Abstract

The Indonesian syllabus is explicitly focused on all four language skills integrally. However. In fact in the process of teaching and learning the Indonesian language is still focused on developing reading, writing and speaking skills. Listening skills are rarely implemented by teachers in learning activities. Listening skills are never programmed. If listening skills were taught, this was just a coincidence. Though listening skills are essential for the overall development and learning of Indonesian.

Abstract

Curriculum is the core of education which is simply a curriculum that can be interpreted as something that is taught while learning is a tool to teach material. While the meaning of learning is more an effort to implement the strategy method of how the teaching takes place so that students can understand learning and then the approach between those who teach and those taught so that the knowledge taught or the material taught can be conveyed properly. Learning is also an implementation of the curriculum both in the classroom and outside hard and so on. Not only to the extent that the curriculum must also have good components so that the goals of education can be achieved so that various components are achieved. The curriculum is also seen as a subsystem of education both in general and specifically that reveals the hierarchy and interrelationships of various components that contain the objectives of education, the content of education, how educational methods are taught and finally how to evaluate when learning can be carried out with whether or not implemented with the established curriculum guidelines. This paper uses a method in the form of a theoretical study of the components of curriculum development. The theories put forward in this paper are theories about the curriculum and its developers, plus theories about curriculum development approaches, learning and evaluation of curriculum development.

Abstract

Character education is needed as an effort to improve the morale of students to become individuals who have noble character, moral, tolerant, tough, and good behavior. The role of family, school, and community in providing education greatly affects the character of students. Therefore, we need a character-based learning activity that can civilize students for good character. The school literacy movement (GLS) is a form of character building program that is able to improve students' reading and writing abilities, as well as quality and quality education. The purpose of this study is to determine the forms of school literacy movement activities. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative approach whose data is obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the forms of school literacy movement activities in an effort to improve character-based learning include 3 stages, namely the habituation of literacy activities, the development of reading interest, and the implementation of literacy-based learning.

Abstract

The purposes of research are to: (1) know and analyze multiculturalism values developed by the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdlatul Ulama (MINU), (2) know and analyze the application of multicultural education management in MINU, (3) know and analyze the impact of applying multicultural education management towards the development of MINU. This type of research is qualitative field research. The approach used in this research is the phenomenology approach. which aims to describe the state or phenomenon that occurs. The data collection techniques are (1) in-depth interviews, (2) Observation, and (3) Documentation. The Data Analysis Techniques used are interactive model analysis which consists of three activities, namely; (1) Data reduction (data selection according to a theme); (2) Data display (data presentation); and (3) Conclusion or verification. The results showed that the management of multicultural education management in the area went well with the main learning model based on moving culture class learning / visiting culture.

Abstract

Javanese language learning in schools starting at the Elementary School, Junior High School, and Senior High School / District School level is an equal local content that must be given, as an effort to form the character of students. Therefore in the National Education System Law No. 20 of 2003 article 3 which states that in fact in the world of National Education the function is to develop capabilities and shape the character and civilization of the nation in order to educate the life of the nation, and have a goal0 for students or society to have a behavior that is in accordance with Indonesian civilization and the development of the potential of students to become people of faith and piety always to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, independent creative so that they can become democratic and responsible citizens. Therefore, the same is true if the East Java Governor's Regulation concerning the implementation of learning Javanese as a compulsory local content in East Java Province. Language which is a tool for communicating according to laws and regulations should be like the school intansi must implement learning0 Javanese. Javanese0 Javanese0 Javanese functioning0communicative and0 rolein0 as a means of introducing noble values, and politeness of courtesy by recognizing boundaries of Java.0 and languages ​​of Java functioning as communicative languages ​​and Javanese language (Javanese language). ngoko (rough), which furthermore the karma and ngoko records are divided into: 01) Javanese language karma innocent karma alus, 02) Javanese language ngoko innocent ngoko alus. In the era of globalization the existence of the use of Javanese language is now increasingly fading, not only in daily interactions, but also adding to educational institutions, one of which is in junior high school. The application of the Javanese language in the form of education intensity especially in middle school can certainly add and illustrate the values ​​of the politeness of students to those who communicate with students. One day implementation in one week using Javanese karma and the use of simple media such as posters and bells as a tool for alternating hours whose content uses Javanese language is expected to be one of the effective ways to shape characters in junior high school students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine Outdoor Study as an active learning mediation influencing students’ critical thinking. This research was conducted at SDN Slampangerejo Jabung. This research method is quantitative with analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data collection was collected a test technique using LKS, observation and documentation. The results showed that Outdoor Study as an active learning medium influences students' critical thinking. The outdoor study model used is Problem Based Learning (PBL). Through the application of this learning shows the ability to think with several indicators, namely 1) identifying; 2) analytical skills; 3) problem solving skills; 4) conclusion skills; 5) judging skills and 6) evaluating skills.

Abstract

The condition of the country that is being hit by the COVID-19, requires the Government to set several policies, one of which is learning at home so that all activities related to the Learning Process are carried out from home. Likewise, activities related to enhancing teacher competence and professionalism are also followed from home, such as Massive and Open Online Education and Training. It is organized by the Center for the Development and Empowerment of Teachers and Natural Science Education Personnel of the Ministry of Education and Culture is an online education and training for teachers of science subjects at the elementary school, junior high school, senior high school and vocational school levels. Massive and Open Online Education and Training is an innovation in implementing education and training with an online model for science subject teachers who want to improve their professionalism. This training encourages teachers to continue to improve their competence, professionalism and innovate in accordance with the demands of current advances in science and technology. it provides opportunities for science teachers to advance and exploit the new abilities they are learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implications of speech in the COVID-19 pandemic memes studied in the community, the research method used was a descriptive qualitative method by taking the research subject in the form of COVID-19 pandemic memes seen on the internet, the results of the study were descriptions of the analysis of the implications of speech in a COVID-19 pandemic meme.
