Abstract

Hijab or headscarves in Indonesian terms are clothes that cover a woman’s body, which is also God’s command in the Koran. Although there are small number of Ulama who argue that it is not an obligation because they do not us command verb (fi’il amr). The different is even more striking not obligatory or not because the majority of Ulama sya that hijab or headscarves is obligatory ot in ither terms the obligation to wear hijab for women. But the main point in this paper is which part of the woman’s body that must be closed. Whether all body or any party of the body that may be opened. It is important ti discuss woman’s genitals because in some areas of Islam, there are those cover all the bodies and some other areas that show face and two palms. Therefore, more extensive research is needed in discussing this matter. Plus it is strengthened by opinions of Ulama, in order too enlighten the views of Islamic people in the issue of hijab or headscarves.

Abstract

Kita dapat melihat bahwa para penafsir dari masa lalu telah sepakat bahwa jilbab adalah kewajiban agama bagi wanita, para sarjana sepakat pada kewajiban untuk mengenakan jilbab dan tidak setuju tentang arti memperluas jilbab, apakah membentang di seluruh tubuh kecuali satu mata, merentangkannya di seluruh tubuh kecuali mata kedua atau memperpanjang di seluruh tubuh kecuali wajah, M. Quraish Shihab menyatakan bahwa kewajiban untuk memperpanjang jilbab adalah bahwa masalah khilafiyah jelas tidak berdasar karena para ulama sepakat bahwa mereka harus mengenakan jilbab untuk Muslim wanita, karena urutannya didasarkan pada argumen yang sangat kuat.

Abstract

During this time, many politicians were political without using the Qur'an's values to fight. Quite often from them they commit political rape which is very tarnishing the essence of politics. In fact, they were born from Rahim political party political parties. By Karen, it is time for Islamic politicians to re-understand, interpret and implement the Qur'an-based politics, based on the Sunnah of the Prophet and based on the sunnah of friends and follow ulamak whose knowledge is connected to the prophet and his heart contains Allah, the mind of the Ummah.

Abstract

Character education has become the focus of attention lately because of a setback that has resulted in moral decline. In the Qur'an, characters use the term "morality" which is interpreted as a habit that is accustomed. Will and habits generate strength. If the habit of producing a good deed is called akhlakul karimah. Character education is efforts that are designed and carried out systematically to help students understand the values of human behavior that are related to God, oneself, fellow human beings, the environment, and nationality which manifests in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words, and actions based on religious norms, law, manners, culture, and customs. This paper aims to understand the formulation of the concept of Al-Quran perspective education. Through a textual and contextual understanding. Some of the concepts of character education that can be revealed from the Koran are character education in the Qur'an.

Abstract

The tradition of reading the Nariyah prayer individually and in congregation has taken root in the midst of the community especially in Situbondo district, in every corner of the city and remote villages even though every day is not empty from reciting the 4444 shalawat nariyah individually and in congregation, so that Situbondo district is the term "BUMI SHALAWAT NARIYAH". At first Jam'iyah this prayer was commanded by KH Ahmad Sufyan Miftahul Arifin (Situbondo) and KH Muhammed bin Imam Gunungsari (Madura) then continued by his students both namely KHR Moh Kholil As'ad Syamsul Arifin he was the son of KH As' ad the mediator in the formation of Jam'iyah Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) as well as the Indonesian National hero. And today the recitation of the Nariyah prayer has spread widely in various regions, in East Java, Bali, Kalimantan, DKI Jakarta, DIY Yogyakarta to foreign countries such as Malaysia and Singapore all thanks to the help of Allah SWT with the hope that Allah will flow to us all drop by drop from the ocean of God's grace which was bestowed upon the Prophet Muhammad.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an aspect of the human personality that functions important to actualize its potential. Without self-confidence, many problems will arise in humans. With the presence of confidence, someone will get along easily. Facing people who are older, smarter and richer, they are not ashamed to be awkward. They will dare to show themselves as they are, without prominently-highlighting excesses and covering up shortcomings. This is because people who are confident have truly understood and trusted their condition, so that they have been able to accept their condition as they are. Does the Qur'an talk about the concept of self-confidence? And how does the Qur'an talk about the concept of self-confidence? Of course there is no verse of the Qur'an that speaks of self-confidence lexically "al tsiqah bi al nafs" translation from confidence. However, there are many verses of the Qur'an that talk about human concepts according to the Qur'an and calls to believe in their ability to change, never be afraid and worried, do not be anxious and so on that need to be assessed thematically. According to Izzatul Jannah, the higher a person's faith, the higher the level of confidence. In the Qur'an it is stated that self-confidence in the form of a comfortable feeling of peace, without feeling sad, afraid and worried will come to those who believe in Allah swt. "Those who say:" Our Lord is God "then they affirm their position, the angels will come down to them (by saying): "Do not be afraid and do not feel sad; and delight in (obtaining) the heaven that God has promised you "(Fusshilat: 30) Confidence in the Qur'an starts from a noble conception of mankind, namely the Khalifah of Allah, the best of creatures, and creatures that are free of will. The concept of self-confidence in the Qur'an begins with having a Self Concept (Ma’rofatun Nafsi), Positive Thinking, Faith and Charity, Tawakalkepada Allah, Gratitude, and Muhasabah (Self Evaluation).

