Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how to implement online learning models and to find out what factors hinder the implementation of online learning. This research method uses qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis techniques. This analysis technique is obtained from the results of observations, interviews and the field by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The number od student in class X is 30 people. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of online learning models, especially in class X students, is by utilizing several kinds of applications and the factors that hinder the implementation of online learning are the lack of effectiveness and time efficiency, lack of student interest and lack of understanding of the material. The positive impact of online learning is that the learning model applied by teachers is considered quite effective. Because the teacher uses instructional videos, written assignments and practices.

Abstract

This research aims to know the utilization of information and communication technology of teachers in learning planning, learning process, and evaluation of learning at SDIT Nurul Fikri Depok. This type of research uses surveys with quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis. Sampling techniques use simple random sampling regardless of population level. Data retrieval techniques by giving questionnaires to teachers SDIT Nurul Fikri a number of 32 people. The results showed that the utilization of information and communication technology in learning planning is very high with a percentage of 86.63%, the utilization of information and communication technology in the learning process is very high with a percentage of 81.88%, the utilization of information and communication technology in the evaluation of learning is very high with a percentage of 86.67%. Overall the utilization of information and communication technology in learning by class teachers at SDIT Nurul Fikri is very high with a percentage of 85.06%.

Abstract

This meta-analysis was conducted to summarize the evidence linking the influence of Contextual Teaching-Learning (CTL) on students' mathematical abilities. The research data was obtained from the ERIC database, sage publishing, Scopus database, semantic scholarships, and google scholarships. The 26 studies that met the inclusion requirements were analyzed to obtain an estimate of effectiveness and examined the extent to which the effect of CTL was moderated by year of study, level of education, sample size, and publication source. The random-effect model is estimated, and data processing uses the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software. The results showed the overall effect size of the study was 0.88 (large effect). The moderator analysis results revealed that the implementation of CTL was moderated by the variables of education level and publication source. On the other hand, the studies' heterogeneity reflects that there are still other moderating variables associated with the effectiveness of CTL. The study's limitations and implications are discussed as the basic idea for the implementation of further research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the effectiveness of critical thinking in teaching PAK for Class IX students of SMP. Motivation is needed by students to improve student learning outcomes. In this case the teacher plays an important role in motivating students. Great teachers are teachers who are able to arouse students' enthusiasm for learning. This description provides an overview of the importance of classroom management skills and providing student learning motivation, especially learning Christian Religious Education as a guide in forming students who have Christian values. This is a quantitative research and population in this study were all 200 students of Class IX in 2017. Samples were taken randomly (random sampling) of 50% of the total population, namely 100 people. The research data were analyzed in the following steps: 1) Test the analysis requirements obtained: a) rcount = 6.14> rtable (α = 0.05, CI = 95%, n = 32) = 2.00 thus it is known that there is a relationship positive b) The value of t = 6.14> ttable (α = 0.05, dk = 30) = 2.00 thus it is known that there is a significant relationship 2) The regression test obtained: a) regression equation: = 52.39 + 0.4X. This regression equation shows that in a constant state = 52.39, for every addition of one unit of variable X (PAK Lessons), there will be an addition of variable Y (Effectiveness of Critical Thinking) of 0.4. b) The regression coefficient test (r2) obtained r2 = 0.6399 and the percentage of influence between PAK Lessons on the Effectiveness of Critical Thinking was 63.99%. 3) Hypothesis testing with Simple Linear Regression Variance Analysis obtained the value of Fcount = 174.22> Ftabel (α = 0.05, dk = 30) = 4.00.

Abstract

Government policy to enforce online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic that is not supported by adequate facilities has become a significant obstacle for students and their parents. Each educational institution has different perspectives and perceptions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the difference in perception between parents and teachers towards the implementation process and evaluation system of online learning. The data was collected using questionnaires of 17 indicators using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model criteria, then distributed online using random sampling techniques to parents and teachers throughout Indonesia at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels so that 118 data were obtained divided into 81 teachers and 37 parents. The results of the student test (t-test) obtained information that there is a difference in perception between parents and teachers, this can be seen from the t-test score of 1,919 with a sig score. 0.057. This is also evidenced by the average teacher response score of 66.19 which means positive, while the average response score of parents is 60.54 which means less positive to the application of online learning during COVID-19. The results of this study are expected to be used as an evaluation of online learning for the government in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to know the parents' involvement, the sources used, parents' creativity, and the strategies used to widen the parents' concept of learning during the COVID-19 outbreak. This is descriptive quantitative research. The data were taken from 60 observers who observed the respondents' behavior in online learning. The respondents were the mothers of primary school students. The data were gathered from January 30, 2021, until February 15, 2021. The researcher collected the data by implementing these steps: posted the information for observers’ recruitment, made the instruments for the observers, the observers collected the data, the observers submitted the result of observation through Google Form. The result shows that most of the parents, 82% mothers involved in online learning, and 18% did not engage in the learning process. Most parents used textbooks and students' worksheets as learning sources (48%), followed by both (books and internet sources) 35%, internet sources 10%, and others 7%. In accompanying students' online learning, 85% of parents did not improve their learning media creativity, and 15% of parents were creative in handling online learning. The strategies used to widen the parents' creativity was using surroundings as learning media, including things, tools, activities, and settings.
