Abstract

Ecotourism is a form of sustainable tourism development that benefits natural, economic and socio-cultural environments. The issue of glombal warming is aware of the importance of developing tourism with the concept of sustainable ecoturism. The aplication of the ecotourism concept can minimize the negative impacts that accur mainly on the natural environment. This article aims to analyze tourist perceptions and tourism development related to ecoturism principles.The data was obtained by observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews and literature study. Then, the data were analyzed using descriptive frequency qualitative techniques. The result showed that tourist perceptions of the destinasion in Baluran national Park consisted of three variables, namely accessibility, facilities, and attractions. In accessibility variables, tourist perception are not good, facilities anf attractions ara classified as good. Tourism development related to ecotourism that manager have adopted the conscept of ecotourism as stated in the stategic plan in 2015-2019. Implementation of the basic principle of ecotourism according to the international Ecotourism Society in Baluran National Park is quite good by percentage of 73%. Generally , the principle indicators of ecotourism have not been maximally, so there is a need to improve the quality of tourism products, especially ecotourism

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh pengamatan peneliti tehadap pastry room di Premier Basko Hotel By Lariz Padang, permasalahannya adalah air yang digunakan untuk mengolah makanan kurang hygiene, saluran air limbah mengalir tidak lancar, tempat sampah berdekatan dengan meja pengolahan dan memiliki satu jenis tempat sampah, dan tempat pencucian bahan dan peralatan memiliki satu bak pencuci. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis sanitasi air bersih, saluran air limbah, tempat sampah, dan tempat pencucian bahan dan peralatan pastry room di Premier Basko Hotel By Lariz Padang. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dengan data kualitatif, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data ini di analisis secara reduksi yaitu merangkum, memilih, dan memfokuskan pada hal-hal penting saja, serta menganalisis data yang diperoleh dengan masalah yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan air bersih yang digunakan belum memenuhi standar sanitasi, saluran air limbah mengalir kurang lancar, tempat sampah berdekatan dengan makanan serta tempat sampah hanya memiliki satu jenis tanpa ada penutup di bagian atas, dan tempat pencucian bahah dan peralatan hanya memiliki satu bak, salurannya sudah terhubung dan tertutup namun aliran limbahnya kadang tersumbat, kran air yang tersedia hanya suhu panas. Abstract

Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Area is cultural preservation designated by the Jakarta government as a location for the preservation and development of Betawi culture. As one of the cultural tourism destinations in the center of the Capital that always strives to maintain and improve all important aspects that have an impact on the sustainability of the tourist destination itself. The Tourists mostly come from West Java, Jabodetabek, and Foreign. Therefore, the authors conducted a pre-study on tourists’ revisit intention of Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan which produces that tourists revisit intention is low. Implementing the customer experience to be expected could increase the revisit intention to Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan. This type of research was descriptive quantitative, the survey method used was the questioner with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data analysis technique was using the multiple regression techniques. These results show there is a partial influence on customer experience consisting of comfort, education, hedonic, novelty, safety, and beauty to tourists’ revisit intention of Perkampungan Budaya Betawi Setu Babakan. The beauty dimension of the customer experience variable got the highest score and the intention to recommend in revisit intention got the highest score

Abstract

The research objectives are 1) Analyzing the effectiveness of online learning according to the experiences of students, teachers, and parents; 2) Knowing the learning outcomes of Indonesian Cake Products; 3) Analyzing the relationship between the effectiveness of online learning according to the student experience and learning outcomes of Indonesian Cake Products. The research location is at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin Deli Serdang, North Sumatra. The research time is November 2020-January 2021. The population is all students of class XI culinary, teachers who teach in class XI culinary, and parents of class XI culinary students. The sampling technique in total sampling amounted to 114 people. Data collection techniques used are tests and questionnaires. Data analysis by Descriptive data a and Spearman Rank test. Based on the result of research on the effectiveness of online learning according to the experiences of students, teachers, and parents, it is categorized as quite effective with scores of 86 percent, 71.43 percent, and 78 percent, respectively. The trend level of learning outcomes for Indonesian Cake Products is in the good category with a value of 84 percent. Based on the results of the spearman rank correlation analysis, there is a positive and significant relationship between the effectiveness of online learning based on student experience and the learning outcomes of Indonesian Cake products with a sig (p) = 0.00 <0.05 (r = 0.985) meaning the higher the effectiveness of online according to the student experience, the learning outcomes of Indonesian Cake Products are getting higher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the interest of adult women in facial skincare using the thread lifting method. The population of this study was consumers who visited the clinic to do facial treatment thread lifting. The research sample was taken as many as 34 female consumers aged 30-60 years, who visited the clinic to do facial treatment thread lifting. The research method used was a descriptive quantitative method. Data were collected using a survey method. The survey in this study uses a closed questionnaire to get an overview of the aspects of wants, interests, needs, knowledge. The research instrument used a Likert scale with a range of 1-5 levels. The answers range from very positive (scale 5) to very negative (scale 1). Based on the results of the study showed that the interest of adult women in thread lifting large threads on indicators of need with a percentage of 78.7%. So, it can be concluded that the interest of adult women in thread lifting for facial skin care is in a good category.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) Memperoleh kualitas yang terbaik dari Royal icing ekstrak kulit manggis dengan ukuran ditinjau dari mutu sensori. 2) Menganalisis tingkat respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran dekorasi kue pada materi royal icing sebagai pelapis cake menggunakan pewarna alami ekstrak kulit manggis ditinjau dari aspek tampilan, penyajian dan aplikasi, serta minat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboraturium Pastry and Bakery, Program Studi Tata Boga, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Keseluruhan rata-rata terbaik pada royal icing dengan penggunaan pewarna alami ekstrak kulit buah manggis 10% sebesar rata-rata 4,1 dengan kriteria warna pink muda, rasa manis, agak beraroma kulit buah manggis, tekstur agak kering, dan melekat kuat pada cake. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata respon mahasiswa pada aspek tampilan diperoleh 86,51% dengan kategori Sangat Tinggi. Kemudian aspek penyajian dan aplikasi memperoleh rata-rata respon mahasiswa sebesar 76,86% dengan kategori Tinggi. Dan rata-rata respon mahasiswa pada aspek minat diperoleh 89,9% dengan kategori Sangat Tinggi.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world, including Indonesia, has had a crucial influence on the tourism industry. It is undeniable that the tourism industry in Indonesia seems to be in suspended animation due to unpreparedness for this disaster. From the supply side, tourism entrepreneurs are overwhelmed because of the absence of visits due to flight closures, travel minimization, and strict rules regarding the closure of tourist attractions during 2019. From the demand side, the community's need for tourism remains high, interest in traveling is even greater after one year "at home". In mid-2020 when tourism policies began to be relaxed, there was a revival of this industry's revival. There has been a change in tourist travel patterns during this pandemic, not just looking for beautiful tourist attractions, but also safe areas. The research that has been done shows that the pattern of tourist visits changes, there is an adaptation to the pandemic conditions. In-depth interviews were conducted on informants to obtain accurate data, tourists and tourist attraction managers were key informants. Some of the changes include: use of vehicles, selection of locations that offer health protocols, and expenses

