Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pemanfaatan biblioterapi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VII-D mengenai labelling negatif di SMP. Indikator pemahaman labelling negatif meliputi pengertian dan jenis labelling, pemberian cap negatif yang umum di masyarakat, dan labelling negatif yang menghancurkan pertemanan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one group pre-test post-test design. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah angket labelling untuk memperoleh data tingkat pemahaman labelling negatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 siswa dari kelas VII-D yang memiliki skor rendah dalam pemahaman labelling negatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistic non-parametrik analisis uji Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai ? = 0.018 lebih kecil dari ? = 0.05, berdasarkan hasil ini maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hipotesis penelitian ini yang berbunyi ?biblioterapi dapat meningkatkan pemahaman labelling negatif pada siswa kelas VII-D di SMP? dapat diterima, sehingga adapat disimpulkan bahwa biblioterapi efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman labelling negatif pada siswa kelas VII-D di SMP.

Abstract

Low self-concept would interfere with the potential development of learners. Low self-concept can be expected to come from the lack of services for learners. individual counseling services program with the old patterns need to be changed using the model of individual counseling through cyber Counseling. The purpose of this study is to determine the service life of individuals through cyber counseling Counseling, Establishment of the concept of self-pesrta students through cyber Counseling and determine the effect of individual counseling through cyber Conseling towards the formation of self-concept. This type of research is descriptive correlational with non Experimental quantitative approach with product moment correlation analysis. Based on the analysis above, the value of r xy = 0.988. The results are then consulted with r table with the number of respondents N = 30 significant level of 5% turned out to be the value of r xy is bigger than r table is 0.988> 0.361. Individual counseling Counseling Against Cyber Formation Through Self Concept Students in Class XI SMAN 1 Ketanggungan Brebes "are accepted.

Abstract

 Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki kebudayaan yang sangat beragam. Indonesia dinilai sebagai negara yang menjunjung tinggi toleransi . Namun, intoleransi masih sangat memprihatinkan di Tanah Air.  Permasalah intoleransi ini merupakan tanggung jawab bersama, termasuk oleh konselor di sekolah. Konselor sebagai role model mempunyai peran penting untuk menyikapi intoleransi budaya. Kompetensi multikultural harus menyatu dengan pribadi konselor, menjadi karakteristik yang ditampilkan dalam berperilaku sehari-hari. Aspek utama yang perlu diperhatikan konselor dalam menampilkan pribadi berbudaya di kehidupan sehari-hari antara lain : (1) Pandangan hidup sesuai budaya Indonesia, (2) Pemahaman mengenai karakteristik budaya suku bangsa, (3) Pengetahuan luas mengenai keragaman budaya bangsa, (4) Kesadaran akan nilai-nilai budaya timur, (5) Kepekaan menganalisis isu-isu budaya yang tengah berkembang di masyarakat, serta (6) Keyakinan dan Sikap dalam menghadapi intoleransi budaya, (7) Kemampuan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi. Melalui perannya sebagai role model yang berkualitas seperti ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran siswa dalam menanggapi keragaman budaya secara positif.  Kata kunci : Intoleransi Budaya, Kualitas Pribadi Konselor,  Multikultural.

