Abstract

This research aims to 1) get the best effect of organic kascing fertilizer on growth and production of tomato plants. 2) Getting the best concentration of Lestari Green liquid organic fertilizer on growth and production of tomato plants. 3) Obtain a combination of organic kascing fertilizer dosage and concentration of liquid organic fertilizer Lestari Green on growth and production of tomato plants. This research was conducted from January to April 2017 in Sudiang  Biringkanaya district., Makassar City, South Sulawesi, design with a  two factor randomized block design was observed, the dose of kascing fertilizer consisted of 4 levels: control  0  , 5 tons / ha, 7.5 tons / ha and 10 tons. The liquid organic fertilizer factor consists of 4 levels: Control, 5cc / L water, 10 cc / L water, 15 cc / L water. The results showed that 1) The use of  Kascing organic fertilizer with a dose of 10 tons / ha gives the best effect of average height of plants that is 46.04 cm, the fastest flowering age of 31.14 days, productive branches as much as 2.30, the number of fruit tebanyak is 28.28 plant, 1.69 kg of plantation, and fruit / hectare production of 11.11 ton / hectare, 2) The use of Lestari Green liquid organic fertilizer with concentration of 15 cc / L water gives the best influence on the average of good plant height that is 43.01 cm, the fastest flowering age of 31.69 day, productive branch as much as 2.23, fruit weight as much as 1.65 kg of crop, weight of fruit per plot of 6.03 kg and fruit / hectare production of 41.86 tons / hectare, 3) Combination of organic fertilizer treatment of kascing and liquid organic fertilizer Lestari Green which can improve growth and increase the production of tomato plants is the treatment of organic fertilizer kascing 10 tons / hectare and concentration p liquid organic fertilizer Lestari Green 15 cc / L water on parameter Number of leaves and number of fruit.

Abstract

The development of agriculture in regional autonomy faces various challenges, both internal and external factors of the region, such as the issue of social inequality and globalization issues. This social and globalization issue demands each region to be able to compete at home and abroad. The gap and globalization has implications for provinces and districts to develop the region and its flagship product. The development of agriculture is one of the sectors that should be the main priority in the development of agribusiness-oriented areas, high productivity, efficient, sustainable, and sustainable. The success of agricultural development determined by the environment in which agricultural commodities are grown, such as food crops, horticulture, plantations, and livestock. This study aims to: (1) know the use of land that can support productivity in Kecamatan Tinggimoncong, and (2) analyze the sector that developed into the leading sector in agricultural development in Kecamatan Tinggimoncong. Based on the use of lahandi Kecamatan Tinggimoncong consist of settlement area, secondary forest, dry land, paddy field, shrubs and open land. The analysis results of Commodity Excellence Revealed (KKT) there are fourteen superior commodities: rice, sweet potato, leek, potato, cabbage, cabbage, tomato, robusta coffee, arabica coffee, cloves, hazelnut, pepper, and vanilla.

Abstract

The community's need for land is very basic and continues to increase. With the expanding population and socio-economic activity, the uses of land is not only for a place to live, but rather to strive in order to survive, especially for rural communities. The National Park is an area that has specific characteristics, that have been defined for the function as a buffer system to protection of life by maintaining the existence of the original ecosystem in the expanse ecoregions. Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park (TNBabul) with all the potentials and characteristics running these function by fixed pay attention and accommodate the needs of the local community especially in terms of land use and utilization. The various conflicts that occur as a result of government policies on land today need to be taken seriously by all parties. To carry out the management and land use with the protection functions, required comprehensive management regulatory mechanism involving all stakeholders. This study aims to identify, analyze and formulate a pattern management and land use on the TNBabul ecosystem sustainability and community survival. Land utilization and management by the community at TNBabul is done adaptively, one of them is non-timber forest products (HHBK) harvesting as an socio-economic effort in order to survive.

