Abstract

Questioning about religious education in literature related to divinity and religiosity. Religiosity includes belief in God, belief in supernatural powers over humans, and belief in animism and dynamism. One of the media for religious education is through literary works. The author and / or poet with the sensitivity possessed captures religious symbols and the value of faith which then transforms them into a series of words into verses of poetry. The content of beauty and the meaning in literary works reflects the religiosity experience of the author and / or the poet. Regarding faith education in literature, the focus of the problem is how transformative religiosity in Gurit Bandha Donya and how the anthropodidactic value in Gurit Bandha Donya. To answer the problem, it is done through descriptive analysis and content analysis

Abstract

Mop  adalah  wacana  lelucon  yang  lazim  disampaikan  dalam  bahasa  Melayu Papua.  Isinya mengandung asosiasi makna  tertentu yang menimbulkan kelucuan serta  mengundang  tawa  pendengarnya.  Mop  pada  umumnya  disajikan  dalam bentuk verbal dengan memanfaatkan kata, kalimat, dan wacana. Penuturan Mop mencerminkan bentuk praktik penggunaan bahasa secara nyata di masyarakat dan menjadi  media  interaksi  sosial  yang  mampu  menyatukan  beragam  masyarakat yang berdomisili di Papua. Kajian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pemanfaatan wacana Mop  dalam  proses  penanaman  konsep  kemahiran  berbahasa  Indonesia  melalui pendekatan pragmatis. Datanya berupa wacana Mop bahasa Melayu Papua  yang diperoleh dari  Buku Kumpulan Mop dan  Harian Cenderawasih Pos. Hasil kajian menunjukkan  bahwa  wacana  Mop  bahasa  Melayu  Papua  dapat  dimanfaatkan sebagai  ilustrasi kontekstual dalam  upaya pemahaman konsep bahasa  Indonesia. Beberapa wacana Mop berkaitan erat dengan konsep diksi, kalimat, pepatah, dan gaya bahasa dalam bahasa  Indonesia.   Karena bersifat kontekstual, wacana Mop dianggap mampu mengarahkan pemahaman peserta didik  tentang konsep bahasa Indonesia secara efektif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Intensitas atau penekanan ujaran  sering digunakan manusia dalam tindak komunikasi, tetapi hal itu sering tidak disadari. Intensitas biasa digunakan untuk lebih menarik perhatian lawan tutur. Penutur menggunakan intensitas dengan harapan lawan tutur dapat lebih memahami maksud dari yang disampaikan.  Oleh karena itu, penggunaan intensitas dalam sebuah tindak komunikasi pun tidak akan lepas dari konteks emotif yang melatarbelakangi terjadinya tindak komunikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui (1) bagaimana fungsi konteks emotif intensitas sebagai strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan dalam bahasa Jepang, dan (2) bagaimana kaitan penggunaan intensitas terhadap tujuan strategi komunikasinya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, karena penganalisisan dilakukan secara pendeskripsian dari temuan data-data. Sumber data penelitian ini diambil dari drama Jepang Great Teacher Onizuka Remake karyaImai Kazuhisa, karena ditemukan banyak data mengenai penggunaan intensitas yang dianggap dapat mewakili cara tindak komunikasi masyarakat Jepang. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari menyimak drama, dan mentranskripsikan dialog-dialog yang menggunakan intensitas, kemudian proses analisis dan membuat simpulan. Hasil penelitian  adalah (1) penggunaan intensitas dalam tindak komunikasi bergantung dengan konteks emotif yang berlaku. Dalam penggunaan intensitas ditemukan seluruh konteks emotif yaitu, konteks kejutan, konteks takut, konteks marah, konteks sedih, konteks keinginan, konteks kebahagiaan, konteks kebosanan. Dari seluruh konteks emotif yang ada, penggunaan intensitas paling banyak muncul pada konteks kejutan, (2) penggunaan intensitas sangat berpengaruh dalam tujuan komunikasi yang diharapkan yaitu untuk memberitahu, memotivasi, mendidik, menyebarkan informasi, mendukung perbuatan keputusan. Dengan menggunakan intensitas lawan tutur berhasil mendapatkan apa yang diharapkan dari tindak komunikasi tersebut.

Abstract

Islamophobic and Antisemitism have nowadays become trending topics in Germany. The rise of muslims population in Germany during migration crisis that cause pro and contra in the society can be the main cause of the Islamophobic in the country lead by Angela Merkel. In the other side there is another phenomenon called antisemtism that historically has occurred since the Nazi?s era. Currently this phenomenon suddenly rise up during migration crisis and it has been strongly discussed after the controversy created by duo rappers Kollegah (Felix Blume) and Farid Bang (Farid El Abdellaoui) who took home the prize for their anti-semitism songs in album Jung, Brutal, Gutaussehend 3. Pro and contra appears and it becomes trending topic in German online newspaper beside the islamophobia that?s still debatable. Even though these two phenomenon has a similiarity, namely ?anxiety feeling or extreme fear of something?, there is different strategies used by the Press in Germany. Crictical analysis is needed to reveal specific strategies applied and the impact of the kind of strategies on the representation of Muslims and Jews in Germany. Based on critical discourse studies, it can be concluded that the German online newspaper define Islam as out group who create islamophobic. But, Jews are represented differently as a victim of anti-Semitism.