Abstract

Scientific publications in this case are compiling research actions on guidance and counseling and publishing the results of research into journals. The problem in this study is that the guidance and counseling teachers at Pekalongan District Secondary School experienced a decline in performance in preparing research studies on guidance and counseling as well as publishing articles in journals. The purpose of the research is to find out what factors influence the performance of teacher guidance and counseling in scientific publications. This research method uses qualitative research. The data collection method uses interviews and document studies. The results of the study are factors that influence the performance of teacher guidance and counseling in scientific publications including leadership, motivation, competence, and training. Previously, the training in arranging guidance and counseling action research and article publication had been carried out several times and was proven to be able to improve the professional competence of teacher guidance and counseling. This was accomplished, one of which was the support of leadership factors from the central policy, elements of the education agency, principals and organizations as well as teacher motivation. However, when the support of the leadership factor and the teacher's motivation factor decreased, the competence and training in arranging research and counseling actions as well as the publication of articles became decreased so that the teacher's guidance and counseling performance became low.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan strategi yang tepat dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah inklusi dan (2) penguatan kesadaran disabilitas bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan layanan di sekolah inklusi. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kajian pustaka, kajian teori, atau studi literatur terkait dengan strategi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah inklusi serta penguatan pemahaman guru bimbingan dan konseling tentang kesadaran disabilitas di sekolah inklusi. Studi dilakukan dengan mencari sumber literatur yang relevan kemudian dibandingkan dengan literatur lain yang kemudian ditarik menjadi sebuah kesimpulan atau pemahaman terkait dengan tema yang ditulis. Hasil yang diharapkan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah (1) strategi layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dirasa tepat untuk diimplementasikan di sekolah inklusi dan (2) perlunya penguatan kesadaran disabilitas bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah inklusi.Kata kunci: strategi, layanan, bimbingan dan konseling, kesadaran disabilitas                                                                 AbstractThis study aims to (1) develop appropriate strategies in providing guidance and counseling services in inclusive schools and (2) strengthening disability awareness for guidance and counseling teachers in providing services in inclusive schools. The study was conducted by finding relevant sources of literature and then compared with other literature which was then drawn into a conclusion or understanding related to the theme written. The expected results in writing this article are (1) guidance and counseling service strategies that are deemed appropriate for implementation in inclusive schools and (2) the need to strengthen disability awareness for guidance and counseling teachers in inclusive schools.Keywords: strategy, service, guidance and counseling, disability awareness

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to know the effectiveness of group counseling and to overcome student's learning difficulties in SMP PGRI 1 Palembang, (2) to know effectiveness of group counseling model with intrumental music based relaxation technique to overcome student learning difficulties SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. This reasearch use Quantitative approach Quasi-experimental design method with Non equivalent Control Group Design was conducted to obtain an overview of the effectiveness of group counseling through instrumental music-based relaxation techniques to overcome the learning difficulties of SMP PGRI 1 Palembang students by the following steps: (1) preparation of control groups and experimental groups, 2) provide a pre-test in the control and experimental group (3) provide treatment or treatment to the experimental group (4) provide post test in the experimental group, (5) the final outcome of group counseling effectiveness with instrument music-based relaxation techniques to overcome learning difficulties students. This study resulted in the effectiveness of group counseling with intrumental music-based relaxation techniques to overcome student learning difficulties. The study involved 14 students as a sample of 7 as an experimental group and 7 as a control group. Based on the results of field tests, the level of self efficacy of students increased after following group counseling activities with self-relaxation techniques. Shown by changes in student's learning difficulty level before being given treatment (preliminary evaluation) and after (final evaluation) of 147 points or 99%. The result of statistical test of wilcoxon test also shows 0,005 <0,05 so it can be concluded that group counseling service with intrumental music based relaxation technique is effective to overcome student's learning difficulties.keywords: group counseling, instrumental music, learning difficulties, relaxation.

