Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of room facilities on guest satisfaction staying at Hannah Hotel Syariah Painan. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a causal associative approach. The number of samples in this study were 82 samples. The sampling method is propotionate stratified random sampling. Data is collected by questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) room facilities are in the good category 54.88%, (2) guest satisfaction is in the excellent category 40.24%, (3) there is a guest satisfaction value increased by 16.843 units, there is a positive influence and significant between room facilities to guest satisfaction staying at Hannah Hotel Syariah Painan. The R square value obtained is 0.174, this means that room facilities variables have an effect of 17.4%.

Abstract

The background of this research, the low impact resulting from the activities of Industrial Work Practices (PRAKERIN) Students Programs Hospitality SMKN 6 Padang, This looks at the mistakes that occurred in the industry such as the student could not comply with the rules established in the hotel some hotels are return students back to school and there are also students who make a quiet Testament error made and supply activities preparation of students not prakerin according to what will be done in the industry, This type of research is qualitative descriptive method ata collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique that is data reduction, display data, conclusion and verification .The results of this study portray that (1) Planning a briefing given to the students is still less than the maximum. (2) The implementation of activities of Industrial Work Practices own good, but the implementation there are students who are lazy. (3) prakerin ratings given to tutor students are nice, but for the procedure of granting the student prakerin value assessment takes time to ask.Because to get that value students must complete the assigned activity journal from the beginning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of substitution of taro flour as much 25%, 50% and 75% on quality choux paste covers volume, shape, color, smell, texture and taste. The type of this research was pure experiments (true experiment) with completely randomized design method. Data tipe that is primary data sourced from 30 semi trained panelists by replying the organoleptic test format. Analyze data using ANAVA, if Fcount > Ftable then proceed with Duncan test. The results showed that there was a significant effect on quality volume, shape, color, smell, and taste, and there was no significant effect on quality texture. The best result based on organoleptic test found in X1 with substitution of taro flour as much 25%.

Abstract

The purpose of the research to knows comparison of slit eye correction results using two lashes with the addition of scotch tape and three lashes for bridal makeup. This research method uses quasi-experimental methods with Non equivalent control group design. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The analysis shows that there are differences in the level of neatness in the technique of using two lashes with scotch tape and the use of three lashes for bridal makeup (p=0,035). Where the highest average value was found using three Eyelashes (X2) which is equal to 2.47. There are no significant differences in eye impression indicators seen in the technique of using two lashes with scotch tape and the use of three lashes for bridal makeup (p=0,035). However, the highest average value was found using three Eyelashes (X2) which was equal to 2.67. There are significant differences in eye impression indicators on the technique of using two lashes with the addition of scotch tape and the use of three lashes for bridal makeup (p=0,010). Where the highest average value was found using three Eyelashes (X2) which is equal to 2.93. the best result bridal makeup is using three eyelashes technique for more perfect .

Abstract

This study attempts to assess conformity diploma attitude entrepreneurs on the establishment of the alumni fashion entrepreneurship of engineering faculty state university the ( TB FT UNP ) .This research use the model input assessment , processing and products (Cipp) by stufflebeam et al .1971 .The population in research is alumni diploma TB FT UNP about 218 people. All made the sample population. An analysis of data using descriptive statistics .error research instruments measured by the correlation items and referral experts , while index standard deviation value cronbach alpha that reflects the between 0.70 to 0.97 . May be trustworthy item is high and acceptable .The results of the curriculum , not appropriate to form attitude entrepreneurship score of min 3.33 and standard deviation 0.92 but based on the establishment of the thought entrepreneurship min 3.91 and standard deviation 0.91 . Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to find out how much the Price and Location Influence on Room Purchase Decisions atathe Grand Royal Denai Hotel Bukittinggi. In making purchasing decisions there are five stages that are considered by constumers before making a purchase decision, recognizing needs, seeking information, evaluating alternatives, purchasing decisions, and post-purchase behavior. And any factors that are considered by guests when making purchasing decisions. These factors are products, places, promotions, prices, people, processes, and physical evidance. Sample in this study amounted to 90 samples with of incidental sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study have significantly influenced the price of the decision to purchase rooms at the Grand Royal Denai Hotel Bukittinggi with a score of 51.2% while the rest (48.8%) is influenced by other factors. Abstract

Abstrak. Masalah kesehatan balita di Sumatera Barat, salah satunya stunting, perlu mendapat perhatian serius. Prevalensi balita stunting 27,7 %, merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang harus segera dicarikan jalan keluarnya. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan memanfaatkan bahan pangan lokal di daerah masing-masing, sebagai sumber zat gizi yang murah dan mudah di peroleh masyarakat setempat. Hal ini merupakan salah satu cara agar kekurangan gizi kronis yang dialami balita dapat diatasi.

Abstract

Lately, the coastal city of Padang has been improving and being promoted. One of the efforts that can advance tourism is through the introduction and development of national and international sports tourism such as marathons. Marathon is one of the popular sports, such as the New York City Marathon, Parias Marathon, Asia Tokyo Marathon, Tour De France, Bali sailboat competition. This research includes mapping the potential of international scale marathon tourism, how to analyze the potential of sports tourism and the obstacles in the development of sports tourism in the city of Padang. In this study, researchers observed coastal locations that have the potential to develop marathon tourism tourism by looking at the level of tourist development, information on potential locations obtained from informants / informants, these locations have been tested and used for marathon tourism. The internal potential of this marathon sports tour is "high potential" to be held with the quality of marathon tourist attractions and tracking conditions are very good. External potentials include accessibility; object support facilities; complementary facilities, and object development support, this is "high potential" for holding International-scale Marathon Tourism activities. Marathon tourism can be held with a variety of competition criteria by participating in the role of the surrounding community; provide packages offering attractive activities of all ages, clear supporting facilities information; widely introduce to the public a series of marathon tourism activities. The 10K track with diverse contours offers sports and tourism experiences; several narrow road spots so as not to be filled by vehicles or the activities of the local community; the track route is a public area, the number of alternative routes can be used for road transfers; the field committee is able to coordinate public vehicle traffic during the event. Alternative roads and parking areas to be managed by involving local communities so that activities run smoothly. The government helps manage community business activities; avoid illegal payments so as to provide comfort for tourists; parking area prepared to anticipate the emergence of wild parking; education and sanctions for people who do not maintain cleanliness and sanction if there is extortion. Promotion of tourism and sports activities to be further intensified through all media publications; provide opportunities for local EOs and professional EOs to collaborate in the learning process; promotion and clear and mutually beneficial cooperation relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interest of D4 hospitality management study program students in tourism and hospitality faculties of Padang State University to carry out industry experience in international chain hotel. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with survey methods. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique with 83 respondents used questionnaires on the Guttmann scale. Based on the research that has been done, the results are as follows: (1) feeling happy in the very high category (59,03%), (2) attraction is in the very high category (50,60%), (3) attention is in high category (42,16%) and involvement is in the very high category (44,57%).

Abstract

Abstract.This research was used to see the effect of the quality of receptionist services on customer loyalty at the Ibis Hotel Padang. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with causal associative methods. The results of this study obtained data from a sample of 99 respondents who were guests at the Ibis Hotel Padang through a questionnaire using a Likert scale, then obtained the results of a simple linear regression test obtained F of 15,061 with sig. 0.000 <0.05, the receptionist service quality variable has an influence on customer loyalty variables by 13.4% and 86.6% influenced by other factors. Then obtained coefficient value of 0.369, meaning that each increase of 1 unit of service quality of receptionist will increase 37 units of customer loyalty to guests at Ibis Hotel Padang.
