Abstract

Menopause is a process of transition from the productive period to the nonproductive period due to the reduction in the hormones estrogen and progesterone. The average age of most women going through menopause is between the ages of 45 and 55. Some women consider menopause to be a frightening thing, this worry comes from the thought that they will become unhealthy so that they feel anxious. In Indonesia, by 2025 it is estimated that there will be 60 million menopausal women. Readiness to face menopause is a condition for mothers to prepare themselves for menopause both physically, mentally and psychologically. The purpose of this study was to determine the readiness of women aged 45-55 years in facing menopause changes in Kuripan Yosorejo Village. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional study design and using the chi square statistical test. The results obtained p value 0.01 <α (0.05), which means that there is a relationship between knowledge of menopause and readiness to face changes in menopause. With this research, it is hoped that menopausal mothers can increase their knowledge about reproductive health, especially about menopause by reading many books about menopause or through other information media so that it can increase understanding of how to deal with menopause and reduce complaints before menopause, especially for menopausal mothers at a level lack of knowledge.

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) can be a measuring tool to determine the quality of health services both during pregnancy and postpartum. Pregnant women with preeclampsia can cause complications that lead to increased maternal mortality and perinatal mortality. There are several attempts to control high blood pressure. This method can use pharmacological or non pharmacological. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of warm water foot soak therapy on changes in blood pressure reduction of preeclamptic pregnant women. This type of research is a quantitative study with aresearch quasi-experimentaldesign, with adesign approach pre and post test in the intervention group and the conMtrol group. The sample for each group is 10 people, so that the total number of samples is 20 respondents.Bivariate analysis was performed using the Wilxocon test because the data distribution was not normal and the Mann-Whitney Test to determine the difference before and after the intervention was given. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was an effect of giving warm water foot soaking therapy to changes in the decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure of preeclamptic pregnant women with a value of p = 0.004 and p = 0.011 and there were differences in changes in the decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure between the intervention group and the control group. p = 0.001 and p = 0.007.

Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia is around 90% at the time of delivery. in Indonesia until 2018 the Maternal Mortality Rate is still high at 305 per 1000 live births[1]. This is caused by postpartum bleeding due to several factors such as uterine atony and perineal rupture. The research objective was to determine the relationship between birth weight of infants and perineal rupture in Primipara at Japara Public Health Center, Kuningan Regency in 2019. The research method was analytic with a cross sectional approach, sampling with a total sampling technique with a total of 52 mothers giving birth. The instrument used was a checklist sheet and the analysis used Spearman Rank. Based on the results of the univariate analysis study, most mothers gave birth to babies with normal birth weight, namely around 59.6%, while most of the mothers experienced perineal rupture, namely around 51.9%. The results of the bivariate analysis showed a value (p = 0.09), this indicated that there was a significant relationship between birth weight of infants and perineal rupture in mothers who gave birth. It was concluded that there was a significant relationship between birth weight of infants and perineal rupture in mothers who gave birth. It is hoped that midwives will always carry out labor management in accordance with the standards of normal delivery care when giving birth and teach pregnant women how to massage the perineum.

Abstract

The period of infancy and toddler is an important period in the growth and development of children. It is very important for parents to know the child’s developments as a basis for knowing further developments. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of maternal knowledge on the interpretation of the results of KPSP children aged 0-24 months at BPM Sagita Darma Sari Palembang. The design of this research is quantitative descriptive with cross sectional approach with a sample of 88 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data collection by questionnaire and processed by Spearman rank test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge and KPSP interpretation of children aged 0-24 months whose p value = 0,000 is smaller than a 0.05 (p va). Researchers recommend that health workers, especially at BPM Sagita Darma Sari Palembang to further enhance the early detection of child growth and development, so that if there is a delay in the development of children can take precautionary steps earlier.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic gave birth to a new civilization era where people were asked to adapt to this pandemic condition. This also applies to maternal and child health services, especially antenatal care. The highest cause of death in Indonesia in 2019 is due to bleeding, which can be influenced by low hemoglobin levels or what is commonly known as anemia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between first trimester visits and anemia screening in pregnant women. The research method used was cross sectional, using google form media to fill out questionnaires and screen shots of the MCH book. The statistical test in this study used Pearson. The results showed that there was no relationship between the first trimester visit and anemia screening, which was obtained by the Pearson statistical test value sig = 0.189> 0.05, which means that there was no relationship between the first trimester visit and the examination of hemoglobin levels in pregnant women. The conclusion that can be drawn is that even though we are now entering a new civilization era where there are several regions that implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions and which in Maternal and Child Health services, especially pregnancy examinations, can still be implemented, government policies in the new civilization era during the 1st trimester visit are focused on screening of maternal health conditions for complications in pregnancy, and especially regarding referrals if there are complications in her pregnancy and management of pregnant women with Covid-19, so that this can prevent transmission of Covid-19.
