Abstract

Advances in science and technology have changed this world. One of the data technologies that function in the world of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is online education. Online education is used as a liaison between lecturers and students in an internet network that is accessed anytime. However, student learning outcomes in online and offline learning have not shown maximum results. Various obstacles arise that affect student learning outcomes online and offline during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to predict the level of student understanding in online and offline learning. So that it can also help Pelita Indonesia universities to take the right policies to improve the quality of learning in the future. To solve the various problems above, an expert system is needed to predict. In the expert system used is the forward chaining method. The forward chaining method is a method that performs forward tracking, starting from a collection of facts and ending at a conclusion. So that the accuracy value is obtained. With the results of the accuracy test, it determines the level of understanding between online and offline learning.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic indirectly accelerated the 4.0 Industrial Revolution where technology became an important point in the industrial movement. Changes that are forced quickly, sometimes release some application developers to test the product to be implemented, because it is required quickly to compensate for the change. Padang Institute of Technology (ITP) also made rapid changes to its official website, to provide actual information of campus activities during this pandemic. Conduct testing and analysis of the extent of itp website security and provide troubleshooting advice from the results of the analysis. Testing is done using the Acunetix Vulnerability Scanner tool against the ITP website. The method used is descriptive analysis, which is the data obtained presented in the form of sentences described, thus providing clarity from the results of the analysis carried out.The results obtained from this study are ITP websites with acunex threat at level 3 which includes High theory and scanning time used for 2 Hours 5 minutes. In this study there were 714 alerts or gaps found consisting of 94 at high level, 25 at medium level, 46 at low level and 549 at informational level. Here is an explanation of the alert or loopholes found in the scanning website. From the analysis data it was concluded that in testing using acunetix itp website is at level 3, after improvement of itp website is at level 1.

Abstract

The Mandeh Tourism Area is one of the most visited marine tourism destinations in West Sumatra. The Mandeh Tourism Area is also included in one of the tourism and creative economy development programs by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Baga Beach Cottage is one of the inns located in the Mandeh Tourism Area. Currently the inn consists of 5 cottages that can accommodate 30 guests. At certain times this inn cannot accommodate all the guests who want to stay, so it is recommended to go to another inn, this of course reduces the amount of income that should be obtained. Therefore, I want to predict the number of guests using the Monte Carlo method which is expected to be used to make it easier for business managers to make decisions. This study aims to predict the number of guests staying in the following year which is expected to be used to facilitate business managers in making decisions. The data processed is data on the number of guests staying from 2018 to 2020 using the Monte Carlo method. The results of data processing show that the level of prediction accuracy using the Monte Carlo method is 84%. The Monte Carlo method can be used to predict the number of guests staying at Baga Beach Cottage in the following year so that it can be used to facilitate business managers in making decisions.

Abstract

The hospital is one of the places visited to get treatment services, the hospital also provides treatment services in the form of physical examinations, supporting examinations and also pharmaceutical services to get drugs. Pharmacy services in hospitals are run by a unit or installation which is generally called the Pharmacy Installation. Pharmacy installations must ensure that the supply of drugs is optimally met, so that there is no buildup or shortage of drug stocks. Drug supply management is very crucial because the Pharmacy Installation plays an important role in supporting hospital revenues. Good planning must also be accompanied by proper management and monitoring (controlling) of drug stocks and periodic evaluations. Technology support and information systems will facilitate the management team in planning, managing and monitoring and evaluating drug supplies. In order for the hospital to provide good service to patients, it is necessary for the hospital to have a supply of the drugs needed within a certain period of time so that the patient's medical needs can be met. This study uses data on chronic drug use in RSI. Siti Rahma Padang taken from 2017 to 2019. The data processed in the study were 12 types of drugs. Based on the analysis of these data, there are 5 types of chronic disease. Furthermore, the data is processed using the Monte Carlo algorithm. The result of testing this method is to get predictions of chronic drug use with the right level of accuracy. From the test results obtained 5 types of drugs whose accuracy level is above 80% and 7 types of drugs whose accuracy level is below 80% so that they can help RSI.Siti Rahma in making decisions in the future.

Abstract

The 2010 Manila Amendment Standard of Training Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) regulation is to create and develop a system that can support the fitness of duty officers on duty. The officer's fitness is determined by the value of the heart rate at the start of watch duty. For that we need a system that can measure the heart rate quickly and precisely. This system must work effectively and accurately inform each officer's measurements. So this research was carried out with the aim of building an effective heart rate measurement. This system is supported by the Arduino Nano Microcontroller and an alarm system that provides information on the fitness of the officers. The method used is Research and Development which refers to ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The result of this research is a heart rate measuring product that works very effectively. The required input consists of a grove-ear clip heart rate sensor as a heart rate detector in the form of a pulse signal and a vibrating DC motor with a buzzer as an alarm that generates a shock for the user of the device. The indications for this tool are using Bradycardia, Normal and Tachycardia heart conditions. So that this research is very much needed in supporting the testing of the fitness of tasks in carrying out the machine guard service properly and guaranteed.

