Abstract

Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) relates to the problem of providing optimum service with a fleet of vehicles to customers. It is a combinatorial optimization problem. The objective is usually to maximize the profit of the operation. However, for public transportation owned and operated by government, accessibility takes priority over profitability. Accessibility usually reduces profit, while increasing profit tends to reduce accessibility. In this research, we look at how accessibility can be increased without penalizing the profitability. This requires the determination of routes with minimum fuel consumption, maximum number of ports of call and maximum load factor satisfying a number of pre-determined constraints: hard and soft constraints. To solve this problem, we propose a heuristic algorithm. The results from this experiment show that the algorithm proposed has better performance compared to the partitioning set.

Abstract

Algoritma Knuth-Morris-Pratt merupakan algoritma pencarian yang akan mencocokkan pattern atau susunan kata yang akan dicari dari kiri ke kanan pada awal teks dan kemudian menggeser susunan kata sampai susunan kata tersebut berada di ujung teks. Algoritma KMP memiliki keunggulan pencarian kecocokan pada file yang berukuran besar. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu metode Rapid Application Development. Metode RAD ini adalah strategi siklus hidup yang ditujukan untuk menyediakan pengembangan yang jauh lebih cepat dan mendapatkan hasil dengan kualitas yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil yang dicapai melalui siklus tradisional. Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Administrasi Sekolah ini diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul dari proses pengendalian dokumen secara konvensional agar lebih mudah dan tepat. Applying of Knuth-Morris-Pratt Algorithm to the Document Search Function for Website-Based School Administration Information Systems Abstract: Knuth-Morris-Pratt algorithm is a search algorithm that will match the pattern or arrangement of words to be searched from left to right at the beginning of the text and then shift the order of words until the word order is at the end of the text. The KMP algorithm has the advantage of matching matches on large files. The system development method used is the Rapid Application Development method. RAD method is a life cycle strategy aimed at providing development that is much faster and gets results with better quality compared to results achieved through traditional cycles. Application of School Administration Information System is expected to be able to overcome problems arising from conventional document control processes to make it easier and more precise. Abstract

Beasiswa merupakan pemberian berupa bantuan keuangan yang diberikan kepada perorangan. Beasiswa bertujuan untuk digunakan demi keberlangsungan pendidikan yang ditempuh. SMAN 1 Parung merupakan lembaga formal milik pemerintah yang bergerak pada bidang pendidikan. SMAN 1 Parung mempunyai program beasiswa untuk siswa berprestasi yang kurang mampu. Masalah yang kerap kali terjadi yaitu tidak tepatnya pemberian beasiswa karena hanya menggunakan rata-rata nilai rapor. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, penulis melakukan penelitian untuk menentukan penerima beasiswa menggunakan fuzzy inference system metode Mamdani, dengan kriteria rata-rata nilai rapor, pendapatan orang tua, dan jumlah tanggungan orang tua. Pendekatan yang digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan penelitian melalui studi pustaka dari penelitian terdahulu tentang penentuan penerima beasiswa, teori tentang logika fuzzy metode Mamdani, kemudian menyusun tahap-tahap yang harus dilakukan dalam penelitian. Penerapan metode dan kriteri diharapkan dapat diperoleh perhitungan yang akurat sehingga menghasilkan penilaian yang akurat terhadap siswa-siswi yang berhak mendapatkan beasiswa. Analysis and Application of the Mamdani Method Fuzzy Inference System for Determining Scholarship Recipients Abstract: Scholarships are gifts in the form of financial assistance given to individuals. Scholarships aim to be used for the sustainability of the education being pursued. SMAN 1 Parung is a formal government-owned institution which is engaged in education. SMAN 1 Parung has a scholarship program for underachievers. A problem that often occurs is the inaccuracy of scholarships because they only use an average report card grade. Based on these problems, the authors conducted a study to determine the recipient of the scholarship using the Mamdani method of fuzzy inference, with criteria for the average value of report cards, parental income, and the number of dependent parents. The approach used to solve research problems through literature studies from previous research on the determination of scholarship recipients, the theory of fuzzy logic Mamdani method, then arrange the stages that must be done in research. The application of methods and criteria is expected to be obtained by accurate calculations so as to produce an accurate assessment of students who are entitled to scholarships. Abstract

Ginjal merupakan organ penting dalam sistem metabolisme tubuh. Banyaknya aktivitas seseorang akan mempengaruhi kesehatan ginjal apabila organ tersebut tidak dijaga. Pola makan yang tidak teratur, kurangnya asupan serat dan air mineral, serta konsumsi makanan atau minuman instan berkalori tinggi akan memperberat kerja ginjal mulai dari proses filtrasi, reabsorpasi, sampai augmentasi dari zat-zat makanan yang di bawah ke ginjal melalui darah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat suatu sistem pakar untuk penyakit ginjal menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Eclipse Juno. Sistem tersebut mampu memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan penyampaian informasi yang berkaitan dengan penyakit ginjal. Pada penelitian ini pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit ginjal pada manusia, dapat memberikan manfaat yang cukup berarti antara lain proses pengolahan data dan proses konsultasi dilakukan dengan cepat serta menghasilkan laporan yang cukup akurat, sehingga membuat pekerjaan akan lebih efektif dan efisien. Expert System for Diagnosing Kidney Diseases Abstract: The weather station helps in planning socioeconomic activities Kidney is an important organ in the body's metabolic system. The amount of activity a person will affect kidney health if the organ is not maintained. Irregular eating patterns, lack of fiber and mineral water intake, and consumption of instant high-calorie foods or drinks will aggravate the kidney's work starting from the process of filtration, reabsorption, until augmentation of food substances below the kidneys through the blood. The purpose of this study is to create an expert system for kidney disease using the Eclipse Juno programming language. The system is able to provide services to the community and delivery of information related to kidney disease. In this study data collection was carried out using observation and literature study methods. The results of this study indicate that with an expert system of diagnosing kidney disease in humans, it can provide significant benefits including data processing and consultation processes carried out quickly and produce reports that are quite accurate, so as to make the work more effective and efficient Keywords: Expert System, Disease, Kidney.

