Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan rendahya disiplin karyawan Hotel Grand Inna Muara Padang yang terlihat dari tidak dipatuhinya jam kerja kantor dengan dibuktikan karyawan yang datang terlambat dan karyawan sering tidak berada pada bagiannya masing-masing saat jam kerja terlebih pada saat pimpinan tidak ada ditempat. Peneliti juga menemukan masalah terkait kinerja karyawan dilihat dari sisi pencapaian tingkat hunian kamar yang belum sesuai harapan manajemen hotel. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel Grand Inna Muara Padang. Populasi adalah seluruh karyawan hotel dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 130 orang, sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive or judgemental sampling dengan jumlah sampel 98 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel Exogenous (penyebab), terhadap variabel Endogenous (akibat). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontribusi variabel disiplin terhadap kinerja karyawan Hotel Grand Inna Muara Padang yaitu sebesar 6,2%. Hal ini berarti semakin baik disiplin karyawan dilihat dari absensi/kehadiran, taat pada kewajiban dan tugas, dan bekerja sesuai prosedur maka akan meningkatkan aktivitas kerja sehingga kinerja yang diharapkan tercapai.

Abstract

Padang Restaurant business today shows a relatively rapid development, proven by the increasing number of Padang Restaurants in Indonesia. This indicates that the intensity of competition in the restaurant business is getting stronger. The tendency of people or customer eating in the Padang restaurant is considered to have its own taste, which is able to provide a place in the hearts of food lovers. This kind of opportunity is used by the Lamun Ombak Restaurant to provide a service model that is really needed by the surrounding community. The variety of products and service systems for the Lamun Ombak Restaurant, in fact, can relatively influence purchasing decisions so that maximum customer satisfaction can be created. This study aims to determine the effect of the marketing mix on customer satisfaction at Lamun Ombak Restaurant. The research design used surveys and research methods which are associative methods. The research instrument uses a Likert scale, and the analysis technique uses multiple linear regressions, considering the model is composed of a number of causal relationships between latent variables. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengahasilkan bahan ajar yang valid dan praktis pada mata kuliah analisis tekstil dengan pokok pembahasan batik tulis. Bahan ajar ini digunakan untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan proses belajar, memberi kontribusi dan solusi dalam mengatasi kendala yang ada, serta memberi ruang lingkup sebagai sarana dalam belajar. Bahan ajar batik tulis disusun berdasarkan silabus dan kebutuhan mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model penelitian 4D yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian, tahap perencanaan, tahap pengembangan dan tahap penyebaran. Namaun dalam penelitian ini tahap penyebaran tidak dilakukan mengingat keterbatasan peneliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian data uji validitas dengan hasil 83,35% kategori sangat valid. Sedangkan data uji praktikalitas dengan hasil 85,89% kategori sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar batik tulis layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah analisis tekstil.

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Penerapan Quality Control Di Laundry Hotel Basko Padang. Penelitian ini terdiri dari lima Indikator dari lima indikator itu hanya 1 yang di teliliti dari lima indikator tersebut. Dari lima indikator itu hanya Proses kerja di laundry Hotel Basko Padang saja yang di teliti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan data kualitatif. Penentuan informan peneliti dengan purposive sampling yaitu 1 orang Manager Laundry, 1 orang Supervisor Laundry, 2 orang karyawan operasional Laundry Hotel. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara,observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang di gunakan yaitu dengan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil peneliti secara umum penerapan Quality Control Di Laundry Hotel Basko Padang yang di lihat dari Proses Laundry berupa: Taking Order yang di lakukan oleh Order Taker maupun dari karyawan Laundry itu sendiri, Pengambilan Pakain (picking-up), Pengecekkan dan Pemberian Identitas (cheking dan marking), Pencucian (washing), Pemerasan (extracting), Proses Pengeringan (drying), Proses Penyetrikaan (Pressing), Pengepakan (parking/finishing), Pengantaran (Delivering).Kata Kunci: Penerapan Quality Control Di Laundry Hotel Basko Padang

