Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract This article aims to describe the character building through self development activity at SMP N 3 Payakumbuh. The focus of the research was ensamble music activity, by adding character building in it. The research was conducted using qualitative type. The object of this research was the students of SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. The research instrument was the researcher itself and assisted by stationery and photo cameras. The techniques of data collection were observation, documentation and interviews. Then, the technique of data analysis was done by gathering the data, describing the data and conclude the data. The results showed character building were carried out with application of the discipline and responsible values which are addressed to teachers and students who follow the activities of self- development ensamble music. Abstract This article aims to find out and describe the existence of Selawat Dulang in Padang Sibusuk community which includes the use, function, position, meaning and effort to keep the existence of Selawat Dulang in Nagari Padang Sibusuk. This research was descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Instruments in this study were researcher self and assisted with the supporting instruments such as notebooks, stationery, and camera. The technique of data collection was done through literature study, observation and interview. The technique of data analysis was done by observation steps, identifying data, interpreting data, describing data and making discussion. The results show that the Art of Selawat Dulang is still existing and awakened in the mind of Padang Sibusuk people in accordance with the needs of Padang Sibusuk community. This study shows that Selawat Dulang has several functions. They are social function, as entertainment and group existence. The results prove that the position and meaning of Selawat Dulang in the community of Padang Sibusuk strengthening its existence and making Selawat Dulang as a form of cultural preservation. Abstract This article aimed to describe the implementation of singing learning on unisono by using a scientific approach in SMP Negeri 22 Padang. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The objects of this research were the art teacher of culture and students of class VII.2 which amounted to 30 students. Data collection was done by using literature study technique, observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of singing learning on unisono using scientific approach has not been done in accordance with the objective of the 2013 curriculum caused by several things: 1) the unbalanced between the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects of the learning implementation plan designed by the teacher, 2) the implementation of learning not in accordance with the RPP and still the combination of the learning approach with the methods and learning strategies in the curriculum KTSP, 3) learning evaluation had not been seen in the learning process, the evaluation was only taken at the time of exercise or daily tasks, daily test, mid semester, and final examination, so students were less active, creative, and innovative in the learning process. Abstract This study was aimed to describe and analyze meaning of Bucerai Kasih dance on wedding party in Desa Rantau Pandan Kecamatan Rantau Pandan Kabupaten Bungo Provinsi Jambi. Type of this study was qualitative approach with using analytical descriptive method. Type of data in this study were both primary and secondary. Data were collected by using library research, observation, interview and documentation. The study object was Bucerai Kasih dance on wedding party in Desa Rantau Pandan Kecamatan Rantau Pandan Kabupaten Bungo Provinsi Jambi. Result of this study showed that Bucerai Kasih dance was a traditional dance as the embodiment of the values of society’s daily life in Desa Rantau Pandan. It was about responsibility in living acitvies on the wedding party. The meaning of Bucerai Kasih dance which was seen in aspect of motion were spirit and working hard to keep on living. Besides, in floor pattern aspect, it could be seen that there were solidarity and team work attitudes. Then, in some tools namely properties was meant like each other sign inter the dancer. Costum was meant identity of malay and music was namely song lyric was meant worry of youth who were afraid in separating from love. Moreover, meaning of the dance on wedding party was a warning for the youth that in building of household was not easy. Performance of this dance gave satisfaction to the audicences and people who had celebration and it contained of social values namely teamwork, responsibilty and respect each other which were as the identity and the harmony of life of Desa Rantau Pandan’s society. Abstract This article aims to look at and describe the implementation of learning art and cultural education (music) at SMAN 1 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman. Type of this research is descriptive research. This research instrument is its own researchers and researchers helped by supporting instruments such as observation records and documents. This type of research is the primary data and secondary data and the data of the test i.e. non through interviews and observations in a sample of research. The format of the assessment using the observation formats check list or a percentage scale then described with descriptive analysis. The results showed that interpersonal communication through which implement all methods of learning, teacher at SMAN I Nan Sabaris succeed in the learning process. Communication strategy group that is applied to include activity planning, implementation and evaluation. Teaching and learning through interpersonal communication, either teachers or pupils can understand each other and understand each character so that the educational process can take place properly and effectively. AbstractThis article aimed to describe and explain the choreography of Mangkik Staih Dance in Sungai Penuh Tourism Culture Office, Jambi Province. The type of this research was qualitative using descriptive method. The object of this research was Mangkik Staih dance. The techniques of data collection were literature study, observation, interviews, and documentation. The techniques of data analysis were conducted by selecting the data that were considered important, compiling the selected data, analyzing the data with interpretation techniques. The results of this study indicated that the Mangkik Staih dance was a creation dance which was the development of the Asik dance which functioned as entertainment. the choreography of Mangkik Staih dance was in the form of a large group dance, the musical instruments used were tambourine, keyboard, car, bass, drum, costume that were used by Kerinci Traditional, Plate Property, Small Bowls Contain Seven Variety Flowers, Large Bowls Contain Rice and Sirih, Light Torch from Coconut, Bamboo, Broken Dishes, Stoves and Cauldrons. Abstract This article aims to improve students' learning motivation by using audiovisual media in learning the art of music. The type of this research was classroom action research held in 2 cycles. The object of the research was the students of class VII-3, amounting to 32 students with 15 male students and 17 female students. The research instrument was the researcher herself and the teacher of Art Culture as observer. