Some statements to be answered by respondents in the form of affective questions about their feelings or perceived in learning are often referred to as self-report measure. The Z test is used to test the research hypothesis as it relates to this type of comparative study and to find out the accepted or rejected null hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant difference between screen book and printed book on students perceived learning. This means that the two natural groups, morning class and evening class, both prefer the printed book because of the tacticle interaction factor. Abstract

The lack of students’ activities seems to be the main reasons why the teacher failed to maximize the participation of the students in a senior high school in a small city in East Java Indonesia. The unification of two different basic competences into one lesson plan also makes the indicator of the lesson plan become not too clear and not specific enough. Thus the research questions of this study are: 1. How is the implementation of the teaching and learning process based on the revised lesson plan conducted by the teacher? 2. How is the teaching and learning process based on the revised lesson plan followed by the students? 3. How is the students’ participation in learning speaking after the teaching and learning process based on the revised lesson plan conducted? This research is a classroom action research with one cycle only. The first data is in the form of description of the teacher’s activities during the teaching and learning process, the source of the data is the teacher who conducts the revised teaching-learning process. The second data is the description of students’ activities during the teaching and learning process, the source of the second data is the students who follow the teaching and learning process based on the revised lesson plan. The third data is the participation of the students when they are taught using the revised lesson plan, the third source of the data is also the students who follow the teaching and learning process based on the revised lesson plan. The researcher used unstructured field notes to write all the information which were seen and heard and also everything that happened during teaching and learning process conducted by the teacher. The data need to be sorted and classified to know the relevant data and non-relevant data. Then the relevant data were classified based on each research question to be analyzed. Abstract

By the end of 2019, Covid-19 outbreak has hit the whole world, and its impact has changed the learning process from face-to-face learning to virtual-based learning. This phenomenon also affected the learning process conducted by pre-service teachers in the internship program held by the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik in rural areas of Loei, Thailand. Due to the pandemic, the process was turned online. The online learning was a challenge for pre-service teachers because teaching online has never been done before, and the pre-service teachers didn't have much experience in it. The pre-service teachers felt that problems occurred were mostly due to limited signals and language differences that made it difficult for the pre-service teachers to communicate with the students. Therefore, to see a different view from the students, the researchers were interested to know the students' perspective towards virtual-based learning implemented by the pre-service teachers in a rural area of Bankhoksrijaroen School. The researchers distributed a survey to 37 students to find out their perspective about virtual-based learning. The result showed that the students had several problems such as differences in language, internet connection, limited learning media, and less effective learning process. However, there was a difference between virtual-based learning and conventional learning, but it was not considered a problem regardless of the unknown ending of the pandemic. The virtual-based learning was deemed able to replace face-to-face learning process, and the students also stated that face-to-face learning was not necessary to be implemented during the pandemic.