Abstract

Protective cosmetics are cosmetics that can protect the skin by refusing and absorbing the sun.Efforts to prevent acne can be done to avoid triggering factors as well as prevent zits such as regular life, getting enough rest, avoiding stress, maintaining emotions, avoiding dust pollution, using adequate cosmetics, and avoiding the disruption of oil glands.This study aims to determine the effect of cosmetrickin use care on the emergence of Acne Vulgaris in Beauty Students in Vocational High School 6 and 7 Vocational High School Padang.This study is an analytical study with a cross sectional approach, where researchers measure variables simultaneously and the results obtained describe the conditions that occur when the study is carried out.This research was conducted in October 2018 at SMK Negeri 6 and SMK Negeri 7 Padang.The population in this study were students majoring in Beauty at Padang N 6 Vocational School and Padang N 7 Vocational School..Sampling using Slovin formula.Data analysis techniques are using Chi Square Test analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant influence between the use of cosmetic skin care in the form of cleanser(sig = 0.018), moisturizer (sig = 0.013), protector (sig = 0.008) and thinner(sig = 0.002) against the onset of student acne vulgaris

Abstract

This study is based on the behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall. This study aims to determine consumer behavior in consuming fast food. The type of research used is descriptive research. The population is teenage consumers who come to Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall restaurant is not known the exact number and taken samples through incidental sampling. Primary data in this study obtained directly from the respondents with the format of questionnaire. Analysis technique by determining the frequency distribution of data and determine the level of achievement of respondents. The results showed that the behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall is good. The behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall with sub indicators of good knowledge. The behavior of juvenile consumers in consuming fast food at Pizza Hut Basko Grand Mall with sub indicators of good attitude.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of thick eyebrow formation without shaving eyebrows by applying cream concealer and foundation cream to night makeup, to find out the best results and the panelists' favorite response. This research method is quasi-experimental method with a Non equivalent control group design. The population in the study were students of the Makeup and Beauty of the Padang State University University who had the shape of thick eyebrows and long face shapes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique and using t test analysis. The results of the analysis show that there are significant differences in the results of the resembling indicator of obtaining p>0.05 (P = 0.635), the highest average in the experimental group (X2) is 3.40, at the level of smoothness p<0.05 (p = 0.020), The highest average score in the experimental group (X2) is 3.60, at the level of fineness p<0.05 (p = 0.047), the highest average value is obtained by the experimental group (X2) is 3.47. the best comparison of results is to apply foundation cream (X2). The results show that the advantages of foundation cream are easier to use and are disguised in night makeup

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of tourist attraction in Agrowisata Balai Benih Induk (BBI) of Lubuk Minturun Padang, such as, there is no entertainment and recreation services at agro rides BBI, the least of the event activities in agrotourism meeting room BBI and the lack of souvenirs offered by agro tourism BBI Lubuk Minturun Padang. This research aims to determine the strategy of developing tourist attraction that has indicators in the form of tourist attractions, amenities and anchillary services are viewed from internal factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses and external factors in the form of opportunities and threats. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative data. Data collection technique is done by interview and observation that involves informant by using purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique. Development strategy of tourist attraction that can be done is in the form of: 1) Optimizing the function of land by developing tourism activities such as providing rides games and mini garden. 2) Develop MICE event in meeting and gazebo sessions such as holding workshops and agricultural exhibition. 3) Provide souvenirs by utilizing culture and network techniques.

Abstract

This type ofmresearch is descriptive research with quantitative data. The population of this study were individual and group guests staying at the Central Hospital. The sampling technique is non probability sampling, using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study ruled 65 people. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire (questionnaire) using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by quantitativepdescriptive. The result of this research is that this research has found about the guest needs about room facilities at the Hospital Center based on the data analysis above which is described by indicators. Based on the results of a study of 65 samples, the variable of room facilities needs can be categorized as very needed 74%. Then in the bedroom rankings can be categorized very needed 72%, indicators of linen items can be categorized very needed 75%, bathroom indicators can be categorized very needed 80%. Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini berawal dari permasalahan dalam pembelajaran kimia di kelas X.6 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya, dimana sebagian besar siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran kimia, sehingga hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa pun rendah. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran kimia digunakan Metode Discovery Terbimbing pada siswa kelas X.6 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas X.6 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya yang berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa lembar observasi, dokumentasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian dianalis dengan menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua kali siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari satu kali pertemuan.Hasil penelitian dari setiap siklus pembelajaran kimia yang telah dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Metode Discovery Terbimbing menunjukkan adanya peningkatan baik proses pembelajaran maupun hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pencapaian siswa dalam pembelajaran, dimana pada siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa baru mencapai ketuntasan 53% dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 68, sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata siswa 80 dan ketuntasan 81%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Metode Discovery Terbimbing berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran kimia di kelas X.6 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya.