Abstract

Senior High Schools in the Pekanbaru area have utilized E-learning facilities during the Covid-19 pandemic. One type of E-learning used is Edmodo-based. Factors that hinder the implementation of Edmodo-based E-learning are that students do not understand the use of Edmodo-based E-learning, not all teachers use Edmodo-based E-learning in schools, and not all students are or live in places that have a good or stable network so that there is no research that leads or leads to aspects of the ease, benefits and acceptance of Edmodo-based E-learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the effect of usefulness or benefits and perceptions of ease of use on the acceptance of Edmodo-based E-learning at SMA N 12 Pekanbaru using the TAM method. There are three variables used in this study, namely Perception of Ease and Perception of Benefits on Perception of Acceptance of Use. The sample used was 76 respondents. From the results of the assessment and testing, it can be concluded that the three hypotheses proposed are accepted. The convenience variable affects Edmodo Elearning Acceptance, the Benefit variable affects Edmodo Elearning Acceptance and the convenience and benefits variables together affect Edmodo Elearning Acceptance. The more the ease and usability or the benefits of Edmodo E-learning, the more Edmodo's acceptance of E-learning will increase.

Abstract

The increase in the number of patient visits that often occur at community health centers / puskesmas has caused some activities in health services to be slightly hampered, disturbed and less than optimal, resulting in some patients not getting comprehensive services and some even waiting too long in queues. The purpose of this study was to provide information to the health center about the prediction of an increase in the number of patient visits that might occur in the future. The data used in this study were patient visit data at the IX Koto Sungai Lasi health center from 2019, 2020, and 2021 to extract the data that was obtained. The method used in this study was the Monte Carlo method. The results of the study can predict patient visit rates in the following years with an average accuracy rate of 91%, in 2020, and 85% in 2021, the results of these predictions can be a reference for the Puskesmas to take action and policies to improve quality of service at the Puskesmas.

Abstract

One alternative in making effective decisions is the Decision Support System (DSS). The selection of the best employees still has weaknesses in PT. Petromitra Pacific Internusa so that it will trigger conflicts between employees. In this study, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method was used to process employee data in all divisions to obtain accurate results. The SAW method is one of the methods that can assist in the decision-making process for selecting the best 100 employees by providing criteria and preference weights that can be determined according to applicable regulations such as 35% discipline criteria, 15% cooperation, 45% leadership, and honesty. 10%. This study aims to provide more accurate results and make it easier for the Personnel or HRD department to choose the best employees at PT. Petromitra Pacific Internusa. The results of this study are in the form of determining the selection of the best employees who are identified based on the results of the highest score. So that they will automatically become the best employees and will receive bonuses, as well as get a promotion.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has an impact on all lines of life, including the medical and health fields. The Ministry of Health has planned a digital transformation strategy in its blueprint planning document until 2024. One of the transformation strategies is about the health quality of clean water, because it is an important part in forming a healthy society. Sanitation health and clean water quality standards that have been set by the ministry of health in the process of being implemented by internal monitoring agencies, namely district/city health laboratories are generally still not digital-based. Health laboratories in general still carry out the registration service for the examination of clean water samples to the delivery of the results of labor examinations using paper records. It is prone to recording errors and is prone to loss. The process of digitizing the Clean Water Quality Inspection Information System was developed with a web-based application platform. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research which was developed using the Process Flowchart Methodology or waterfalls. The flow of steps carried out is to analyze and build a design system and produce a system that becomes a recommendation in the process of transforming Information Technology-based services in the health sector for public services. So that this research can be used as a reference in the development of a digital transformation system

Abstract

Water is needed by households or businesses. The amount of water used has an impact on the costs incurred. These costs are getting out of control if the use is not controlled. Users only know after the payment period is due. This cost can be controlled if the amount of water used can be controlled. Even though the water supply company already has a system with a usage meter, users still find it difficult to read the device and the amount of usage costs at that time. So this research was carried out with the aim of building a water use control system for Internet of Things (IoT) based water supply service customers. This system is connected to the user's mobile device via an internet connection so that it can control water use in real time. This system uses the ESP826 microcontroller device. The results of this study can monitor and control in real time the use of water properly. So that this system becomes a reference in reducing the cost of water usage which is controlled in real time