Abstract

This study is concerned with the presence of BK teachers who have no educational background in guidance and counseling. They are appointed by the principal because they are deemed to be and come from educational and non-educational graduates with little teaching hours. This certainly has an impact on the quality of the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. This study aims: (1) to reveal and describe the implementation of guidance and counseling services by BK teachers; (2) differences in the implementation of guidance and counseling services classical format reviewed from the background SI BK and Non BK; (3) differences in the implementation of classical guidance counseling and counseling services in terms of working period of <16 years and ? 16 years; (4) the interaction of education background and working period of BK teacher in providing guidance and counseling service of classical format.This research uses quantitative method with comparative descriptive approach. The subjects of the study were all BK teachers with BK and Non BK BK Sijunjung who numbered 32 people. The instruments used are Likert model scale with 0.965 realib and 0.507 validity (implementation of classical counseling guidance and counseling service). Data were analyzed by using variance analysis technique (ANOVA).The result of data analysis shows: 1) the implementation of guidance and counseling service of the classical format given by the teacher of education background S1 and Non BK with working period <16 years and ? 16 years are in high category, and the average score of implementation of guidance and counseling service of classical format same category. 2) there is no significant difference in the background of BK and Non BK S1 education. 3) there is no significant difference in the implementation of classical counseling guidance and counseling services in terms of working period of <16 years and ? 16 years. 4) there is no significant interaction between the education background score and the working period of the BK teacher towards the implementation of classical counseling guidance and counseling services.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to explain the importance of changing the mainset of students towards teachers guidance and counseling through interpersonal communication skills. Communication is very important for the continuity of counseling, because the quality of relationships can determine success in counseling. Interpersonal communication skills are indispenseble in counseling to make it easier to establish good relationships and can bridge studentss in problem solving all the obstacles and problems that are being faced and can eliminate the stigma that has been pinned on the  BK teacher.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan kajian awal untuk merancang standar potensi yang dimiliki calon konselor. Potensi diri setiap individu berbeda-beda, mempengaruhi kemampuan diri seseorang dalam berpikir, bertindak, bersikap penting diketahui dosen melaksanakan tugas pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan  potensi diri mahasiswa ditinjau dari kemampuan umum, kemampuan khusus, dan kepribadian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskripsi, penelitian dilaksanakan di Prodi Bimbingan Konseling, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Ageng Tirtayasa selama 6 bulan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling yaitu mahasiswa yang sedang berada di kampus pada semester ganjil semester III dan V berjumlah 88 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) kemampuan umum mahasiswa semester III pada klasifikasi rata-rata dan di atas rata sebesar  56%  dari jumlah mahasiswa artinya diprediksi 56% dari jumlah mahasiswa dapat selesai tepat waktu. (2). kemampuan umum mahasiswa semester V  pada klasifikasi rata-rata dan di atas rata sebesar 94% dari jumlah mahasiswa artinya diprediksi 94% dapat selesai tepat waktu. (3) kemampuan khusus mahasiswa semester III dan V dengan 6 indikator, ada 3 indikator termasuk klasifikasi tinggi adalah kemampuan bahasa, abstrak, kemampuan ruang, dilihat dari jumlah mahasiswa belum mencapai 50 % dari jumlah mahasiswa. Dilihat dari 6 indikator kepribadian yang diuji, 2 indikator kepribadian yang perlu mendapat perhatian serius yaitu keteraturan dalam bekerja, dan baik hati dapat bekerjasama dengan orang lain. Kedua indikator ini perlu dimiliki oleh calon guru BK atau konselor sekolah. Disarankan bagi pihak yang berhubungan dengan mahasiswa seperti dosen, pengelola program, fakultas dan universitas dalam merencanakan program memperhatikan keberadaan kemampuan umum, kemampuan khusus dan kepribadian mahasiswa calon konselor. Semua pihak perlu melakukan pembinaan yang sungguh-sungguh, ikhlas, dan serius sehubungan dengan pengembangan potensi diri mahasiswa.

Abstract

In order to optimize the role and function of Teacher Guidance and Counseling in schools, it is necessary to socialize the understanding and understanding of several policies that contain the role and function of the Guidance and Counseling / Counselor Teachers to the school components and abort the assumption that the Guidance and Counseling teachers only help to solve the problematic counselees and also some Guidance and Counseling Teachers / Counselors who have not understand abouth her/his the role and function. In order to optimize the role and function of Guidance and Counseling / Counselor Teachers; there are several things that must be done such as;  1. to enrichment the role; 2. have to show the professionalism well; 3. help the students to choose and to establish the ?interest and idea?mprefessionally; 4. having a high commitment in effort to improve their qualifications and abilities to achieve the specified professional standards.