Abstract

This article tries to discuss one of the interpretations of Indonesian scholars, Kyai Asmuni Al Jaruny, namely the interpretation of Muawidzatain. It is interesting to discuss because this interpretation is the work of Indonesian Ulama who use Arabic and are written by pesantren people. This study seeks to reveal how the methodology and influence of the author's ideology in the interpretation. In interpreting Kyai Yasin Asmuni, many are inclined towards kebathinan which in the world of interpretation is known as the epistemology of irfani or shufi. The tendency of the Sunni school is also felt in its interpretation. While methodologically this interpretation is included in the category of interpretation of mawdhu'i fi suwar with the form of presentation of bi al-Ma'thur and ra'yi at the same time. This was evident, when Kyai Yasin Asmuni interpreted the verses of the Koran with his ijtihad, starting from aspects of the Arabic language as well as discussing the existing Sufi aspects and several other aspects. But on the other hand he still uses history as the basis of his interpretation. This research is a library research qualitative research and romantic hermeneutics as the approach.

Abstract

This article discusses the interpretation motto of Syeh Muhammad Abduh and Syeh Rasyid Ridha whose interpretive pattern has a great influence on the thinking of Islamic reforms in its time and time. By using the comparative method the writer tries to find out the uniqueness of each interpreter both the similarities and the differences.The result can be understood that the two exegetes have interpretive methods and styles which must be different. Al-Manar's interpretation is the greatest work of two figures who are very well known in Muslim intellectuals, he is Syeh Muhammad Abduh as the teacher, and Syeh Rasyid Ridha as a student, in answering various problems with the discourse of contextualizing the interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an ' in the Tafsir Al-Manar Book. Regarding the method he uses in interpretation has many similarities between Syeh Muhammad Abduh and Syeh Rasyid Ridha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menghadirkan wacana baru dalam kehidupan beragama di perguruan tinggi. Ekstrimisme dan radikalisme menjadi ancaman terbesar dalam iklim akademik. Tulisan ini mencoba memberikan argumen berbeda terhadap pandangan Al-Quran terhadap radikalisme dan upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mencegah penyebaran isu radikal di pendidikan tinggi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni sebuah formula dan model pengarusutamaan Islam Wasathiyah sebagai upaya untuk deradikalisasi wacana dan aksi keagamaan di kampus.

Abstract

Berbicara tentang penafsir al-Qur’an tidaklah akan terlepas dari membicarakan para mufassir ataupun penulis kitab-kitab tafsir terdahulu. Hal itu karena para mufassir masa kini merupakan penerus mufassir sebelumnya. Kalaulah ulama’ itu pewaris para Nabi dan salah satu tugas Nabi adalah menjelaskan maksud al-Qur’an maka wajarlah sejak awal ulama’ itu mengerahkan tenaga untuk melestarikan tafsir al-Qur’an demi kemaslahatan umat sebagai problem solving hari ini maupun di masa yang akan datang. Salah satu ulama’ masa kini yang turut mengerahkan tenaga dalam melestarikan tafsir al-Qur’an adalah Wahbah bin Mushtafa al-Zuhaily. Ia telah berhasil membuahkan karya tafsir yang tidak mudah rasanya dicapai oleh kebanyakan orang. Cendikiawan asal Suriah itu telah meninggalkan kitab tafsir berjilid-jilid dengan uraian-uraian yang begitu padat. Tidak berlebihan kiranya kalau penulis katakan bahwa buah karya Wahbah bin Mushtafa al-Zuhaily merupakan “emas” yang sangat berharga dalam dunia ilmu al-Qur’an dan tafsir. Artikel ini membahas Wahbah bin Mushtafa al-Zuhaily berikut kitab tafsirnya. Penulis berupaya mengenalkan kepada pembaca tentang metode Wahbah bin Mushtafa al-Zuhaily dalam menulis tafsirnya. Walaupun pembahasan dalam artikel ini tidaklah begitu detail dan mendalam, namun boleh jadi merupakan diskursus yang cukup segar dalam disiplin ilmu al-Qur’an dan Tafsir.
