Abstract

Maintenance of laboratory computers is a dilemma for some laboratory staff, because damage to peripherals in the lab can be alternated. So with this we made a lab monitoring system that uses thin client technology. Moreover, the use of lab facilities is quite large so that computer users who do not have enough time to handle hardware damage, which results in many computers being damaged. Therefore the implementation of a damage monitoring or monitoring system on a Lab computer was made to help monitor computer users in detecting damage to computer hardware along with solutions to deal with damage. With problems with damage to the computer lab. The current system still uses a manual inspection system using a media laboratory computer damage checklist. Therefore, in improving maintenance services in the Lab, an application system must be developed that supports the accuracy and accuracy of the maintenance laboratory so that it can assist technicians in monitoring the lab, both software and hardware. The damage is minimized with the help of thin client technology.

Abstract

The development of the world of oil palm plantations in the Jambi region is so rapid and one of them is the Bahar River region. With this development, so many plantations have resulted in not all people being aware of the location or information, due to the lack of available information about the location of the area, and the distance to the location of the Oil Palm Plantation is still not clear. From the problems that occur, this study aims to make new innovations in the form of applications. A mobile-based (android) application that can provide solutions to the public so they can easily find out the location and distance they can get from where they are to get to the oil palm plantations they want that are not limited to time and place. This application development uses the waterfall approach and uses the Android programming language to build mobile applications. This research produces a mobile application that can be accessed with an Android smartphone that has been tested by the environment. Testing applications with a black box approach that gives results that the application can run according to the functions of each menu in the application so that the application is suitable for use by the user.

Abstract

Developments in information technology affects an organization to become more advanced and better. Logistics company is one of the companies to implement information technology. One of the technologies that can be implemented RFID technology. RFID is a chip that stores a record or data. Thus RFID technology can be used as business requirements on a company that can help all company activities. In this study will explore the feasibility of a characteristic of RFID technology can be applied or can as the business needs of the logistics company is INDONESIA. In this paper use you methods Systematic literature review (SLR). This research resulted in three RFID characteristics: Real-time data processing, data tracking continuous and discrete data, reuse. Expected by this research can contribute to how a user can select and measure the characteristics of RFID technology so that the views of the system and the implementation of RFID technology into added value for the company rather as complementary technologies.

Abstract

Computer devices are a unit that is useful both now and in the future, not the device, but the data stored in it is very valuable both master data, transactions and reports. One of the factors that causes damaged computer components is the room temperature that exceeds the provisions, namely 21-230 celsius. The sensors used are 3 DS18B20 temperature sensors and MQ2 smoke sensor. Both types of sensors are placed inside the server room, besides that, a buzzer is also added to produce sound if the temperature is more than 250 Celsius. The whole program is connected to Raspberry Pi and uses the python program language. It is expected that with the presence of temperature and smoke sensors, the server room will be monitored so that problems regarding damaged devices can be avoided.

Abstract

Jasmine is the one of the national flower. Each jasmine type has unique characteristic and different between each other. Sadly, Indonesia is not the only one who have the Jasmine as the national flower, the other countries such as Malaysia and Philippine have their jasmine. In this research we tried to classify between Indonesia and Other country Jasmine. We proposed using Local Binary Pattern as the feature extraction and K-Nearest Neighbour as the classifier. The result shows the best accuracy from our proposed methods is 55%.

Abstract

Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) adalah sebuah indikator yang menunjukkan kemampuan manusia di suatu tempat untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidupnya. Di dalamnya terdapat komponen tingkat kesehatan, tingkat pendidikan, dan tingkat kesejahteraan (standar hidup layak). Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan implementasi Data Mining untuk memprediksi standar hidup layak berdasarkan tingkat kesehatan dan tingkat pendidikan. Sebagaimana metode Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dalam megukur Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, indikator tingkat kesehatan menggunakan Angka Harapan Hidup (AHH), tingkat pendidikan menggunakan Rata-Rata Lama Sekolah (RLS) dan Harapan Lama Sekolah (HLS), sementara standar hidup layak menggunakan Pengeluaran Per Kapita (PPK). Data BPS yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh Kota dan Kabupaten di Indonesia selama kurun waktu 2010 – 2016. Data tersebut kemudian dikelompokkan berdasarkan provinsi. Pengujian dilakukan pula untuk menguji ketepatan prediksi PPK untuk di tahun yang sama, serta 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 tahun setelahnya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa telah dapat dilakukan prediksi nilai PPK berdasarkan AHH, RLS, dan HLS dengan 28 dari 34 (82,32%) provinsi memperoleh nilai coefficient of determination di atas 0,7. Jadi, lebih dari 70% variasi nilai PPK dapat diprediksi berdasarkan data AHH, RLS, dan HLS.

Abstract

Fuzzy logic is a rule-based decision-making process that aims to solve a difficult problem and uncertainty. This research aims to develop a computer-based system which can assist in the decision maker to determine students’ academic major of senior high school based on their competence, psychology potential and talent-interest. The system is modeled using the fuzzy inference system with Sugeno inference method. The results show that the proposed system succeeds to provide recommendation subject in highly accurate, and it is more efficient than the manual decision-making process.

Abstract

The country of Indonesia has a huge opportunity to realize the potential for broadband users because the population growth rate is high and internet users are increasing each year. For this reason, acceleration is needed in providing telecommunications services and infrastructure that can increase internet access for users. To find out the estimated number of broadband users in the future, in this study proposed a hybrid exponential smoothing neural network forecasting model. By combining these methods, it is possible to take advantage of the forecasting technique of each while overcoming their drawbacks. This study showed that the RMSE value of hybrid model is 29.86% lower than that of the non hybrid. The MAPE value of hybrid model is 99.93% lower than that of the non hybrid model and the MAE value of hybrid model is 38.52% lower than that of the non hybrid model.

Abstract

Smartcard is an invention in the field of IT that has simplified human life because it has many functions and capabilities to store data. The advantages of a smartcard are rewritable data, extensive data capacity, support for reading multiple data carriers (support for multiple tag reads), robust physicality and smart task. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design a system of personalization and identification for the attendance of lecturers by utilizing Mifare's smartcard technology using a java card applet that can facilitate the lecture attendance process on a campus. Besides that, it also helps interested parties (in this case, campus management) in evaluating the performance of a lecturer. This study uses the Prototype / Prototyping model research method with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) approach. The results of this study are a prototype design personalization system and identification of lecturer attendance based on Mifare smartcard technology using java card applets, as well as the results of testing the accuracy of prototype readings from the Mifare smartcard personalization and identification system with smartcard readers using Java card applets.