Abstract

Cross language influence in third language (L3) acquisition is related to the first (L1) and second language (L2) acquisition. Cross-language influence in third language acquisition studies can be analyzed from the first and second language role in the third language acquisition. Each acquisition Indonesian language as L3 is always English as L2 so that the role of English in acquiring Indonesian as B3 be worth studying. It is a qualitative approach based research. This study focuses on (1) the role of English of articulation and (2) the role of English as the provider acquiring vocabulary in Indonesian as L3. Data used in this research is the conversation conducted by the researcher and research subject; and sentence production based on picture by the research subject. Data analysis result finds 1) the role of English as an addition to the mastery of the sound that is not owned B1 of pemeroleh Indonesian as L3 and English influence language sounds in pronunciation Indonesian, and 2) The role of English as a provider of vocabulary in language acquisition Indonesia as B3 is as a language bridge in language acquisition Indonesia if the Indonesian pemeroleh not master words in Indonesian.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe a essay of Unesa Student 2013 class, relating to the structure of  text and error analysis of Japanese language. These two viewpoints are considered important to see the student essay, with the reason that both of viewpoints relevant to the purpose of learning Japanese language 'sakubun' that is capable to communicate a case, circumstances, events, and opinions on to written language communication in good and right. The object  were taking from student essay results of Prodi Japanese Language and Education with total 22 students. The obtained data will be analyzed using interpretive methods to student essay of Unesa student 2013class, to describe the characteristics construction of essay text relating to the use of conjunctions and classification as well as text categorization based on the sentence or main paragraph placement.

Abstract

Penerjemahan merupakan salah satu bentuk pembelajaran bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses penerjemahan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa pembelajar bahasa Jepang Prodi Sastra Jepang Untag Surabaya terhadap materi promosi pariwisata kota Surabaya. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran bentuk orientasi proses penerjemahan dan menganalisis kesalahan penerjemahan yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan teknik catat serta analisis dokumen digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menemukan dua hal, yakni orientasi yang digunakan saat proses penerjemahan dan analisis kesalahan dalam materi penerjemahan dan hasil penerjemahan pada bahasa target. Proses penerjemahan dilakukan dalam dua orientasi, yakni orientasi kepada bahasa sumber dan bahasa target. Hal ini dilakukan karena mahasiswa masih menemukan kesulitan memahami materi penerjemahan dalam bahasa sumber, meskipun bahasa tersebut telah dikuasai oleh mahasiswa sebagai warga negara Indonesia, sehingga diperlukan perbaikan tatabahasa dan sintaksis dalam materi penerjemahan. Analisis kesalahan pada hasil penerjemahan dalam bahasa Jepang, banyak ditemukan mahasiswa masih menggunakan metode penerjemahan literal (harfiah), penerjemahan kata demi kata, dan penerjemahan setia. Kesalahan pemilihan kata (morfologi), penggunaan tata bahasa (sintaksis), dan pemaknaan secara kontekstual (semantik) masih banyak ditemukan.

Abstract

This research aims to study psychoanalysis main character in the short story collection Lu Xun entitled (L? Xun Xi?oshu? Quánjí ?? ?? ??) Works of Lu Xun which include (1) concerns the main character (realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety, and moral anxiety), (2) the cause the main character of anxiety (realistic anxiety, neurotic anxiety and moral anxiety), (3) the main character's ego defense mechanisms (repression, sublimation, projection, transfer, rationalization, regression, identification, denial of reality, intellectualization, redemption. Datas of this study focuses on anxiety and ego defense mechanism in the collection of short stories (L? Xun Xi?oshu? Quánjí ?? ?? ??) Works of Lu Xun. The researcher uses descriptive analysis techniques. Descriptive analysis techniques are done by describing the facts which are then followed by analysis. The total of 153 data was collected data; anxiety realistic citations, 34; neurotic anxiety; 56, anxiety morals; 5, repression; 31, intellectualization; 4, denial of reality; 2, identifying; 6, redemption; 1, reaction formation; 5, the projection; 2, and rationalization ,7 respectively. In consideration of the research result, (1) neurotic anxiety dominates so the purpose (2) also dominated, for the purpose of (3) ego defense mechanism of repression dominate.

Abstract

Cyber literature is literature that covers various genres of work submitted through the  electronic  media.  Ideology  contains  in  the  literature  cyber  is  postmodern ideology. Postmodern  is difficult to be  identified specifically, but the postmodern has  common  traits  that  always  builds  sorting  binary  opposition.  In  the  current literary  research,  literary  cyberspace  is  not  a  study,  but  rather  a  ?study  area?. Cyber  is  the study of  literature, not as a ?perspective?. As study materials, cyber literary  phenomenon  presents  a  unique,  creative,and  challanges  a  literary researcher. Therefore, the  field  is classified as current work, should use  the  latest research model, which is more significant if it is utilized.

Abstract

This research aims to answer the problems concerning the reading text material in English Textbook for Eleventh Grader published by Ministry of Education and Culture based on theory of good reading text (Nuttall, 2005). From three criteria proposed, this research focuses on the readability and suitability of reading text. There are two quantitative methods used in assessing readability, they are Miyazaki EFL Readability Formula and McAlpine® EFLAW Formula. In terms of assessing text suitability, the qualitative method is used by checking the target language covered by the reading text as the indicator of text suitability. Based on text readability, it is found out that overall reading texts Miyazaki EFL Readability score is 54.38 that can be interpreted as the reading text is in the level of fairly difficult and suitable to eleventh grader. While using McAlpine® EFLAW Formula, the readability score achieves 18.89, meaning that the reading text in English textbook of eleventh grader is easy to understand. In terms of suitability, it shows that, from 22 items of target language that is expected to be covered by the text, there are only 12 items which contain the target language which means text suitability is about 54.54% from overall text.
