Abstract

Padang Beach has a typical culinary tour like Langkitang. Typical food is one of the factors supporting a region's famous. This study aims to analyze the demand and supply of typical food langkitang in Padang Beach. In particular it aims to analyze the market balance that is influenced by the price of the goods itself, the price of the substitute, the consumer's income, the number of buyers, the cost of production, and the number of producers in the market. The type of research conducted in this study is the type of descriptive quantitative research by survey method. The population of this study are visitors who buy typical food Langkitang and typical food vendors Langkitang which has a stall in the area of ​​Padang Beach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, the buyer is 10 people based on the number of samples from the merchant as many as 10 people, with the assumption that 1 trader 1 buyer. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire. The data obtained will be analyzed and interpreted in accordance with the objectives and research hypotheses that have been proposed. The analysis was conducted using simultaneous equation model and market balance equation method. Based on the results of this study can be emphasized that the demand and supply of typical food Langkitang in Padang Beach has reached the point of market balance, which is at the equilibrium price of Rp. 4,600, - the proportion with the balance quantity of 32 servings. This means that the equilibrium price will determine the quantity of balance between demand and supply of typical food of Langkitang in Padang Beach. Break event point is on sale of 21 servings of Langkitang with revenue of Rp. 105.000, -.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the promotion strategy through advertising media at Desa Wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang view from 3 indicator: print media, electronic media, outdoor media. The research is a descriptive qualitative with survey method. Determination of informant using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The purposive sampling technique involving 2 informant from tourism govermant and 2 informant from desa wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang manager then snowball sampling technique involving 3 informant from desa wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang visitor. Technique of collecting data is done by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the strength of promotion advertising are: news paper easy to get, the picture quality on brochure have a good and interesting, radio can be heard anywhere, television give information through sound and picture, desa wisata Kubu Gadang also have a website and a big billboard with a perfect lighting. 2) the weakness of promotion advertising are: there was no promotion through a brochure, there was no update on the Kubu Gadang’s website, the billboard was vulnerable of damage. 3) the opportunities of promotion advertising are: there are many people who still interest to read the newspaper and brochure, there are many people who interest of internet using, many people can see the outdoor media as if billboard and baliho. 4) the threats of promotion advertising are: there are competitor through print media, television and outdoor media. The conclusion of The promotion strategy through advertising media at Desa Wisata Kubu Gadang Kota Padang Panjang is 1) making use of print media for promotion, 2) to increase the promotion thourgh radio, television and website/internet, 3) making advertising through outdoor media as if billboard and baliho.

Abstract

Technology in this our world is always growing rapidly. Technology can be used as an indicator that shows enhancement in a sector. In the education sector, advanced technology influences the way we teach and the way we learn. Fashion education also cannot avoid the influence of technology. Teachers and learners in Fashion education ideally should utilize the technology in their learning process. Technology has a close relationship with constructivism. Both technology and constructivism is equally lead people in constructing their own knowledge independently. This article is intended to describe briefly and clearly about the definition of Fashion education, the definition of constructivism, as well as the application of technology and constructivism in Fashion education.

Abstract

Leaf avocado (Persea americana, mill) and Banana Mas (Moses sp) is a plant that has high potassium content and low levels of sodium. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of addition of avocado leaf extract to organoleptic quality and potassium banana pudding level. Type of research is true experimental with completely randomized design method. The data used was obtained directly from 25 semi trained panelists. Data analyzed by using ANOVA, if different real continued with Test Duncan. Addition of Leaf avocado and Banana Mas affect the levels of acceptance in terms of color, aroma and flavor but does not affect the texture. Addition of eggs also affects the level of potassium. Best assessment results obtained on treated banana with the addition of avocado leaf extract as much 250 ml ©. Potassium content of pudding with adding leaf avocado 0, 200ml dan 250ml respectively 0,0365 %, 0,0577 %, 0,0790 %

Abstract

Creativity is an important role in the education of Fashion Education because only creative individuals can produce creative ideas and products. The Fashion Education has to perform its function for the formation of character, work culture, personality, skill, knowledge, behavior and various life skill according to the demands of work world. Fashion Education is still not maximized in developing the creativity of students, especially the ability to think creatively in solving the problems of daily life that it faces. For that required the creativity of educators to foster student creativity. Student creativity will emerge, if the teacher as a pilot in the classroom also has adequate creativity. The subject matter that has been prepared in the syllabus, should be well developed to achieve the predetermined educational objectives. The development of creativity can be done with brainstorming learning, giving motivation, bringing creative people to school and not limit the student excessively by directing students to express and actualize themselves in relation to oneself, to nature, and to others.

