Abstract

The use of AI (artificial intelligence) has penetrated the hospitality sector, thereby requiring ethical guidelines. Research to explain ethical challenges in the hospitality sector. The research was carried out using the literature study method. The research results show that ethical challenges are fairness, reliability, security, privacy, security, inclusiveness, transparency and accountability. Ethics in non-technical fields such as employee reduction issues, employee dedication. The hotel industry needs to understand ethics in both technical and non-technical fields. Criteria for leaders needed in the AI era in the hospitality sector who have ACKEH (Agile, Communication, Knowledge, Ethics, Empathy, and Hospitality) skills. This research provides solutions to face AI ethical challenges and enriches literacy in the field.

Abstract

Nowadays, there are various communities in all parts of Indonesia. Likewise, Pontianak City, known as the Equator City, also has an ontel bicycle community. In the era of globalization with the offer of modern lifestyles, this community chooses the classic mode of transportation. The aim of the study is to analyze the emergence of the ontel cycling community, its conservation activities and the importance of ontel bicycles in this community. Data were collected through observation, interviews, document studies and analyzed qualitatively. The results found that the community is very active in participating in ontel bicycle culture preservation activities at the local, national and international levels as well as in other fields. Members of the community are diverse and have different views on the meaning of the bicycle as a symbol.

Abstract

The gradual disbursement of village funds has had a negative impact on a number of activities in Long Pada Village, but the management received can be allocated as a whole. This research method is descriptive qualitative with data coming from interviews, observation and documentation. The findings were that fund management in Long Village, Sungai Tubu District, Malinau Regency was 100% according to target. Its achievements can be said to be very effective. Based on the elements of allocation, integration and adaptation, it has been implemented well based on various implementation indicators. Supporting factors for implementation include active community participation, infrastructure, and cooperation between parties. The obstacles lie in human resources, natural conditions, and the gradual process of disbursing funds.

Abstract

Basically, one strategy in shaping the character of the nation's next generation is through instilling character values ​​in students at school, which can be implemented using the Pancasila Education textbook. This research aims to strengthen students' values ​​and ethics, so that they become individuals who are honest, empathetic and responsible, who in turn are expected to be pioneers of change that bring hope for a better future. This research methodology is a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. The results of the research show that the character values ​​contained in the Pancasila Education textbook are spread throughout the book's chapters, including (1) the introductory section which contains an invitation or exclamation, (2) the content of the material which includes students' activities in searching for information and reading discourse, as well as (3) a closing section which includes reflection, individual and group assessment.

Abstract

The rapid development of modernization has an impact on the erosion of the values ​​of the ritual of rejecting bala ghatib beghanyut as a Malay cultural tradition so that it needs to be preserved through deeper study and meaning. The aim of the research is to analyze the meaning and function of the ritual of rejecting bala ghatib beghanyut for the community in Kampung Dalam Village, Siak Regency. The research method uses descriptive qualitative with data collection through enotography and interviews. The research results show the symbolic meaning of the ghatib beghanyut ritual as an identity and tradition passed down from generations to ancestors as well as a means of implementing Islamic values ​​and avoiding danger. The function of the ghatib beghanyut banishment ritual tradition is as a religious function, social function, economic function, and as a medium for treatment in society.

Abstract

Modern era directs the younger generation of Dayak people in West Kalimantan towards cultural identity, especially gongs and mantras in meaning and function.. The purpose of this research is to identify the role of gongs and mantras as symbols of cultural communication. Through a qualitative method with the type of Roland Barthes semiotics, it is a way to reveal research on the role of gongs and mantras which is also accompanied by Susanne Knauth Langer's communication symbol theory. The gong as an accompaniment to the wood products and the mantra as a request imply a communication message between humans and God in the Nyobeng ritual of the Dayak Bidayuh community. The communication message implies the good side for the welfare of the Dayak community.

Abstract

Small and medium industrial (SMI) centers are one of the contributors to the national economy performance. Several programs carried out across stakeholders are directed at being able to strengthen SMI centers to become more competitive. Previous research has not described how social interaction patterns emerge in the context of collaboration or conflict in an industrial center. This research was conducted to explore more about patterns of entrepreneurial interaction that occurred in SMI centers in West Java and Central Java. This study uses a qualitative approach by taking informant samples of SMI centers that are typical in 10 regencies and cities. The results of this study are described through several main points of discussion: (1) center institutions and challenges within them, (2) micro partnerships between SMIs, and (3) conflict of interest between craftsmen within the centers.