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, questionnaire, literature study, and motivational observation sheet with happy indicator, attention, concentration, and persistence. The results showed that learning the art of music by using audiovisual media could improve students' learning motivation in class VII-3, and had a good impact on the process of learning music. This statement was evidenced by the average percentage of each indicator of motivation to learn which was on the indicator happy with the average percentage of 59% increased to 78%, and the indicator attention with the average percentage of 44% increased to 76%, the indicator concentration with the average- average percentage 45% increased to 78%, and persistence indicator with average 42% percentage increased to 73%. Thus, from result of observation obtained that the result of student learning motivation in cycle I with average 47% categorized medium and increased in cycle II become 76% categorized very high. Moreover, the results of questionnaires that have researchers distributed to students there was an enhancement that was in cycle I obtained by 76% percentage and in cycle II 88%. In summary, authors can draw the conclusion that the using audiovisual media learning art music in class VII-3 SMP Negeri 1 Painan has succeeded increase student learning motivation. Abstract This Article aim to find and describe how orgen tunggal gave influence toward the society and youth of Kampung Air Panjang Jorong Kuamang Kenagarian Panti Timur Kabupaten Pasaman. Type of this study was qualitative with descriptive method. Technique of collecting data was done by using library research, investigation, interview, and documentation. Data was classified into two, they were primary and secondary. Based on result of the study, the show of orgen tunggal had influence which big enough toward the society and youth of Kampung Air Panjang Jorong Kuamang Kenagarian Panti Timur Kabupaten Pasaman. The influence it can be seen of positive perspective which was based on opinion that given by host were effective and low cost for the society and they were a practical entertainment and medium to show the singing talent. The influence of negative one which was based on society opinion, said that use rythm of the music were disturb, the sexy appearance of the artists, appearance exceeded the time limit and the used of beer by the audiences in the show. Those things ruined image of orgen tunggal in Kampung Air Panjang Jorong Kuamang Kenagarian Panti Timur Kabupaten Pasaman. Keywords: positive influence, negative influence, orgen tunggal

AbstractThis study was based on research finding that there were blind children who were talented in singing at SLB Wacana Asih Padang. Therefore, this study was done for the purpose of self-development activities of singing on blind children in SLB Wacana Asih Padang in order to expressed a description of actualizing, phenomenon background, social reality, and perceptions of research target. This study was classified as qualitative research which used descriptive approach. Instruments in this study were the researchers Techniques of data collection were done by using observation, interview, documentation and libarary research. Result of this research showed that students could develop and express themeselves in distributing their interest and talent. In the purpose of its implementation psychologically, they were directed to have the confidence and bravery to speak and move, and have the feeling that they wereaqualwith the normal children. In the implementation ofself- development of singing, teachers should apply the method of imitation i.e. the way of presentation of lessons where teachers gave, so the students could practice and recite the words of the song lyric continuously. MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SENI TARI SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA AUDITIF DI SMP NEGERI 25 PADANG Haryono Haryono; Fuji Astuti; Herlinda Mansyur

Abstract The background of the research was low mastery of students towards a learning material that would cause the low accomplishment of the most dance learning outcomes of students. It had not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) in the class VIII.4 SMP Negeri 25 Padang. One of the factors that influence the low learning outcomes of students was the application of learning media that had not been able to demand the active role of students. Therefore it was necessary to do research by applying auditive media to see student dance learning outcomes. The type of this research was classroom action research. The subject in this study were students of class VIII.4 SMP Negeri 25 Padang registered in the 2017/2018 school year consisting of 32 students. In this study, the method of data collection was using the learning outcome test in the form of posttest at the end of each cycle and observation sheet. The data obtained were analyzed using the classical learning completeness formula. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an enhancement of students in each cycle. In the first cycle, the students who got the score of 70 and above (according to the success criteria of the action) were 20 (62.50%) and 12 students (37.50%) who still got the score below 70. For cycle II, the number of students who got score above 70 was increased to 25 people (81.25%) while students who got below 70 were decreased to 7 people (18.75%) which meant the learning outcomes f dance have been increased. Thus, it could be concluded that the application of auditive media could improve the students’ learning outcomes of dance at SMP Negeri 25 Padang.