Abstract

Analysis Of Chupon Grafting Grand Aid On The Bahavior Of Cocoa Farmers in Pinrang Regency. The research was conducted in June2017 - August 2017 on Duampanua District Pinrang Regency.The purpose of this study was to describe and identify the implementation of chupon grafting aid program in Pinrang Regency, to analyze the level of knowledge and skill of farmers on the assistance of chupon grafting aid program of cocoa sedling, and the participation of the cocoa farmers in the farmer group in Pinrang Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with interview technique to explore information about chupon grafting cacao seedlings, and survey approach to describe the aid pattern, and include several stages of data collection and field observation, data analysis and data processing. The results showed that with the help of chupon grafting affect the behavior of farmers in the form of increased knowledge, skills and participation in farmer groups. Assistance given has been in accordance with the flow of mechanisms that have been in accordance with the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 30 of 2012 and South Sulawesi Governor Regulation No. 55 of 2012.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the response of various genotypes of early maturity at various plant spacing. The study was conducted from May to July 2017.The study was designed following a split-plot design pattern.As the main plot is the genotype of maize consisting of four genotypes G1, G2, G3, and G4.As a subplot is a spacing arrangement consisting of three levelnamely: sapacing of 70 cm x 20 cm (J1), spacing of 60 cm x 20 cm (J2) and spacing of 50 cm x 20 cm (J3).The results showed that the growth and production of maize was affected by the genotype and spacing used. The maize genotypes G3 and G4 resulted in higher plants with a closer spacing (60 x 20 cm and 50 x 20 cm) than with wider plant spacing (70 x 20 cm). In planting distance treatment showed that plant spacing of 60 x 20 cm and 50 x 20 obtained significantly higher production that is between 8.95 to 9.35 t / ha compared with the spacing of 70 x 20 cm which produces only 7.64 t /Ha.

Abstract

Red Chilli  pepper is one kind of plant that has high economic value, because it is necessary not only for household needs, but also a need for the industry. This research was conducted at the location of Farmers Kelompok Tani Sumber Rezeki, Toddopulia Village, District Tanralili, Maros, which lasted from March to July 2016. The study aims to analyze the effect of pruning on the growth and yield of different varieties of chilli red. This study was designed by Split Plot Design. In the main plot pruning consists of two levels ie without trimming and pruning wild Shoots, as a subplot that varieties of three types: Princes variety, variety Kastilo F1 variety, and Monser F1 variety. The results showed that pruning does not affect the component plant height and the number of productive branches, but a good effect on crop production with a number of fruit crops gained 135.68 fruit, fruit weight per plant was obtained 635.10 g of fruit weight per plot was obtained 10, 85 kg. Weight of fruit per hectare high of 30.15 tons obtained in the interaction between pruning and varietys Princes.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of: 1) To observe growth and production of maize genotypes hybrid candidate early age, 2) Determine optimal spacing that will result in maximal production of genotype hybrid candidate early maturing and 3) To know interaction between maize genotypes hybrid candidate of early maturing and plant spacing. Research was conducted on dry land located in Bajeng, Gowa, South Sulawesi. Research was conducted from April to July 2017 using Split Plot Design method. As the main plot is the maize genotype consisting of 3 genotypes: ST201328, ST201359, ST201312 and varieties comparison Bima 7 while for sub plot is treatment the various spacing between two levels are: 60 cm x 20 cm and 50 cm x 20 cm. Treatment combination was repeated three times as a block to obtain 24 experimental units. The results of this research show that: 1) Maize genotype ST201328 is maize early maturing hibrid has appearance shortest plant, fastest flowering male age as well flowering female, smallest Anthesis Silking Interval (ASI), fastest harvest age and longer cob. Genotype ST201312 has appearance highest plant, greatest Anthesis Silking Interval, greatest Leaf Area Index and longest cob. 2) Plant spacing 50 cm x 20 cm obtained high Leaf Area Index and highest location cob. Average highest production dry seeds on plant spacing 50 cm x  20 cm for all maize genotypes tested. 3) Interaction that happaned between maize genotype ST201312`on plant spacing 60 cm x 20 cm obtained longest cob is 18,07 cm and differs markedly with varieties comparison Bima 7. Maize genotype ST201312 on plant spacing 50 cm x 20 cm obtained yield dry cheeks is amount 10,58 ton ha–1.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of: 1) To identify the pattern (mapping) of prone landslide in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, 2) To compile the analyze of prone landslide classification in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, 3) To plan a strategy which can be applied for minimalizing the prone landslide in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. Research was conducted on two regencies located in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park, Pangkep and Maros. Research was conducted from April to July 2017 using the secondary data which proccees by SIG and count by Storie’s Index method. As the factors are rainy drops, soil type, slope area, geology type, vegetation/land cover and human. The advanced analyze considering the zonation of Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park. The results of analyzing, are 1) The research’s area in Maros contains prone and very prone wider than in Pangkep, 2) the soil type, geology type and slope area find in very prone landslide’s area, 3) The traditional zone which contains prone class and very prone class is in Mallawa, 4) Similarly condition for special zone which contains prone class and very prone class is in Mallawa. The strategy can be applied according to analyzing by Storie Index, are 1) planting and rehabilitation in open area, 2) the using of farm area in slope and steep area, applied by terraces model, 3)making socialization for the community in Prone Area and Very Prone Area, early anticipating landslide case