Abstract

This study develops a garbage monitoring based on Internet of Things (IoT) that can be used in the garbage management system in the city. Through this project, it can help to keep the city clean from the rubbish. By using Blynk as an application, this project will monitor the garbage bins and send the notification to the garbage collector about the level of garbage collected in the garbage bins. By receiving the information about the garbage level, the garbage collector will come on time in collecting the rubbish. The objective and purpose in developing smart garbage monitoring system is to save the time between users and the garbage collector.

Abstract

PT. Matahari Putra Prima merupakan perusahaan yang cukup berkembang dibidang ritel di mana terdapat banyak karyawan yang dipekerjakan di sana. Penyeleksian karyawan berprestasi merupakan masalah yang sangat penting bagi pihak HRD karena perlimpahan karyawan untuk meningkatkan penghargaan untuk perusahaan tersebut. Untuk menentukan yang karyawan berprestasi ini, manajer harus mempertimbangkan lebih banyak faktor, dan pengajuannya harus dilakukan sesuai tujuan. Pengguna dapat memberikan hasil sesuai kebutuhan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan adalah Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Dari hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan metode SAW melalui pengumpulan hirarki dan atribut keputusan yang ditambahkan alternatif dan penilaian yang telah ditentukan akan memudahkan manajer dalam menentukan keputusan terhadap karyawan mana yang layak dipertimbangkan berprestasi. Untuk melakukan perhitungan semua kriteria dalam pengambilan keputusan ini, dilakukan dengan alat bantu aplikasi yang dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java. Performance Appraisal for Outstanding Employees Using the Simple Additive Weighting Method Abstract: PT. Matahari Putra Prima is a well-developed company in the retail sector where there are many employees employed there. The selection of outstanding employees is a very important issue for the HRD because of the delegation of employees to increase appreciation for the company. The method that can be used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). From the results of the study using the SAW method through the collection of hierarchies and decision attributes that are added alternatives and predetermined assessments will facilitate managers in determining decisions on which employees are worth considering achievement. To calculate all the criteria in making this decision, it is done with application tools developed using the Java programming language. Abstract

As part of our project which aims at the realization of a system named ASTEMOI. In this article, we display a new and productive facial image representation based on the Local Sensitive Hash (LSH). This technique makes it possible to recognize the learners who follow their training in our learning platform. Once recognized, the student must be oriented towards an appropriate profile that takes into account his strengths and weaknesses. We also use a light processing module on the client device with a compact code so that we don’t need a lot of bandwidth, a lot of network transmission capacity to send the feature over the network, and to be able to index many pictures in a huge database in the cloud.

Abstract

One popular clustering technique - the K-means widely use in educational scope to clustering and mapping document, data, and user performance in skill. K-means clustering is one of the classical and most widely used clustering algorithms shows its efficiency in many traditional applications its defect appears obviously when the data set to become much more complicated. Based on some research on K-means algorithm shows that Number of a cluster of K-means cannot easily be specified in much real-world application, several algorithms requiring the number of cluster as a parameter cannot be effectively employed. The aim of this paper describes the perspective K-means problems underlying research. Literature analysis of previous studies suggesting that selection of the number of clusters randomly cause problems such as suitable producing globular cluster, less efficient if as the number of cluster grow K-means clustering becomes untenable. From those literature reviews, the heuristic optimization will be approached to solve an initial number of cluster randomly.

Abstract

This study was aimed to increase the performance of the Predicting Student Academic Performance (PSAP) system, and the outcome is to develop a web application that can be used to analyze student performance during present semester. Development of the web-based application was based on the evolutionary prototyping model. The study also analyses the accuracy of the classifier that is constructed for the prediction features in the web application. Qualitative approaches by user evaluation questionnaire were used for this study. A number of few personnel expert users which are lecturers from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris were chosen as respondents. Each respondent is instructed to answer a total of 27 questions regarding respondent’s background and web application design. The accuracy of the classifier for the prediction features is tested by using the confusion matrix by using the test set of 24 rows. The findings showed the views of respondents on the aspects of interface design, functionality, navigation, and reliability of the web-based application that is developed. The result also showed that accuracy for the classifier constructed by using ID3 classification model (C4.5) is 79.18% and the highest compared to Naïve Bayes and Generalized Linear classification model.

Abstract

This paper predominantly explains the use of a simplistic uni-polar device to obtain EEG for the development of a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI). In contrast, BCI's eye-blinking stimuli can also be obtained. Consequently, focus and eye-blinking stimuli can be captured as control pulses in electric wheelchairs via a computer interface and electrical interface. This survey paper aims to provide a feasible solution to integrate a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) with automated identification and avoidance of obstacles. The automated obstacle detection and avoidance system aims to provide a way to easily detect obstacles and easily correct the course.
