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of accidents at the KFC-Sentot Prawirodirdjo intersection and Sentot Prawirodirdjo-Argopuro intersection, to determine the EAN (Equivalent Accident Number) value, and the accident rate. Accident characteristics were analyzed based on the number of accidents obtained from the Integrated Road Safety Management System (IRSMS) on weekdays and weekends, EAN value was calculated to estimate the accident weight, and accident rate to determine the level of accident vulnerability. From the analysis, the results obtained from 2017-2018 in the KFC-Sentot Prawirodirdjo intersection have 87 accidents and the Sentot Prawirodirdjo-Argopuro intersection in 2014-2018 there were 228 accidents. Most of the accident victims at the KFC-Simpang Sentot Prawirodirdjo intersection were minor injuries and material losses. Vehicles that often involved in accidents were motorcycles. The time of the accident that often occurs was the night (17.01-21.00). The dominant type of accident is a crash when overtaking from the right. Furthermore, for the Sentot Prawirodirdjo-Argopuro intersection, most accident victims were minor injuries and material losses. The vehicle that is often involved is a motorcycle. The time of the most dominant accident is morning (05.01-09.00), and the type of accident that dominates is crash when overtaking from the right.

Abstract

The Embodiment of construction quality can be achieved by implementing quality management, one of the workforce used in implementing quality management is the foreman. A construction company has standards or guidelines for implementing quality management that must be carried out by the foreman. This study will discuss the relationship between the level of the foreman's ability and the influence of the foreman's ability on the application of quality management. Qualitative descriptive method is done by distributing questionnaires followed by validity, reliability, t-test, F-test, and classical assumption test. The results showed a simultaneous test for educational variables, work experience, motivation, and discipline influenced the ability of the foreman in implementing quality management of 2,510. The partial test shows that the work experience variable influences the foreman's ability to implement quality management by 2,178. So that the test results obtained for the regression model that is Y = 36,130 + 1,353X2 + ei, that work experience have a very dominant influence on the ability of the foreman in implementing quality management in Surabaya apartment building construction projects.

Abstract

The growth of minimarkets in Makassar city shows very large numbers. The large growth of outlets is in line with the increase in freight transportation (fleet) that will distribute goods. The storage of minimarkets (Alfamart, Alfamidi, and Indomart) is located in the Makassar Industrial Area (KIMA). This research is descriptive-quantitative. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the transportation of goods for each type of minimarket. The result showed that the departure time for all types of minimarkets was the same between 07.00-18.00 WITA, then the average speed of the fleet range from 35-45 km/hour, and the route is chosen was dominantly toll of the total trips.

Abstract

Along with the increasing density of the city that shifts green space, urban parks ultimately become the only place for urban communities to feel the connection to nature. Therefore, it is important to have a good quality city park. City residents' opinions about the factors that encourage visitors to visit city parks are also important as input and evaluation for city park providers. On the other hand, there is potentially given by city parks other than just as a place for recreation and relaxation. Therefore, this study wants to show how the quality of city parks, the factors which make visitors come to city parks, and what kind of potential can be achieved from city parks. This research was conducted and presented in a descriptive-qualitative form to provide a complete picture of the phenomena that occur in city parks. The results obtained are that TIK has a good quality park, able to attract visitors, and has the potential for creative tourism.
