Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the student's living environment on physics learning achievement of class XI IPA students of YPPK Yos Sudarso High School Merauke in the 2018/2019 school year. This research is a type of quantitative research. The research subjects were class XI IPA students at YPPK Yos Sudarso High School Merauke. The sampling technique uses total sampling. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires to determine the influence of the environment and learning achievement seen from the value of students' report cards. Descriptive and inferential statistics analysis, which includes calculating correlation, normality test, t test and hypothesis test. The results obtained by the hypothesis test sig value. equal to 0.00 with a level of sig 0.05 (0.00 5 0.05), then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. So that it can be concluded that there is a significant effect on the student's living environment towards the physics learning achievement of students at YPPK Yos Sudarso High School Merauke.

Abstract

Confront the pandemic COVID-19, online learning implemented at various level education. Online learning can be implemented with assistance Whatsapp application. This research was qualitative research with observe online learning activities. Conclution from this research was online learning assisted whatsapp can be alternative to teach non-exact material. The use of whatsapp application that was familiar to students make learning esier to implement. This online learning assisted whatsapp can also be applied in networks with slow internet access.

Abstract

The research purposed to determine the feasibility of pocket book as a learning media on the sub-material endocrine system in Senior High School grade XIth. This research used a descriptive method with a survey research form. The research instrument used a validation sheet consisting of 3 aspects including the format, content, and language aspects which were validated by 5 validators. Assessment of the validation sheet used a Likert scale and data analysis is based on Lawshe (1975). Based on the results of the study, it shows that the format aspect gets a CVR value of 1 in the valid category, the content aspect gets a CVR value of 1 in the valid category, and the language aspect gets a CVR value of 1 with the valid category. Overall, the data from the validation results of pocket book media get a Content Validity Index (CVI) value of 1.00 > 0.99 so that the pocket book media is valid and suitable for use as a learning media for the sub-material endocrine system in Senior High School grade XIth

Abstract

Environmental pollution due to inappropriate waste management is a global problem. Open dumping and burning of waste in the open are the main waste management practices often applied to low-income countries. The biggest environmental problem in Indonesia is usually garbage. Generally, the waste that is often found in the school environment is organic and inorganic. Plastics, drink bottles and paper are examples of the types of inorganic waste often found in the school environment. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of organic and inorganic waste grouping as well as waste management and utilization. The data collection technique is to use a closed questionnaire. A total of 15 items and a total sample of 29 people. The data obtained from the questionnaire results are then made in narrative form. Based on the results of the research, some students have not been able to distinguish between organic and inorganic waste. The lack of available trash bins in the school environment can trigger students to care less about disposing of garbage in its place, some students do not also know waste management and utilization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Musamus, Merauke. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah fisika dasar pada tahun akademik 20192 yang berjumlah 39 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian formatif berbasis Quiziz yang diperoleh mahasiswa pada materi fisika dasar khususnya Hukum Newton dan Penerapannya. Tujuan penelitiannya adalah mendeskripsikan hasil penilaian formatif berbasis Quizizz pada mata kuliah fisika dasar pada masa Covid-19 Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal pilihan ganda dengan 5 pilihan jawaban yang berjumlah 12 nomor. Validitas instrumen penelitian menggunakan product momen dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan KR-20. hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata kemampuan mahasiswa pada 4 indikator materi hukum Newton dan Penerapannya diketahui bahwa indikator 1 yang diwakili oleh 3 nomor soal memiliki rata-rata persentase 68,67%. Indikator 2 yang diwakili 3 butir soal mencapai rata-rata persentase 70,67%. Indikator 3 yang diwakili 3 butir soal memperoleh presentase 77,33%. Indikator 4 yang diwakili 3 butir soal mencapai persentase 69,33%. Secara keseluruhan indikator dengan rata-rata skor tertinggi adalah indikator 3 dengan rata-rata 77,33% dan indikator dengan skor terendah adalah indikator 1 dengan rata-rata skor 68,67%. Rata-rata skor yang diperoleh pada 4 indikator tersebut adalah 71,5% sehingga berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

Model pembelajaran Generatif membantu siswa mengkonstruksi pengetahuan dan meningkatkan keterampilan seccara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kendari dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran generatif tentang materi gerak lurus. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas pada peserta didik kelas X MAN 1 Kendari yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan melalui; 1) pembelajaran pada siklus I dan siklus II; 2) Pemberian tes hasil belajar setiap akhir siklus dan 3) pengisian lembar observasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa adalah sebesar 65,08 dengan persentase ketuntasan 67,86% dan nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus II adalah sebesar 74,23 dengan persentase ketuntasan 85,71%. Maka disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran generatif dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar yang berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN 1 Kendari tentang materi gerak lurus.

Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research type, which aims to determine the effect of the use of comics on the ability of scientific explanation and science learning outcomes. The sample in this study were students of class VIII junior high school using 2 classes as the control class and the experimental class where the class was not randomly selected. Each class between the experimental class and the control class corresponds to 35 people. This study used a quasi experimental design. The research design used Post-test Only Control Design. The data learning technique is in the form of a post-test which is done at the end of the lesson. Analysis method The assessment of students' learning abilities and outcomes uses statistical tests in the form of the Independent Sample T-test with the help of SPSS. The results showed the average value of the scientific explanation ability of the experimental class was 92.00 while the control class was 51.20, and the experimental class learning outcomes average was 88.00, while the control class was 78.43. Abstract

The research objective was to determine whether or not there is an effect of discovery learning model with multiple representations on physics learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 4 Palu students on straight motion material. To find out the students' initial ability in the experimental class and the control class in the straight motion material, a preliminary test was held. After that, the experimental class was treated using a discovery learning model with multiple representations and the control class using a discovery learning model. After learning is complete, the two classes are again given the final test to test the results. Based on the results of the two classes, the final test showed that the experimental class average was 17.93 with a standard deviation of 2.68 and the control class was 16.70 with a standard deviation of 2.53. From the results of the analysis of the final test data, the ttable value is 1.67 and the tcount is 2.05 at the real level α = 0.05 and dk = 68.This shows that the tcount value is outside the receiving area of ​​Ho, thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. . These results indicate that there are differences in learning outcomes between the class that is applied the discovery learning model with the multi-representation model and the class that is applied the discovery learning model. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of discovery learning model with multiple representations on physics learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 4 Palu on Straight Motion Material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kausal komparatif (causal comparatif) bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar biologi siswa akibat keterlaksanaan praktikum di kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sidrap. Hipotesis penelitian ini yaitu ada perbedaan hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang dengan SMA Negeri 1 Pangsid. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sidrap yang terdiri dari sembilan SMA negeri namun yang dipilih yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang dan SMA Negeri 1 Pangsid. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang dengan jumlah siswa 37 orang dan siswa kelas XI IPA6 SMA Negeri 1 Pangsid dengan jumlah siswa 35 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterlaksanaan praktikum dan tes evaluasi belajar untuk memperoleh data tentang hasil belajar biologi siswa. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata keterlaksanaan praktikum biologi kelas XI SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sidrap sebesar 61,35 berada pada kategori sedang dan hasil belajar rata-rata 61,36 berada pada kategori sedang. Analisis statistik inferensial yang digunakan ada tiga, yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Analisis data menggunakan uji t (sig. 2-tailed) 0,006 ≤ 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar biologi kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang dengan SMA Negeri 1 Pangsid di Kabupaten Sidrap. Perbedaan hasil belajar tersebut disebabkan karena tingkat keterlaksanaan praktikum masing-masing sekolah di Kabupaten Sidrap juga berbeda.

Abstract

Ikatan kimia merupakan salah satu materi yang bersifat abstrak. Materi ikatan kimia penting dipelajari oleh mahasiswa tadris biologi karena berhubungan dengan sifat fisika dan kimia suatu zat seperti titik didih, titik leleh, dan kepolaran molekul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep mahasiswa Tadris Biologi tahun pertama pada topik ikatan ionik dan kovalen. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah 87 mahasiswa Tadris Biologi tahun pertama. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan contoh senyawa ionik dan kovalen serta jenis ikatan kimia yang terjadi pada suatu senyawa. Mahasiswa juga mengalami kesulitan untuk menentukan jenis ikatan suatu senyawa berdasarkan kemampuannya menghantarkan listrik. Level pemahaman mahasiswa tergolong sedang yaitu dengan jumlah persentase mahasiswa yang menjawab benar pada topik ikatan ionik dan kovalen masing-masing sebesar 42,91% dan 40,18%.