Abstract

Resources factors and attraction or core resources and states in order to attractors event in a tourist destination , includes: phsysiography and climate , culture and history , market ties , mix of activities , the tourism suprastructure by factors in support of and resources ( supporting factors and states in order to resources event in a tourist destination, includes: infrastructures , accessibility , facilitating resources , hospitality and politic will. The methodology used in this study is descriptive quantitative to see the condition of core resources and attractors and supporting factors in tourist destinations Kandi Tourism Object of Kota Sawahlunto, correlation method to see the relationship between the factor itself and its relationship with tourist destination Object Kandi Kota Sawahlunto regresional method to find out how big the influence of core resources and attractors factors and supporting factors that exist on the tourist attraction in Kandi Sawahlunto Tourism Object. The result of the research is the development of tourism object conducted by the Department of Tourism and Culture of Sawahlunto City in the Tourism Object of Kencana Kota Sawahlunto has started to show good development seen from the course resources and attractors and supporting factors is 51%. Factors that influence the attractiveness tourist destinations Kandi Sawahlunto Tourism Objects are the variables that exist in course resources and attractors and supporting factors are very significant effect on tourist attraction, such as culture and history variables, mix of activity and infrastructure.

Abstract

This study is based on the behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall. This study aims to determine consumer behavior in consuming fast food. The type of research used is descriptive research. The population is teenage consumers who come to Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall restaurant is not known the exact number and taken samples through incidental sampling. Primary data in this study obtained directly from the respondents with the format of questionnaire. Analysis technique by determining the frequency distribution of data and determine the level of achievement of respondents. The results showed that the behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall is good. The behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall with sub indicators of good knowledge. The behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall with sub indicators of good attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of substitution of taro flour as much 25%, 50% and 75% on quality choux paste covers volume, shape, color, smell, texture and taste. The type of this research was pure experiments (true experiment) with completely randomized design method. Data tipe that is primary data sourced from 30 semi trained panelists by replying the organoleptic test format. Analyze data using ANAVA, if Fcount > Ftable then proceed with Duncan test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on quality volume, shape, color, smell, and taste, and there was no significant effect on quality texture. The best result based on organoleptic test found in X1 with substitution of taro flour as much 25%.

Abstract

This study attempts to assess conformity diploma attitude entrepreneurs on the establishment of the alumni fashion entrepreneurship of engineering faculty state university the ( TB FT UNP ) .This research use the model input assessment , processing and products (Cipp) by stufflebeam et al .1971 .The population in research is alumni diploma TB FT UNP about 218 people. All made the sample population. An analysis of data using descriptive statistics .error research instruments measured by the correlation items and referral experts , while index standard deviation value cronbach alpha that reflects the between 0.70 to 0.97 . May be trustworthy item is high and acceptable .The results of the curriculum , not appropriate to form attitude entrepreneurship score of min 3.33 and standard deviation 0.92 but based on the establishment of the thought entrepreneurship min 3.91 and standard deviation 0.91 . Abstract

This research aims to formulate a development strategy that consists of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of tourism activities in the tourism object Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative data. Data collection techniques in this research were conducted by using the method of interviewing, observation and documentation involving several informants by using purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The strength of the development of tourism activities in the tourism object Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah is the existence of a supportive land, there has been a conscious group of tourism, beautiful atmosphere and uniqueness of tourist attractions and traditions that are not owned by other regions. 2) The weakness of the development of tourism activities in the tourism object Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah is the land that still belongs to the community, not regular art and cultural events, the security of tourists wich are not guaranteed and the lack of capital and community skills. 3) Opportunities from the development of tourism activities in the tourism object Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah is the availability of new employment opportunities for the community, adding tourist attractions supporting facilities, the cooperation between various agencies, and the emergence of groups that support tourism activities. 4) The threat of tourism activity in the tourism object Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah is the increasing of waste, the destruction of the environment, the emergence of groups that disturb the security of tourists, and illegal traders. Strategy of development of tourism activity in the tourism object Ikan Sakti Sungai Janiah is a) to maximize the surrounding potential of land and human resources, b) cooperate with various institutions and community, c) optimize the participation of various circles related to tourism activities, d) adding supporting facilities for the smoothness of tourism activities.