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the low SMP student’s interest in Sungai Penuh City Jambi Province to continue their study to SMK, dispute the government had planned to increase the amount of SMK with comparison SMK: SMA about 70 % : 30 % (Restra Diknas tahun 2007). When the pre research was in progress, there was a fact that SMK was less favorite among SMP students. This research tried to disclose the relation of implementation of career guidance and SMP students perception about SMK has significant relation with the students interest of students to continue their study to SMK. The proposed hypothesis: (1) career guidance implementation had a significant relation with the interest to continue the study to SMK ; (2) SMP students perception about SMK had a sifnificant relation with their interest to continue the study to SMK ; (3) career guidance implementation and SMP students perception about SMK had a sifnificant relation with the students interest to continue study to SMK. This research used correlation method. The research population was students of class IX SMP Sungai Penuh, Jambi. Total populations were 1542 people with the sample 94 people who were taken by stratified proportional random sampling techniques. The data were collected by using questionnaire with likert scale. This research proved that (1) career guidance implementation had a significant contribution about 28,3 %, (2) SMP students perception about SMK had a significant contribution about 17,8 %, (3) both career guidance implementation and SMP students perception about SMK had significant contribution about 39 % to word the interest to continue study to SMK. Based on this research, it could be concluded that career guidance implementation and SMP students perception about SMK were two important factors that contribute the students interest to continue their study to SMK in Sungai Penuh City, Jambi Province. Therefore it is recommented to the related people in SMK to these two factors so that the interest to continue the study to SMK can be increased.

Abstract

The characteristic of ESP that puts more emphasis on the ability of students to perform tasks relevant to the world of work requires a learning approach that allows the transfer of authentic activities in the work field to the learning activities in the classroom. Many studies then suggest that Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) approach meets this special trait. The application of this approach, however, still confuses some ESP teachers or lecturers in which they find it difficult to distinguish the terms of “task” in TBLT with tasks in ordinary classes. This descriptive qualitative research then seeks to describe the nature of tasks in TBLT and reveal the lecturers’ knowledge on that approach. The subjects of the research were all of the lecturers teaching ESP classes at State University of Padang (UNP). The data were obtained through a literature study and interviews. The data gathered then were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research reveal what task in TBLT is and the extent to which the ESP lecturers know about TBLT

Abstract

Penelitian ini dikarenakan kurang terawatnya sarana dan prasarana yang sudah ada hal ini akan membuat pengunjung merasa tidak nyaman berada di Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang masih terdapatnya masalah terkait sarana dan prasarana seperti sarana toilet yang tidak terawat, tempat parkir yang sempit warung makan dan prasarana jalan yang rusak dan berlubang. Dilihat dari potensi yang ada seperti masih tersedianya lahan yang kosong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meganalisis strategi pengembangan sarana dan prasarana di Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan data kualitatif dengan metode survei. Variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu sarana dan prasarana dengan indikator sarana (Toilet,Tempat Parkir dan Warung Makan) dan Prasarana (Jalan). Dengan informan penelitian ini seperti Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Solok, Pengelola Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang, Pemuda dan masyarakat serta pengunjung Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, data analisis SWOT dan strategi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa sarana (Toilet, Tempat Parkir dan Warung Makan) dan Prasarana (Jalan) berpotensi untuk dikembangkan di Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang dilihat dari kekuatan dan peluang yaitu masih adanya lahan yang kosong, pemandangan yang masih asri selama perjalanan mengunjungi Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang serta debit air panas yang terus mengalir. Meskipun ada kelemahan dan ancaman yang terjadi seperti lahan yang masih milik pribadi, biaya yang cukup besar untuk dikembangkan. Sarana dan Prasarana bisa untuk dikembangkan jika Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Solok dapat bekerja sama dengan baik dengan masyarakat sekitar objek wisata dan juga pemilik Objek Wisata Aie Angek Bukik Gadang Key Words : Sarana, Prasarasana
